Ireland, Real Life Dead Air And now for the REAL post
"Shit, Hiryu!" The Nerd grabs for his zapper and shoots the tank square in the face, leaving nothing but a clean, plate sized hole. He runs to help his comrade, but he was overwhelemed by the horde, leaving him to spam his shove button.
Hiryu is soon swarmed by the Infected as Dillon cover's Rip's back as she kills everything in her line of sight.
With a small window of opportunity that was given to him, the nerd wasted no time to help hiryu get back to the truck.
"Something..is wrong with my vision...only see black and white..." Hiryu groaned as AVGN helped him up.
"Don't move, Im healing you" said the nerd automatically, as he applied first aid to Hiryu. "BANG! BABABANG! BANG BANG BANG BANG! BANG!"
Hiryu soon regains his composure and takes his sword, now at Max Charge.
On the street outside the building about 2 minutes after he horde Shadow was trying to get everyone towards a safe room he could see inside a building. "Everyone in here!" Shadow yelled as he waited for the rest of his group to catch up. Caim and Angelus went in first, then Tomoya went in, followed by Shadow. As Shadow closed the door behind them he said "I.... do not want to...... do that again" he sighed and slumped to the floor.
Seras had just destroyed the zombies in her path, all that stood between her and freedom was a tank. " Der panzerkampfwagon ist tot." she said and charged it. As Rip charged the tank, she put up a shield and the tank swung, making contact with the rune shield. Rup then threw a punch into the zombie's chest, breaking a few ribs. he swung and hit her, sending the witch into a wall. She got up, having softened the impact with a shield. "You messed up my hair. Tot." she said and was quickly infront of the tank. The witch then launched a knee into the tanks chest, sending it onto its back. Leaping up ontop of the massive zombie, Rip laid into its head with left and right hooks, alternating respectively. She kept pounding for over a minute, until her hands were red with blood and gore. Getting up off the tank, Rip was breathing heavily. She walked over and picked up her gun. She then began walking towards the plane.
"A little cocky are we?" James said to himself after seeing Rip casually walk away from the dead Tank. "Tell the AI to hit the group in the finale with three Tanks. I want to see if they can get away in time," James ordered his workers. "Sir, multiple Tanks require your authorization code before the AI can do anything," one of the workers informed him. "Fine, hand me a keypad so we can hurry this along," he said before being handed one and entering his code. At the Dead Air finale As the heroes gathered around the plane waiting for the pump to be done, they heard the terrifying roar of a Tank approaching. While prepping to deal with it they heard another one and then another one after that. Things had just gotten a whole lot tougher.
"DAMMIT! EVERYONE! GET IN THE PLANE!" Hiryu shouted as he leapt across the heads of the Infected and ran aboard.
Rip moved quickly and grabbed her gun, jumping inside the plane and sat against the wall, tiring herself out with the tank.
As the group finished restocking their ammo and left the building they came to a large area with a building on the left and a petrol station in front. "This doesn't look good" Tomoya said as he scanned the area, "But we can get through that window by getting onto that scissor lift and riding up. We can easily hope off the horde with that station" Tomoya said as he quickly ran with the others to the scissor lift. But soon as they were on it Tomoya pressed the up button which slowly lifted them but suddenly a horde sound was heard.
Caim hefted the minigun up and yelled, "Let them come! Ha ha! This friend of mine and I will be more than happy to help!"
Dash flew up to survey the incoming horde. "A bit of ways off, I'll delay as much as I can!" Dash flew off as the rest of the group rode up the lift. She flew faster and faster, until suddenly, BANG A massive rainbow explosion moving in all directions rocked the air. She had broken the sound barrier again, and the horde had just been hit by a rainbow-themed pony going at Mach 1. The Sonic RainBoom had a grand effect, blasting the entire horde back and taking out a good seventeen. Many still remained, however, and Dash's stamina was draining quickly. "I'm no Severin, I can't just fight hoof-to-hoof immensely outnumbered with high-powered attacks like that," Dash thought to herself, trying to retreat back to the lift. The horde kept coming at her, and she kept on the tips of her hooves, kicking, punching, and headbutting wherever there was an opening.
Dillon ran at the plane, he jumped and landed inside, but he put too much force so his roll into the plane made him hit the wall. he rubbed his sore head.
"I told you that Amaya said she and stella would see you in a bit, right?" Rip asked stretching out a bit. What Rip needed was a good long nap, something to recharge her.
As the horde began nearing he lift Shadow shot the gas station pump and the whole thing exploded taking alot of zombies with it. "That was fun" Shadow said as the lift finally reached the top. "Everyone to the window!!! " Shadow yelled as he shot out the glass and dived jumped in the building. He saw a hole in the floor but before he could jump in he was dragged by a smoked down the hole. "Fuck you!!!" He yelled out as he was dragged into the smoker.
"Yeah that's cool Shadow! Totally don't aim a few of those bullets at the zombies giving me a Death-Noogie right now!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she bucked a few assaulting zombies off of her.
"Get--- this..... Thing..... OFF OFF ME!!!" Shadow yelled out as his response to her insulting question.
Youmu looked back at the door. The melting seemed to be happening in a wide oval, which seemed about 30% complete. She turned back to "Area 3", whose entrants were piling into an airplane - hopefully, from there it'd be easy to get them out. Looking at the man in glasses who was still on the minigun, she thought, C'mon, get your ass in the plane already!
As sigh flew out of Tomoya's mouth as he finished up cutting up some walkers (Walking Dead reference anyone?) and yelled. "Damn it Shadow!" as Tomoya shot the few zombie surrounding Rainbow Dash leaving her alone. He then jumped through the window and straight in the hole and did a downward slice which sliced the smoker in half and left the tongue wrapped around him. "Lets run in case more come!" He yelled at everyone.
"I.... Hate.... The..... Smokey ones......" Shadow wheezed out as he ran for the door and opened it. He got to the other side and waited for Tomoya and the others to hurry up. The horde was starting to clear so he went and Pressed a button opening a door downstairs. "You stupid multi colored sarcastic asshole! Get in the building" he shouted as he shot some zombies off of Dash.
The nerd quickly got on board the plane, barely dodging an attack from a hunter...
As the place took off and Youmu pumped her fist, the screen lit up again:
All the 'Area 3' icons were lit up, and behind her some of the teleporters were also lighting up. She walked closer to them, ready to tell the 'units' what was going on. A flash of bright light knocked her off her feet. As her vision cleared and she stood up, the four teleporters were filled. The screen read:
"Welcome to the real world," Youmu said without any hint of irony.
ignore | |
"Sir, it seems the girl has teleported the survivors out of the game into this facility. What should we do?" a worker reported to James. "Tell the security to stop the cutting and secure the area for my arrival. I'm going to deal with them personally," James said with barely contained anger. He then stepped in the teleporter and vanished in a blue light.
Hiryu was the first to step out of the teleporter.
They've stopped melting through the door, Youmu noticed. Why have they stopped? They'll never get anywhere at this rate. She walked up to the rapidly-cooling oddly-shaped slot in the door and called out, "Hey, what's the hold-up? Suddenly decided you don't want to die young?" Someone tried to fire through the slot, but only one bullet from his entire clip went through. "Was that your best?" she taunted again. She heard a loud smack cutting off the first soldier's swearing, and someone else told him, "Don't let her rile you up. She'll get what's coming when the boss arrives..." Youmu went pale. Does he really have the powers he claimed to? she wondered. She walked over to Hiryu and the others to explain what she'd just heard, and what 'the boss' was meant to be capable of.
"Ken?...I've heard about him back on earth, this is bad..." Hiryu admitted as they and the guards outside waited.
Youmu shook her head. "I haven't looked around the room much," she admitted, "but it seems the only way out is the door and I locked it a bit too hard for us to escape that way. Besides, there's at least two soldiers out there and probably a lot more - they were trying to cut through the door just before. As for hiding spots, what good would they be?" She turned back to the last teleporter. "Unless...That one's used for leaving the room to go to other places. But it needs co-ordinates, and I don't know any...If you do, though, be my guest. Looks like it only has room for one person, too." She shook her head. "I'm planning for that to be a last resort. Though it looks like we'll already need it..."
Hiryu merely took out a cube and said "Soliders, I can handle...Formation S"
As the group from Dead Air started to run into the hallway, Youmu stayed behind. "What's wrong?" Hiryu asked her. "There's another group coming, and I'm not sure how long they'll be," she explained. "If I'm not here, they might get cut off, or run into someone they shouldn't..." "You can't defend this room any more with the door gone!" "And whose fault is it that the door's gone?" "Your cause won't protect you if you don't get out of here!" Hiryu left without waiting for an answer. Youmu still didn't follow him. Shit...What do I do now? Slowly turning around, it suddenly struck her. The computer needed co-ordinates for the four zones it's connected to. She ran back to it, checking what was there for the first group. Remembering to move a sixth teleporter to that zone so she could leave as well, she put the co-ordinates into the 'outgoing' box.
Before she had time to tell herself it was a bad idea, she stepped into the teleporter and, within an instant, disappeared from the room. The headache and unconsciousness didn't follow her entrance this time. In its place, though, was chaos. Everywhere there was noise, flashing lights, everything moving around. All she could make out was someone from another room, calling out to something next to her. She grabbed at it and started indiscriminately slicing ahead to clear a path. Whatever it was she was dragging, it was heavy, and as soon as she was in the other room she dropped it and fell against a wall, panting.
Hiryu began to race though the Factory, making short work of all attempts at capture.
