Seeing that Phoenix was trying to get through the window, Sonic jumped while spinning into a ball - a simple, but effective tactic. The window didn't take long to break under his spines and he dropped to the ground, waving for Phoenix and Dillon to follow. He looked down the alley back towards the police barricade, as if to say 'I don't know how long we've got until they look down here!'
Phoenix was dumbstruck.
He was pushed by a giddy Dillon into the alleyway where he landed head-first into a bin.
He picks himself up only to find a condom of his head.
He fights off the urge to puke as The 3 of us then run for it.
>Preparing Electrical Stimuli<
Matt was suddenly wide awake from the small shock that was delivered by one of his augments. That was when he noticed 'Proximity Alert' was flashing across his screen in big, red letters. Reacting instantly, Matt got out his revolver and flipped up onto his feet, ready to kill. He lowered his gun when he recognized the dragon and its rider from the trial. "For a second there I thought I was actually about to be eaten by some creature that inhabits this island. Thankfully it's just you guys," Matt said as he put away his gun and lit up a cigarette. "So what brings you guys my way?" he said after finally relaxing.
Tomoya was on-looking the battle between Rugal and Sev/Drek, he laughed at them as he peered out of the powerful but small telescope that was loaded onto the ship before. I always wanted to try this, Tomoya thought darkly and then chuckled as he walked onto the ship with the telescope in hand and closed the door to activate the gravity stabilizers.
Tomoya walked into the cockpit and flipped a switch, one of the smaller lazer cannons flipped out from the bottom of the ship and started to charge, "This is gonna waste power, but it'll be fun..." Tomoya said as he adjusted the coordinates for lazer, he was planning to slice Rugal Manor in half, after a minute of charging Tomoya pressed the fire at ready button, all he needed to do is wait for the Earth to rotate until it senses the coordinates. In that time, Tomoya laughed to himself as he drank a redbull from the small fridge.
"Huh?" Tomoya thought hard at what just happened, he looked onto the console and saw that the ship was lightning up and all the power supply was going towards the small cannon, "Shit..." Tomoya yelped. I hope Rugal and Sev can handle a giant plasma ball! Tomoya thought as the lights were getting worse. "And it seems I'm going to blow up soon anyhow...craaaap" He yelled as he absorbed the essentials and put on his black space suit and ran out of the spaceship in time.
Tomoya ran and looked behind him, the ship grew cracks and started to radiate light, suddenly *POWSLUM* a giant ball got shot out of the small cannon and headed towards Manor Rugal. The bad part was that the ship exploded with it, "Well fu...." Tomoya said before being hit with the explosion.
Tomoya was sent flying and unconscious towards Earth in a ball of golden light and electricity to protect him, luckily it was towards the city where Dillon, Phoenix and sonic where.
Rugal had landed back at his Manor to take care of Drek when the sky lit up from Tomoya's Attack.
He simply shook his head and held his hand out and fired at the blast with a large chunk of his power to cancel out the fireball.
The Two met and the sky filled with a firework display.
Rugal felt faint after that but shook it off.
Phoenix manged to taked the comdom off his head in time to see the incoming comet.
"oh god!...what now?!..."
Sonic couldn't really tell, but he had the feeling it wasn't going to land near the strip club. In fact, it'd most likely land on the city outskirts - but getting there with a police escort would be impossible. He turned to the two humans. "You guys go check out that comet, or something," he told them. "That's where I'm going as soon as I deal with these guys!"
"Wait!" Phoenix stopped him. "Are you sure about this?"
Sonic just grinned and replied, "Don't worry, I've dealt with cops before!" before running through the crowd, hoping to distract as many as possible. Phoenix and Dillon exchanged a look, then started running down the alley.
In the ring of cops, the man in the black suit tensed up as soon as he saw Sonic. Presumably a fictional character, yet come to life, he thought. I'll bring you back home and score that promotion. Now if the Bangkok police took delivery of that new gear... He pulled a Polaroid camera out of his pocket and discreetly photographed Sonic, so he'd have proof for his retainer.
He caught the photo just in time, as one of the policemen reached down for his Taser - exactly the opportunity Sonic had been waiting for to vault over his head and run off down the road, checking his speed so he'd know if the police had taken the bait. Indeed, most of them climbed back into their cars and went after him, leaving only three to head down the alley.
Caim smiled and breathed a sigh of relief, "The dragon saw a familiar face, I thought it would be smart to gather ourselves before busting out of this place. At least, the dragon and I plan on busting out."
The dragon nodded, "So, human, ever fancied a ride on a dragon before? I would get on now, more of them come."
Matt was confused, "Them? What do you mean by them ?"
The dragon laughed, "The demons here, of course! Do you think my partner and I just sat around flying for no particular reason? I would hurry if I were you, they can get a bit nasty. Besides, you projectile weapon may be useful..."
Dillon made to follow the heroes but as they reached a hiding spot he moved a fair instance away, Night had fallen and the Full moon lit the city. Dillon stood upon a rooftop holding the Golden Disc.
"to be, or not to be? That is the question.
This Disc I hold is it a record of what will be, or only of what may?
For if the future is indeed inevitably foretold then my own demise is Set by that confirmation.
I could not live if not the master of my own fate." his head hung low for a moment.
"But, if the future can be changed, if this disc merely records one path of all the myriad ways the cosmos might conform. The It's power is infinite but still so limited for It could only be used but once, and in that change be rendered fiction forever more.
Or I could DESTROY IT!" he raised the disc high as if to smash it unto the ground.
"But..." his shoulder relaxed "No." his arms lowered
"That would be a cowards answer, I shall not cast away that which frightens me. I shall learn the truth, and then, Then I will know whether I face oblivion."
He stowed the Disc in a pocket on the inside of his jacket, no one would suspect it was there, and none knew he possessed this artifact.
"Until then." he declared, he looked at one of the images that he had extracted from the disc using his iPod( which had assimilated the CD player), It showed himself, possibly in a heated battle his appearance in the image was similar to his own, meaning that this event would be recent, or never.
Location: On the outskirts of the city, Building site: AAA0
On the outskirts of the city of Bangkok the comet crashed into a building site and and destroyed everything around it, the lucky thing is that the crater was the size of the construction site so nobody really got hurt.
A body laid in plain site, it was Tomoya, but he was glowing gold and electricity surrounded him so nobody could go near him or risk a near death shock.
A sound started to come from the disk in Dillon's pocket, it's lights grew red instead of gold, a computerized voice started to speak, "WARNING, WARNING, origin's life-force has crash landed, authorized rescue needed..." the voice repeated twice more until it showed a holographic map of the city and the site of the crash.
Dillon couldn't hesitate, as this could help him solve his Predicament. the disc's holographic map portrayed a construction site, an image that had been previously extracted from the disc, This would prove a useful time to mark out a way of gauging the discs true nature.
Dillon activated his Angelic light wings and flew to Bangkok, making use of air currents, he was able to arrive within a short time, though with the discs odd placement with time it is very possible that the the signal came Before the crash.
Dillon soon reached Tomoya's crash zone.
The Light powers also had created a link between the two, meaning Dillon could tell Tomoya was still alive, though trapped under debris.
"Tomoya, Hold on old buddy I'll get you out of there. Dillon began to gather pieces of rubble and cast them away from where Tomoya was trapped.
"Look Tomoya I know this is hard to believe but, I need you to hold on, I'm scared right now, I Can't stand to lose you at the moment, with Amaya gone your one of the only people I think I can Trust so just hang in there. OK?"
Dillon continued his desperate digging, his light powers would break the larger chunks into pieces. The Young mans face showed his fear and his sadness at the thought of losing his companion.
Deep down Tomoya could see one of Dillon's electric Beetles, Tomoya recalled how Dillon had once used the beetles as a means of gather power to absorb it into his body, Tomoya managed to reach out and touch the beetle. New energy flowed through Tomoya's body. he could hear Dillon's desperate Ravings.
As the comet crashed into the ground a few miles outside Bangkok, Sonic was still busy outrunning the police cars. Running lazily backwards, only occasionally glancing to see where he could turn a corner, he was intentionally aggravating the police into doing something stupid - though hopefully not stupid enough to kill them.
Then a familiar loud honking noise came from behind a building, and an even more familiar giant truck drove straight through it, crushing the cars and moving fast enough to worry Sonic. Not this again... he thought, making a sudden left turn away from the comet.
The truck kept following, and Sonic made a glance behind him to see who was at the wheel. Nobody he knew - but the glance had cost him enough speed for the truck to get even closer. Just as it was closing in, it fired something out of its grille and slowed down, turning away from Sonic. The hedgehog didn't stop to think about his good luck, merely turning back towards where he'd left Phoenix.
He didn't at all notice the tracking device lodged between his spines.
"While that sounds like a good plan, there just one problem with it. We're in hell. The only way we can get out is through divine intervention from god or our case gets a retrial. Either way, the only places we can go for now are other parts of hell," Matt explained to the two. He finished off his cigarette than took a drink of water. "For now though, going with you guys is better than waiting to die in this cave," he said after his thirst was quenched.
Phoenix watched as Sonic and Dillon speed off.
"...great...guess I'm walking...*sigh*...why did do curling in high school?..."
He set out sprinting to the crash site.
Perhaps one of them will come back...And what the heck was Dillon on about with that disk?...
From where the barricade was, Sonic spotted Phoenix - minus any cops - nearby. Braking next to the lawyer, he casually asked how fast he liked to go.
"What are you talking about...?" Phoenix replied, unsure of what Sonic meant.
"Here, I'll show you!" was the reply, as he grabbed Phoenix's hand and started running towards the crash site. It took about a minute to get there, and Phoenix was thoroughly sick by that point. While he was throwing up, Sonic walked over to Dillon and Tomoya. "So what's going on here?" he asked. "What was with that falling star and the explosion here?"
Phoenix Returned from a nearby Porta-Loo, shaky and ill-looking.
"...I need a vacation..." He said before fainting in a comdic fashion.
Tomoya absorbed the power coming from Dillon's beetle, lightning came from the cracks of the building on top of him, Dillon and the others saw this and decided to step back, of course somebody dragged Phoenix back.
The lightning that came from the cracks slithered along the ground until it found a near-by electrical cord, Tomoya decided he needed the cities power supply to survive what he is about to do next.
Then suddenly the city turns black for an instance. A bright glow came from the cracks, Tomoya tucked his arms and legs inside and channeled lightning to them, suddenly a bright burning light came from the cracks that Tomoya released. The light had faded away, only leaving a hovering Tomoya with his symbolic lightning wings flapping with grace. Lightning outlined his body as he landed in front of Dillon, Sonic and a fainted Phoenix. "Glad to see me?" Tomoya asked with a grin.
Sonic just stood there, equal parts stunned and confused. "Who are you again?" he asked. "All I know is that I'm meant to be working with Dillon on something." He handed the note from Celestia to Tomoya. "It would have been Shadow, but he had...issues with the person who assigned it."
Tomoya shook his head when he handed the note, "Know nothing about this, I know another version of yourself, he was an asshole...but had a good taste in chili dogs, anyway, I'm suppose to help you guys unite the heroes and kill the villains, that's how this usually goes." Tomoya said, he looked at the fainted Phoenix, "Ugh, and who's that...and I need the disk back, its just a message from me before I exploded" Tomoya said once more as he looked from Phoenix towards Dillon.
Phoenix rolled over, the front of his body coated in mud.
He groaned "Phoenix Wright...Ace Attorney..." As he pulled out an even(?) Muddier Business Card.
Tomoya took the card and one of Phoenix's hands and got him up, "Tomoya Okazaki, lightning Archangel and protector of the Earth...well least thats what they said" Tomoya said as he shook Phoenix's hand.
"Nice to see you Dillon, but what's going on, I saw Rugal, Sev and Drek fight near his manor and multiple heroes in hell?" Tomoya said with a confused face.
"Yeeeahhh..About that..uhhh...I was their Lawyer..." Phoenix said as he picked himself up.
"Rugal...interfered with Due Process and well..." He shrugged.
"We gotta find evidence that Phoenix was threatened, meanwhile I Need to talk to you about something, Dillon put his hand on Tomoya's shoulder, using the connection they had he sent thought like signals, this communication was beyond the normal stimulus and as such couldn't be heard except for Tomoya and Dillon, it was perfect privacy.
"The disc You sent to earth, It seems to have images that were recorded in the Future, I don't know how it works but I've already found it does tell future events, the disc displayed this site during the crash and I had extracted this image ten minutes before it had actually happened" Dillon looked at the image on his iPod, but now the image was different, now it showed the city during a blackout.
"Curious the image has changed."
"So what do you want me to do?" Sonic asked. "If we're just looking for something written down, I'm not sure how much help I'd be, besides keeping everyone busy while you break into people's houses..."
@ Diablo, Phoenix shouldn't know about the disc Dillon was away from the heroes during his monologue and he wouldn't want phoenix to know, RUgal just might leanr about it and then Rugal might try to steal it, (he wouldn't be ab;e to but seriously Rugal is never going to learn about the golden disc. [/spoiler]
Ooc = You went on a mad and very loud Disney Villain Mono-log on a rooftop...that's petty noticeable...just saying...
Phoenix returned after finding a hose to wash the mud off with in time to hear Sonic.
"Not Houses, just Businesses, I know another place, A Weapons Plant about a 10 miles from here in the countryside, there we could find the last location and perhaps the funds Rugal was going to use to hire that Assassin."
Tomoya nodded at Dillon, "Keep it, but at some point it has to fade away from humanity, they're not suppose to have this technology yet." Tomoya said. "Well it doesn't matter, we need to free the others and take down those villains" Tomoya spoke as he summoned his sword via his hands and soon his desert eagle too.
Sonic jumped up and down in place, as though trying to limber up - he really didn't need to; he was just a little impatient. "So where's this place we wanted to check out?" he asked. "Wherever it is, I can probably get over there pretty quickly."
Caim laughed, "So? Where me and the dragon come from, Hell has already erupted upon the world! This place is self contained. If Hell could just bust in, why can't we? Besides, I figured out the main problem with this place. It's meant to mess with your mind, and make you think you can't do anything besides roll over and suffer. That's how they get their hooks into you, and get you to do what they want. If you reject them, and their ideas, you can escape. At least, that's how I busted out with the dragon."
Angelus nodded along with Caim's statement, and added, "He is right about the prison break. Were it not for his determination, I would have rotted in that jail. I am supposing the laws of belief affect this place. That is to say, if you believe you will get out, and try to do so, you will eventually escape. At least, as Caim has previously mentioned, that is how we escaped our previous jail."
"I am pretty sure Hell is designed to keep people in, not keep people out. If it were that easy to get out, Hell would've been unleashed onto our world already. And while I would like nothing more than to get out, I don't want to be blamed for unleashing Hell onto earth. What we would need to get out without causing disaster is advanced portal magic, which I'm guessing none of you know," Matt finished explaining as he examined the cave. "I don't mean to be pessimistic, I am merely being realistic about all this," he added after a few seconds of silence.
Phoenix said "A Weapons Plant outside of the City, It's Guarded, but it shouldn't be a problem...for you guys at least..."
Amaya appeared next to Matt, Angelus and Caim in a yellow flash. "If you want a way out, i think i have one." she said.
Caim drew his sword in surprise. "YOU?! I thought you were one of the one's who put us in this shithole!"
"That was my sister, she did all of this. I beheaded her." Amaya said as the scenery around them changed. It switched from everyones point of veiw to Amaya's first person account of decapitating her sister. Afer it was over, they were back in hell.
"If you want me to leave, i'll do so. i've left a trail of eath around the island and i'm pretty sure i know of someone who can get us out."
"That true, but we should get going before the cops get here" Tomoya said as his wings faded into the darkness, he withdrew his weapons and headed outside of the construction site and into the near-by street.
As Tomoya came into the street he saw a 4-wheel drive, porsche, obviously belonged to the man that was in-charge of the work there, "Sorry about this." Tomoya said as he smashed the window, but quickly override the car's alarm system and started the engine at the same time, he then drove back into the site drawing the windows down.
"Anyone want a lift there, we will be less noticeable and can think of a plan along the way" Tomoya said as he fiddled with the radio.
Caim lowered his sword, "That Akasumi girl? The Snake Princess, right? Well, I was hoping that I was going to be the one to rend her head from her shoulders, but... I can deal with this. You can get us out? Welp, I'm more than fine with that. What do you think, dragon?"
From the front, the humans could hear the dragon harumph, and say, "Any way away from this detestable place would be a change for the better, regardless of who provides the assistance or the method of doing so. Lead the way, girl. Our enemies are gathering, and I am not certain if it would be advisable to stay here any longer."
