| I thought I'd buried my raging hatred for Mass Effect 2 in the back of Miranda's head by killing her off deliberately in the last mission. But no, I tried popping it in again to get ready for ME 3 and it all came back. I'm not going to bore you with my reasons why I hate this game, there's plenty of locked threads already.
No, what I want is far more satisfying. I want all the annoying characters gone. ALL OF THEM. I want to load up ME 3 and not see any one of these annoying jarjar's ruining my game. Because I suck at this game, I want you, the community to help me out and tell me exactly what I need to do to turn the following characters into paste.
Miranda, Moradin, Grunt, Jack, and Jacob.
I want my old team (the one that didn't suck) back in ME 3 and as such, the following have to live:
Garrus, Tali, and Liara.
I'm willing to tolerate Legion, Thane, and Samara because they come late in the game, don't have horrible dialog, thane dies of a terminal disease anyway, and you hardly get to use them before the game ends.
I figured out how to kill off Miranda, and Liara is easy because she's not even in the game as a team member, but I'm not sure how to save just Garrus and Tali.
As for why? Miranda and her arrogant 'I'm the perfect woman, and you WILL have sex with me want it or not' attitude and Jack's 'I write bad poetry and shop Hot Topic' need to be spaced. Thane's melodrama gets fixed in a year or two anyway. Grunt's 'hey Shephard I just discovered puberty!' isn't a satisfactory replacement for Wrex. Jacob just needs to die because he's the same Ashely/Kaiden bore fest that made me go stag in the first game. As for Moradin, while funny, I'm not really into the whole neuter the entire Krogan race "for science!" thing the game crowbars in.
PS: No dlc allowed. If they wanted me to play it, they would have put it in the game. |
| You could just not do their loyalty missions. They die if you dont do their loyalty missions. Also why are you playing a game that you hate, it doesnt make any sense to me. |
| Things to do if you want everyone to live
1. buy all ship upgrades see ship enachments
2. do the loyalty missions of people you want to live
3. Tech expert legion,Tali,fire team Jacob,garrus, biotic samara,jack leader same as before take whoever you want to the final boss if you havent done their loyalty mission they die in the end |
| Basically, only Miranda and one other dies. So choose whichever one pisses you off the most and let it happen.
I don't really classify Mordin as annoying or offensive though, I rather enjoy his character (I'm a scientist, maybe it's bias). Jack on the other hand can simply get blown out into the vacuum for all I care. Miranda is a whiny bi-atch as well, not much of a fan.
In the end, I had Miranda and that gnarly old mercenary die (I didn't care for his stories).
My team of choice was Thane and Kasumi, with myself as an Adept. |

Miranda is actually the toughest person to kill since she can only die from either the final boss (not loyal) or the Hold the Line section. If you kill Jack and Mordin before the Hold the Line section and take Tali with you, Miranda will likely die. Everyone else can easily be sent to their death. |
