As the next pod opened, Caim opened his eyes to see that his partner laid next to him. After a moment of nearly choking and calming himself, as the dragon was still in her human form and scantily clad, he grinned and silently congratulated himself on the two's brilliance.
"I'll just have to keep this in mind next time we warp to another place... For that matter... Where are we?"
At the sound of her partner's thoughts, Angelus stirred, and woke to find Caim beginning to shake her shoulder,
"Wake up, dragon; and take this down, our plan worked!"
She smirked, and was about to give a response, when the following played overhead,"Welcome back, Infantryman C*%&, and Tactician A*&%#@!, your belongings are over here."
"Hmph, I can't stand these computers... Nevermind, just get some clothes on."
The two then climbed out of the pod and found two uniforms with different insignias. After they dressed, Caim let out an annoyed sigh, "Damn blade is missing again."
"Perhaps Sword and Comet will return. I rather liked those two..."

/defreezing cryo pod #3

A hissing sound filled Mokou's ears as she came to, and her eyes snapped open. This turned out to be a bad idea, as the room where she'd woken up was incredibly bright. Eventually she worked out that she was lying inside a cylinder, and the part she was facing was gradually becoming less and less blue. Then it suddenly opened, allowing her to sit up. As she did, a message played from somewhere:

"Kenpei-chui F#%@), okaeri-nasai. Mochi-mono wa sore."^* She looked over the side of the pod to find a locker opening. Inside was a strange black uniform with what she guessed was a 'military police' insignia. Suddenly realising that she wasn't wearing anything, she hurriedly put the uniform on, along with the earpiece and the watch. As she did, she noticed that most of her hair was gone - a military regulation or something. She still had her ribbon, at least.

As soon as she was decent, she looked around the room. There were five others already awake, and none of them looked familiar. All of them had different patches she couldn't tell what they meant. She was about to look for a way out when another pod hissed open.

Pointman looked at the men in confusion while they both just chatted away. He then went over to the door to open it but found that it opened itself automatically. He just about walked out the door before Toyoma yelled him back over saying to "stay together".

The first thing Mokou noticed about the blue-haired boy, besides his blue hair, was that he'd called out to the other man in English. She hadn't had to use it in a long time, but she could remember more than enough to get by. It was only after that that she started thinking about his command to stay as a group. You're not my boss, she thought. Besides, if we did stick together, you'd only get in my way. She didn't say any of it out loud, though, as she didn't think it necessary to open the topic for discussion.

Another thought suddenly crossed her mind: Is this uniform flammable? Without bothering to check if anyone else was watching, she extended her right hand under her left arm, opening her palm and willing a small fire into it. She held it there for a few seconds, dousing it when she was satisfied that the uniform wouldn't burn. Useful thing to know. Now if I have to burn something, I don't have to worry about being naked again...

"Another dimension, another problem" Tomoya sighed as he looked around the metal room, he checked the computerized watch and saw a note from "Command" which confused Tomoya. It read "Come to bridge", Tomoya was confused with this note, he then turned to everyone else.

"Okay everyone, I may not know all of you but it seems we need to go to the bridge of this...ship I'm guessing. So stick together, who knows what's out there and we have to find out what's going on" Tomoya announced as he blocked the door to get out until the last two pods are opened. He looked towards the girl, she had a familiar aura over her but he couldn't remember, but she can create fire. "Don't do that if we're in an area with gas or any other flammable crap. But otherwise that will be useful" Tomoya said to her as he flicked through the computer watch.

Another cryopod opened, this time containing The nerd.
As he steps out of the pod, he feels his knees weakening. As he tries to regain his strength, he sees some clothes with his belongings at a nearby table.
Welcome back Doctor J&%AH65 R#$&6. Your Belongings are over here.
"What did I do last night.... where Am I? Don't tell me I'm in Doug's house..."
As he dressed up, he saw his NES zapper, beside a power glove.
"Hey, this is awesome!The gloves fit my hand!"

He looks around to see if the others are there.

Pointman looked from the fire wielding woman to the last pod. He wondered who could be in it, or what powers they would have.

As soon as Tomoya warned Mokou about flammable gas, she immediately shot back, "I'm not stupid." She looked over at what he'd done with the door and continued, "How do you expect us to reach the bridge if you've locked the door?" He pointed out the last stasis pod and the person who'd come out of the second-to-last.

"I don't know what's out there," he admitted. "It'll be safer to move as a group. Safety in numbers, right?"

"Just don't get in the way. The uniforms may be fireproof--" Mokou showed off her arm again "--but they won't stop me toasting you." Having nothing else to say, she walked off towards the final pod, with a large red 7 painted on.

The corridor was dark, only lit up by backup lightning and the green dim from their watches. Metal clunks heard rang with every step they took, Tomoya was too busy try to figure out the lay out of the ship. But the map of the ship in their watches was malfunctioning, they walked through the corridor until they came to a heavy metal door.

"Someone was taking care of us" Tomoya spoke softly to the group as he opened the door.

A gasp was hard from Tomoya as he opened the door to the sci-fi looking hallway, "I don't know where we are but it must of been a lot more further in the future then we think" Tomoya spoke as he was first to lead into the hall. There were door leading to the same heavy metal looking corridor they just passed through, as they came to the end it said "Science Research Center" with big white letters on the wall.

Tomoya noticed Dillon looking at the Chief Science Officer's office but shook his head as he noticed Tomoya. As time passed they walked through multiple rooms, corridors and canteens until they finally got to the Bridge of the ship.

As they all entered the bridge thirsty, hungry and fatigued, everyone was dying for a rest. "Okay guys, we make base here. Feel free to look at around but if you find anything helpful bring it to me" Tomoya said as he walked to the big black seat that was obviously the Commanders.

Meanwhile.

As Snake exited the prison bay he entered a corridor then suddenly a announcement was heard overhead. "All important Personal please report to the bridge" it repeated it twice more after that.

Pointman took a seat watching the rest go about there business. He was going to eventually need a gun and he new it.

"So, you were the guys we rescued earlier right? who are you?
By the way, I'm the angry videogame nerd.... I play videogames..."
He looks around, searching for a certain someone.
"Where's hiryu?"

Mokou found an abandoned console and started tapping on it indiscriminately. She didn't know what she was looking for, but she'd know when she found it.

Tomoya spun in the chair and looked back at AVGN. "That's a pretty long name there...and yeah pretty you rescued us. As for Hiryu...well it seems he is fortunate enough that he has not appeared in this dimension, he's probably back home" He says to the AVGN. Tomoya then jumped off the chair and got everyone's attention.

"For everyone who doesn't know me, I am Tomoya Okazaki. Archangel of Lightning and Guardian of Earth. It would probably be good if you introduce yourselves to each other while I dig around" Tomoya said as he hopped back onto the seat and let the others do their thing.

Meanwhile.

The computer showed Mokou the previous crew, but most of the names where wiped out. She had found there was a contamination on board somehow, also she found a map of the ship which could be transfered to her watch and everyone else's.

Pointman still sat there... just watching. He heard the Archangel say " It would probably be good if you introduce yourselves to each other while I dig around". Pointman new eventually he was going to have to explain he was mute, and he would rather do it now rather than in the middle of a fight. Pointman could clearly see who was going to be the leader this group Tomoya. He got up figuring it would be best to tell him first. He looked around for a bit to find something to write on, he didnt find any paper but he did find a textlog. As he looked at it he could tell it was based like a keyboard, push the key and the letter would pop up, type a word and then a sentence. Pointman pushed some of the keys on the textlog and wrote "I am mute" on the textlog. He then proceeded to walk up to Toyoma and give him the textlog.

"Hmm mute eh?" Tomoya asked, which lead pointman to nod slowly. As soon as Pointman did that Tomoya then looked around in his computer and found something, "I do believe there is a message system on these computerized watches, that's how I get news back on Earth." Tomoya said fiddling with the watch.

A second later a message on Pointman's watch came up saying "See everyone can use the communicator or messenger depending on which situation", then Tomoya said once more, "why would the people before us need such a feature?" Tomoya pondered to himself. "Its good to explore new technology...wait a sec" He said to pointman. "Hey everyone, these computer watches have both a communicator feature and a message feature" He said out loud before turning back to the Commander's computer.

"Might want to introduce yourself to everyone then" Tomoya said to Pointman as he kept focus.

Pointman nodded and then turned away from Tomoya. He then went over to the Angry nerd and introduced himself by handing the same textlog to him.

"hi there... so, what do you do pointman?"
The nerd asked. while looking at him from head to toe.

As Mokou was transferring the map to everyone else, she heard Tomoya ask about introductions. She looked up from the console. "Just so you have something to call me," she started, "I'm Mokou, formerly of the Fujiwara clan." Having introduced herself, she looked back down. None of the crew's names were familiar to her as she scrolled down the list. But then a heading surprised her.

PRISON BAY

This ship was transporting prisoners? she thought. And some of them are marked as still alive...

Snake soon found the other Cryo Pods and several sets of missing uniforms.
"Major, I think I found the Crew, they were in the same type of Cyro Pod as me."
"I see. Just remember to not engage them in combat until you've found out their Alinement. If they are not with us, they're against us, Understand?"
"And if they are against us?"
"Do to them what you did to that Armoured Unit in the Peace Walker Event.
"uuuhhhh Which one?..."
"What?"
"Well, I took down three of them that day, which one did you mean?"
"Waitwaitwait, You took down 3 Armoured Vehicle Units, Alone, in 24 hours? The File only said one! How the hell did you manage that?!"
"So...it didn't say anything about the 3 Unmanned Weapons?..."
"....Sigint, Explain..."
"....errrrrr. Ah here's the full file, okay he took down a AVGP Grizzly Type APC, a T-72 Ural Combat Tank, The Prototype Pupa Amphibious AI attack craft, A Mi-24A Combat helicopter, The Chrysalis Vertical Takeoff and Landing AI attack craft and The Cocoon Elite AI attack craft."
"Yeah, had my trusty M16 with me..."
"Whoa,whoa,whoa,whoa, So you took down all those, In 24 Hours, using only an Assault Rifle?..."
"...Yes.......Major....Hello?....You still there?...."
Zero or the other AI's didn't Answer, He shrugged it off and followed down the same path as the rest of the group.

Tomoya gasped in glee as he found what he was looking for, it was an audio file. He decided to play it overhead so everyone can hear it, "Listen up this is a message from the previous Commander" Tomoya announced to everyone as he played it. "Hello this is Commander 0$W$#(#W@, if you are here you are the last survivors on this ship and our only hope...I only have a few minutes until //$#)!@* #($#(%& #@(#&328, all I can say is that the boy in the blue hair has to go to my room and everyone else should grab some weapons from the armory. That is where we placed your weapons from before...quickly before it starts again!"

Surprisingly it cuts off there and goes on to the next recording, "AARG, you mother#*%#* I'm taking you with me, WAAAA, only if I had obtained them from-#%((@&//" The transmission went on for a couple of seconds of screaming then it was cut off only leaving a computerized voice in it's place. "/Transmission ended, record #%) #%#% ago".

Tomoya turned to everyone else and said, "What do you guys want to do? I'm going to where he said I should go, I would go with his advice and find the weapons" Tomoya suggested and awaited for a response.

Meanwhile.

Naked Snake/Big Boss heard the transmission from above as well.

"The Armoury..." Snake repeated as he followed down the Hallway but turned away from the bridge and went towards it, hoping to find something of use.
He soon came to the outer door, Blast resistant, Only Access is a keypad.
Knowing the others would soon be here, he went with Plan B...

As Toyoma said to find weapons and head to the armory Pointman was sending a message through his computerized watches to everyone. "My name is Pointman and I'm mute" he turned back to the angry nerd and took the texlog. He then wrote something new on it and handed it back to him, it read " what are my skill assets or my background?".

The recording Tomoya found mentioned an armoury, and told him specifically to find it. Clearly, he was scared of going alone, and perhaps everyone else had come with weapons. But I still have the only one I need... Having found everything that wasn't classified or corrupted on the console, she suddenly noticed a text log on her watch:

"My name is Point Man, and I'm mute."

She looked over at the scruffy one, who turned, saw the message on her watch and nodded before turning back to the one in glasses. Mute, huh? she thought. Fine by me.

As Pointman was introducing himself he had one more thing to say as he pulled up a map of the ship up. "Also, this ship is separated in sections. I will say which they are from following the front of the ship to the back. Right now we're in the Officers Section where the Bridge, upper class canteen, Bar and I think other important rooms are right now. The sections after us is the Military section of the ship where the armory, canteen and soldiers barracks are. And after that is the engineering section where all the machinery and crap is and finally where we came from, the Science Research section which has all the science labs and stuff. Luckily for us there are trams connecting to these sections and are the quickest way to get to these sections...ugh" Tomoya said. He knew he had to go to the previous Commander's room at some point.

Caim lit up at the sound of an armory, and started dragging Angelus along to go find it. She quietly pointed out that they would need a copy of the map before they could get anywhere.

With a sheepish expression, Caim then turned to Tomoya,

"You think there's a way we could get a map for each of us? I mean, I don't know about the rest of you, but I want to speed on ahead to the armory. My sword's missing..."

"What are my skill assets or my background?"
The nerd read aloud.
"Well, I'm a video game and film reviewer, that's for one. That skill came in handy in the dimension we've been through, where we were stuck in a game. Who knows, the same will apply here. And I also have a NES zapper that can shoot lasers.... and this thing."
He showed his power glove to pointman.
"I haven't tested this yet, so I don't know what it does."

After the nerd had finished Pointman took the text log and wrote " well my background is long, so I will just tell you my abilities and skills". "First off, I have ultra fast reflexes, to me it just looks like time slows down but to you it looks like I speed up". "I am also very skilled in using guns and hand to hand combat". Pointman the turned from the nerd to Caim and walked up to him. Pointman wished to come along with him but decided to wait until Toyoma gave the map to them.

Tomoya got up from the seat about to visit the previous Commander's office by himself and it seems everyone is eager to get to the armory. He then saw Caim turn to him and ask about the map. "I do believe Mokou has transferred the map she has found onto your watches. Also It would be best to go in groups since well...this place, who knows what it holds...also keep in communication with the messenger and communicator on the watch too. Did I also mention that the audio recording spoke of our weapons being in the armory too, so keep a good eye out for your own weapons" Tomoya said as he turned around and started to look on the map on where the commander's room is. "I'm actually surprised Caim can talk now, I mean I heard his thoughts and voice before but it feels weird" Tomoya thought to himself.

Boss pulled his boot on, and strapped on the watch. He had been late to the party, as usual. The computer said he was a pilot, and Edge said he was an Infantryman.

"So should we head to the armory, or should we meet up with the others?" Edge said.

"No reason we can't do both." Boss said. "I'll teleport to the armory, make sure there aren't any surprises waiting for us, you meet up with the others, let them know we're alright. Sound good?"

Edge shrugged. "Works for-" A moment later he found himself standing in the bridge. "-uhh...howdy. Boss and I are here. Boss is OK, he went to the armory. Checking for traps."

MEANWHILE

Boss looked around. There didn't seem to be any traps, but there were a lot of guns, and a couple of boxes. Boss opened one up one; rations, spare ammunition. Nothing unexpected. Thinking he should be thorough, he opened the next and almost jumped back, shocked. "You..." Boss said, pointing. "I know you..."

2 minutes Earlier
Boss reached the Armoury.
"Yo Snake, This ain't hide and Seek man, This AIN'T Gonna work"
"Worked back then, Will Work now, Sigint..."
The AI grumbled as Boss made his way to the entance of the Armory.
After several wrong guesses, he managed to open it up.
Boss heard something, He looked over his shoulder and saw this:

"Huh...Just a Box..." He said to himself as he entered.
"...We're really the only people in the world of Spec Ops that passed grade school aren't we?..."
"What's a grade school?..." Snake asked Sigint, not knowing his signed off.
"Huh!?" Boss gasped as he looked at the box.
After several tense moments, He lifted up the box and so flabbergasted, so shocked, that the only thing he could do was point at the other person in shock.

"I know you..."

Snake put down the Playboy, Pulled uot his Mk.22 and asked "Are you one of the Rising Dawn?"

Boss's face split into a huge grin. "You're Big Boss! You're Snake Eater! Ican'tbelivewhatareyoudoinghere[1]! Thisisthemostawesomethingeverinthehistoryofever[2]!" Boss shook his head and took a deep breath. "Sorry. Got carried away. Yeah, I am. Boss is the name. Can...can I help you?"

Err, that just happened... Snake thought ti himself as despite all the reactions he has received over the years from basically everyone, That was a new one...
"You can start by not getting yourself so worked up, your no use to me dead, tell me the plans of the Crew of the Rising Dawn." He replied as he sat up and folded up his Box.
"The US want's to confirm that we aren't talking about another Terrorist Group with superpowers, god are they annoying..."

"Terrorists?" Boss said. "No! No! Who would think that? In fact, I'm pretty sure we've been fighting terrorist organizations, at least for as long as I've been on the crew." Boss thought back. "This may seem odd, but I don't think anyone here has any idea how we got on this ship. Do you?"

"This Ship? Ain't this yours? All I saw is the Prison Bay where I was put into somekind of Cyro Pod, spent 20 minutes listening to my Support Para-Medic go on about "Aliens" before I came here, Now tell me, Is this the Rising Dawn or not?"
Boss froze.
"...THEY ARE HERE TOO?! OH MY GOD! WHOAAA!"
"FOCUS! Is this the Rising Dawn?!"
