As soon as Tomoya was finished with loading his stuff, cleaning his katana and grabbing some extra ammo he walked to the radio and looked at it, it actually looked perfectly fine. Tomoya spoke into it, "Hello is anyone there...we'd like to get outta of this hell hole thanks" Tomoya waited for a response. He turned around and saw Youmu. "I reeeeally hope they heard tha-" Tomoya was saying before he got interrupted by the radio, "This is helicopter 1..." They spoke about how they're going to rescue them soon and to get ready. "Everyone get onto the roof and get ready!" Tomoya yelled as he grabbed a pipebomb and a cocktail.
Hiryu had just finished arming the auto Machine guns when he heard footsteps.
The Nerd continued roaming the rising dawn, and go lost in no time
Hiryu watched as the Gun tracked a rolling barrel and fired at it, it was out of ammo of course.
"You don't look like... oh forget it... I'll just ask Dillion what happened later... So, what have you guys been doing while I was out cold?"
"Great, now stop wasting the Ammo, we only have so much." Hiryu shouted over the Gunfire as he turned it off as the Nerd was firing.
Caim was estatic to find another weapon of mini mass destruction in his hands once again, and prepared himself for the battle ahead. Mini-gun in hand, and grenades in his pocket, he was ready to roll. Angelus couldn't help but smile at the display. "How old are you again, human?"
Shadow went up the stairs onto the mini platform with a gas can. He chucked it down below and told everyone to try tO shoot it when the horde gets close. He then went across a pipe and stationed himself on a close by building.
As the last man was ready a sudden horde cry was heard through out the rooftop. "Get ready, They are coming, and in numbers and power" Tomoya said as he carried his magnum and katana in his hands. Suddenly zombies spewed out of the hole in the roof caused by the elevator event, it was filled with common zombies, two smokers, a boomer and a hunter. Tomoya began to shoot the first zombies he spotted, "The rescue should come soon!" he announced.
Dillon took to the helm.
"Captian, How are we going to find them?, They are in another world to ours" Hiryu asked over the Radio.
Shadow shot the gascan as the first zombie reached it. He was looking for those special infected to strike.
Boss meandered around the Rising Dawn, looking for anyone else. He'd deduced that the people he was traveling with were no longer on the ship, and that Edge had followed them. That, in turn, probably meant they were in some sort of danger, or at least they were in more danger where they were than Boss was where he was. That being said, he wasn't getting the usual sense of dread he did when Edge (Or Rob, but that only happened once) was in danger, so he'd assumed they could handle themselves, and moved on to other things that he deemed necessary, starting with securing the ship he was on, or at least clarifying why he was left on it. After that he would figure out where the others were and receive further clarification. Hopefully. MEANWHILE... In Edge's...admittedly short experience, the only thing worse for your concentration than being thrown around an elevator was being stomped on by a bunch of zombies. Also, Edge hated zombies. Like, hatedthem. With a passion. It was the smell, y'see. He could stand being...around them, as long as they weren't attacking him or being around him, but having a bunch of them land right on top of him made him loose his freaking mind. "COCK-SUCKING MOTHERFUCKER!" Edge screamed, bursting out of the scrapped elevator, drawing his swords and striking down a number of zombies around him. "WHY ZOMBIES? WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE ZOMBIES! WHY NOT TERRORISTS, OR NAZIS, OR SOME UNSPEAKABLE ELDRICH HORROR? I CAN HANDLE UNSPEAKABLE ELDRICH HORRORS, BUT NOT FUCKING ZOMBIES!" Edge then realized he'd broken his cover. "'sup? I've been following you guys, y'know. But you didn't know, 'cause I was stealthy. 'cause I'm a ninja." MEANWHILE Boss suddenly felt a tingle of dread. "There it goes." he said aloud. "Must be zombies."
"Huh? Who's There?!" Hiryu exclaimed as he rotated a AA Launcher inwards and pointed it at Boss.
Boss looked backwards, then back to the person-who-was-clearly-a-ninja-but-sitting-on-a-cannon in front of him. "You're not gonna use that in here. You'd blow up the boat. Let's be civil about this. My name's Boss, and I was sleeping in the...the part of the ship you sleep on. Who're you?"
"If you were part of the crew, where were you for the past month?" Hiryu interrogated Boss.
"...sleeping." Boss said. "Was I really sleeping for a month? Odd. Not quite as odd as last time I woke up in the middle of nowhere, but still very odd. Anyway, just ask Dillion about me. He'll straighten things out. Maybe. I hope."
Youmu wasn't quite fast enough to nail the gas can or any of the special zombies, but that left her with more freedom to switch back to her katana if necessary. Then, all of a sudden, every zombie was gone. She started to try and slow her breathing, but then the tremors started again. From not too far away, she heard a loud, angry roar... It eventually pulled itself over a ledge and stood up to full height. She quickly pointed it out so they could all start shooting.
Hiryu made the call. | |
Boss nodded. "Good to meet you. Where is everyone?" MEANWHILE... Youmu pointed out the huge zombie. "Well this is just crap." Edge said. "Like, Matrix Revolutions level crap. Y' HEAR THAT YOU UNDEAD JERK!" Edge shouted to the giant zombie. "YOU ARE THE MOST UNSATISFYING CONCLUSION SINCE SMITH GOT OUT-VIRUSED! SUCK ON THAT!"
"Half of our Number has been trapped and we are going to free them. You ever hear of a man named Ken?" Hiryu replied as he limped off the Launcher and towards the bridge.
"Last I remember, we were fighting a guy named Rugal." Boss replied, following Hiryu. "And he got the crap lawyered out of him. So, short answer, no."
"Well, He was born with the power to create Nuclear Blasts by himself, is It would be for the best then that you didn't hear of him. Somehow, he managed to get control of this Realm and trapped us in a strange world filled with Zombies, our friends are still stuck there, so we are going to free them"
James had seen another person join the group and quickly thought of how to deal with it. "Tell the AI to spawn to quickly spawn another Tank and three more after the next wave of infected. After that ready the game teleporters for the white room in case they live and shut down all teleporters within this facility. Also start releasing the fuel mixture into the air of the facility in order to get the purge ready. You have your orders," James said as everybody quickly followed his orders.
After Tomoya was done stomping on two zombies he looked at Edge. "Hey were you on the ship sometime ago?" He asked but was quickly interrupted by a strong vibration, "Aww crap, here comes another one. Whoever is on the minigun has to shoot it when we throw these at it!" Tomoya said as he kicked the nearest zombie and raises a Molotov cocktail above his head.
"wait what? nuclear blasts?"
Shadow had just finished killing off a hunter when he saw Toyoma raise a molotov cocktail in the air. The tank rounded the corner only to get a face full of Molotov, the tank lit up like the fourth of July. Shadow looked at the tank on fire and thought that it would just die. But oohh nooo the tank had other plans, Shadow stared in horror as the tank started to charge towards his area. Shadow began cussing out Toyoma in English and Russian as he ran away from the now-on-fire tank.
"Damn that guy is suuuure unlucky" Tomoya shrugged on the top of the roof as he pulls out his machine gun as he shoots for the tanks head, hopefully before he smashes Shadow into fine meat chunks. "Whoever is on the bloody mini-gun fire on the damn tank!" He yelled out once more as he jumps off the building and re-equipped his katana and runs after the tank. Meanwhile the boomer, smokers and hunter where about to spring a trap onto the others.
Shadow jumped off a ledge right beside ladders onto a lower part of the roof. He kept running as he shot the tank he spotted Toyoma trailing the tank. He then noticed a propane tank. He grabbed the tank and ran to the side of the building and set it down. Shadow then yelled over to Toyoma "when the creature gets past the tank shoot it". He hoped it would be enough to force the tank off the building.
Tomoya nodded as he heard Shadow's echoed words from in front. He then slides to a halt and pulls out his magnum, he steadies the aim by breathing in and out out slowly, it seems like time moved slow at this moment. The tank passed the gas tank slightly, he takes the shot and the bullet flies through the air and it punctures the tank. In one second an explosion is heard and the tank flies off the building screaming it's demise. Then Tomoya jogs up to Shadow and pats him on the shoulder, "Good work" He says as they both run back to the building where the others had just finished dealing with the rest of the horde. And as the group gathered on the building they see the helicopter in the distance. "It's here!" Youmu yells with excitement, "Finally!" Shadow remarks, but as they walked down from the building's roof the ground shook with the force of a small Earthquake. Three tanks have appeared from nowhere. "Crap...we should run!" Tomoya says in surprise.
"No SHIT" Shadow said, he was already 5 steps behind the group running from the tanks.
The helicopter tried to swerve to stay away from the tanks, and Youmu couldn't follow the others quite fast enough. Behind her, the horde were advancing quickly. Oh, shit... she thought. I only have one option left...All to gain, nothing to lose. She raised her katana above her head and tensed up-- Just as one of the zombies took a swipe at her, she jumped at the helicopter, too fast for a human eye to track. She came to a complete stop right in the middle, and yelled in Japanese at the pilot to get moving. As it flew away from the hospital, everything started to fade to white...
As sweat drenched brow was swiped as Youmu jumped into the chopper as they flew away. "Good thing every got on in in time...but now is time to find the man who did this and the others" He said before everyone was consumed into the light. "I'm getting tired of this dimension thing, we better get back soon...I wonder what is happening to our world?" Tomoya asked himself as he was swept away from the light.
As the light faded, they found themselves in a plain white room, with only a few details marking that it was a room at all. As Shadow opened the door, the first thing Youmu noticed was the smell. "Does anyone else smell something weird?" she asked, sniffing a few times. "I don't know what this is, but it doesn't smell good..." Everyone else took a few sniffs as well, but Shadow was the only one with an answer. "It's petrol," he explained. "But why would we be able to smell petrol in here?" He thought for another second, then said, "Everyone start running. And don't stop." "Why's that?" the dragon asked. Shadow shook his head slowly. "This place is about to burn to the ground! Now move your asses!" he shouted, before leaving the room at a sprint himself. Everyone else quickly followed suit, though they split up - the pony followed Shadow, Caim and the dragon went in another direction, and a third corridor was chosen by Tomoya, then Youmu. "Sir, they've left the game," an underling told James. "Should we start the purge now?" "What do you think?" James snapped back. "Burn the bastards out!" The underling didn't need telling twice as he hit the button with his palm...

Youmu shook her head. "I don't think I'll be needing this for too long - we're stuck up on this roof, and we only have limited supplies...And if we do beat the odds and make it out, I'll mostly be using Roukan again." She went back down into the small shack where Tomoya was still fiddling with the radio.
