The man was acting quite funny, despite his head being huge and distracting of course. However, very oblivious to his behavior she simply replied to his excuse, "Okey dokie Big Headed Man!" Taokaka was even nice enough to hand him a cell phone- though she snatched it from a nearby table when the guy was talking to his wife. "Nywu know the Sweaty Lady as well?? Tao knows her, yet she went to use the bathroom far away from here.. embarrassed if she makes loud noises on the toilet Tao bets!" | |
"Hehe...Uhhh...Yeah, lets go with that..." Cortex said as he took the phone as his food came to his table. | |
Kagome was in the third row seat of the airplane, just in time to leave right then and there. Oddly, she felt her cell phone ring thus felt like it would be best to answer (besides, who else would call her unless it was important?) Kagome flipped the cell phone and answered, "Hello? Who is this?" She awaited for a reply. | |
"Queen, It's Cortex, Where are you? There is a bounty hunter here looking for you. The contract is public. Every two-bit hitman in the country is after you!" Cortex said, as a former FBI Most Wanted List Entry, He knew a thing or two about avoiding hit squads. | |
The last person she expected to contact her was Cortex. But, she was happy to hear from him in the least- since he still seemed to care about her of course. With that, Kagome replied, "Cortex, I am leaving Hawaii. I'm going somewhere even you whom I trust- cannot know about the given location. I'm going to meet up with someone.. they have valuable information that's even greater then Calypso's wish. Do not worry, I did not betray you for you're still linked to me. I'm just going to be father away is all." She could tell Cortex wouldn't be happy with this. Throughout the small time they had together, she did enjoy his company and admire his ambition even if he was silly and getting the worst of luck with skunks and so forth. To ease his worries, Kagome added, "As for the bounty hunter.. she's not even a threat. Look at her Cortex.. she was with me and easily dropped the subject even when my eyes flashed. She's better off at an amusement park-" The thoughts about the amusement park haunted her......... remembering back to that child who was dying but still walking like a mere soulless puppet, it crept back into her mind but Kagome shook it off and continued talking. ".. You may call me anytime, but if I do not pick up, then it means I am dealing with my fellow stranger. Please take care Cortex, you will have your terms given as promised. All you must do, is win the contest.. That is all." Soft tone at the end, she clicked the cell phone and hung up. Despite it being rude, Kagome looked outside in sorrow as she hoped everything was to be for the better. Leaving Cortex out of this would keep him safe after all. | |

As Tomoya waited for the waiter or waitress to come to him, he looked around and still saw Cortex by himself except on the phone and Puse and Kurumu talking to the unknown cat lady that was sitting next to them and eating all of their food. A soft sigh which both parties can hear flowed through the diner as the waitress noticed him. The waitress came over, "Hello hun, here is your order." She answered in a very American way. "Thanks." Tomoya said softly as he pulled out his wallet and poured out a 10 American bill and put it on the counter which the lady got. He then preceded to drink his Pepsi and start on his burger. After not being bothered any longer, Tomoya turned to Puse, "Hey Puse I didn't notice you and Kurumu here...also Cortex is just there..." Tomoya said as he turned around to Cortex, "Hi Cortex!" He yelled out before returning to Puse and such. "I also see a lovely lady here, may I be introduced?" Tomoya said smoothly to Puse, Kurumu and the unknown lady (Tao). | |
To Tomoya's surprise Dillon literally appeared in a seat nearby, there wasn't a flash or anything just one moment nothing next Dillon, and he was in his normal clothes the ring was still on his finger but the costume was gone. | |
"Likewise, Bounty Hunter, You have a name? a address? Any personal relations in a nearby area?" Cortex followed up, keen to get his Kitty Assassins with Laser Beams attached to their heads. Then Dillon Showed up. | |
"Well Drivers of The Rising Dawn, there is just one obstacle left between you and what your prize. I hope you can make it Dillon, I would just love a happy ending to all of this". "The Final Event will be in New York, in your own time". | |
Dillon did some math counting off the seconds, including the ones he took doing this, he happened to ignore Calypso as if the man who was clearly Satan wasn't hi biggest concern right now. | |

As Tomoya noticed Dillon quiet easily he looked at him. "Well I was getting a bit to eat before I head to New York...I also want to find out who that is." Tomoya said as he pointed to the unknown cat lady (Tao) sitting next to Puse and Kurumu. "Well now that we know were to go now. How do we get there...my ship is already orbiting the moon and I don't trust Calypso." Tomoya commented as he though how to head to the big apple. "And ideas?" He said to anyone. | |
"Guess once we're on the mainland, we drive..." Cortex said as he left the building to return to the ruins of his Juggernaut. | |
Before Calypso Announcement
With all the food gone, Taokaka patted her flat stomach in satisfaction only to hear the last part Tomoya was saying thus was bewildered by the question itself. She had to ask him, "Lovely lady? Who's the lovely lady- Mmuuaawhhhh~ The Nice Lady is the lovely lady?? .. But she's already with the Creepy Guy." Taokaka hissed a bit, scolding him despite what he really meant with that question.
"Hey, i'm a vigi-thingy not a... bounty hunter. I don't hunt the crunchy papers Big Header Man!" With such a response Cortex felt like a facepalm was not enough to cope with the stupidity of this cat girl. He felt perhaps examining her brain would explain a lot, yet still.. Kogame did say she wasn't a threat. He could see why now.
Yet again, the word 'Chrysalis' came up and Taokaka had to get out of her seat to see who was 'competing' with her in capturing the target. However Taokaka's mind wondered off when looking at Dillon thus she tilted her head side-to-side gazing at him. Dillon noticed this and before he could comment on her behavior, she smiled and said to him, "Your boobies are tiny. You should eat steamed buns. They'll make your breasts bigger!" Taokaka mistaken Dillon for a girl. | |

As Tomoya's face hit the desk out of hearing a blatant show of stupidity. Fact it actually reminded his best friend Sunohara, he was dumb as a brick that no one used. A sigh came from Tomoya as he quickly gave up replying back to the cat lady or Dillon and ate his lunch. "If anyone needs a lift you can come with. I got something to make the trip faster." He commented to anyone as he walked out onto the beach one more except he rolled his bike with him. As he got to the beach, Tomoya called the Blackhawke and told them to send his travel ship, the LightningHawke. As the BlackHawke sent the Lightninghawke to Earth, everyone saw a small looking ship land on the beach, it was the size of a small two story Convenience store. The legs extended out as it landed and it kicked up sand. Tomoya pulled out a key and pressed a button or two, the small cargo bay opened and the main door. As Tomoya rolled the Lightning Cutter inside and went into the cockpit it reminded him of the time it got blown up because of a malfunction. Good thing that got fixed last time the Blackhawke went to HQ. As the systems started up, Tomoya waited for anyone else. | |

Caim had already left the diner to check up on Angelus' condition. She had taken a few heavy hits from the rockets after all. In a jovial mood, for once, Caim walked outside to see the dragon and Kurumu talking quietly to one another. With a smile, and a pat on the dragon's nose; Caim did a quick look over; finding that any wounds the dragon had sustained were already healing quickly. "Calypso's given the next location. Are you going to be ready?" The dragon puffed out her chest; "You doubt me, Caim?" Holding up his hands in defeat, "Just checking. Oh!" Pulling out the PDA; Caim typed to Kurumu: After that, Caim collected Cadolbolg, mounted the dragon (who gave a polite good night to Kurumu); and flew off towards the Lightning Hawk. The two needed as much sleep as they could get. | |
Cortex locked in his Truck and awaited take off, Pulling out his notebook every now and again to take a note of Tomoya's Ship and plot his own designs from them. | |
As everyone (Meaning anyone that wanted a lift) got on board and locked there vehicles in the cargo area. Tomoya locked all the doors and the cargo bay as he pressed the buttons which caused the engine to come to life of all the sudden. Tomoya gave Angelus the choice to fly or to be moved into the small cargo hold. He took note of Tao the lady he doesn't know yet and Cortex with his notepad. He knew what he was doing but didn't care a single bit, he doubted he could clone either ships. The ship lifted off with everyone inside as started its travel to NY, it was night, so Tomoya decided to put it on autopilot to New York. He turned around from the cockpit to see everyone sitting down across from each other. "Okay, if anyone wants to sleep. There are sleeping areas and there is also a fully stocked kitchen, a bathroom and the cargo bay." Tomoya said as he got up and closed the door leading to the cockpit. The cockpit was quite large, there were cameras on the ship which came back to the cockpit, a pull out bunk and a mini fridge. Tomoya jumped on the bed as he pulled out the mic for the ships comm. "This is your captain speaking, we are currently on our way to New York, but to avoid military suspicion we are going slow enough to not be detected, so lay back relax and sleep. We are supposed to get there in the morning." Tomoya said as he ended the speech. | |
Cortex remembered how he shared this with Chrysalis not to long ago- that was the good times. Unlike most encounters, she was the first to actually make him appreciate company rather then tolerate it or otherwise. He shook the glass, looking into it and decided it would be best to taste the- "Big Headed Man!" Taokaka cried, Cortex almost nearly spilling his drink, but luckily he caught the end of it without spilling a drop. He gave her an angry stare, but she was oblivious nether the less. "Mmmhh.. that water looks, sooooo tasty~" How she got in here.. he didn't know. | |
As Tomoya put the mic for the comm away he opened the door once more to get something to eat. He saw the girl with the cat ears annoying Cortex with his wine. As Tomoya walked up to her he cleared his throat to get attention. "*Ahem* I am Tomoya Okazaki, Guardian of the stone of Light, your captain and the Archangel of Lightning. Nice to meet you Miss...uhh." Tomoya was stuttering since he didn't know her name. | |
Taokaka before fully taking hold of Cortex's glass of wine- turned to see a new face talking to her. At first she was silent, with a blank expression. Cortex was able to remove her hold, but Taokaka didn't take notice.. for she was staring at Tomoya for the longest minute now making things seem quite awkward. Finally, Taokaka shouted out "You're the one who's gonna take me out for...MEATBUNS!" Tomoya blinked at such a random statement, but before he could question her- Taokaka ran past taking hold of Tomoya's hand and led him away from Cortex. If anyone was watching Taokaka guiding Tomoya by holding his hand while they ran, they'd think it would be the cutest thing. However, Taokaka was running 50 miles per hour which Tomoya was almost being dragged by his ankles despite if he could run at that speed or not. Once they finally stopped, Taokaka took notice of how Tomoya seemed dizzy somewhat. She crotch down onto her knees and poked him a bit. "Is the Holy Man okay?! Tao's hungry~ so so hungry yes I am hungry!" | |
It seemed a foggy substance came out of Tomoya's mouth. "Uuuugh, Kitchen is fully stocked..." Tomoya said as he brushed himself off as he got up. "Follow me." He said as he grabbed her hand so she wouldn't wonder away and cause more chaos to anyone else. The two got to the kitchen safe and sound. The kitchen itself was like a regular military kitchen except it had no fridge. It had a weird looking machine which had a space fit for a head. "This is a...I have no idea what they called it...BUT. If you put your head inside your can get whatever you want inside." Tomoya said. He remembered her comment earlier and stuck his head in the space. A scanner passed over him and he waited a minute or two and a ding was heard. Tomoya pulled open the oven like machine and there was a plate full of meat buns. "Here." Tomoya said with a smile on his face as he offered the plate. | |
This was beyond Taokaka's understanding. The time it took to absorb what happened made Tomoya look to the side, then back to her nudging the plate while trying to keep a smile on. However, Taokaka walked past him despite the food he was offering- and placed both hands on the sides of the machine and felt all over. ".. .. Mmoowwaahhhhh..." She merely said to herself, as then she stuck her head into the machine. When the scanner went off, she popped her head out and hissed. "Hhaai~ It tried to beam those laser-lined thingies on me! Slice, mince, i'll break you!" She rose her paw up, for it to pop out three sharp metal nails then slam her paw down scratching the machine deeply. | |
A silent sigh came from Tomoya as she destroyed the food machine. "Well there goes all the food." Tomoya frowned as she came to look back at him. "You shouldn't do that before everyone tries to kill you over a lack of food." Tomoya said before he snapped his fingers and electricity surrounded the machine and started to make repairs. As it was doing that, Tomoya turned to Tao. "I still don't know your name?" Tomoya asked with a smile and a friendly yet playful tone. | |
Even though she understood what Tomoya was saying, the words that stood out in her mind were 'there goes all the food' and 'you shouldn't do that'. Feeling a pit in her stomach besides being hungry, her ears on the hood laid down and her head with it. She was staring at the ground, one paw against her mouth and the other loosely down. From Tomoya's point of view, it seemed like Taokaka was a child who just broke a lamp and caught red handed. "Holy Man.. Tao is sowwy, nwyu forgive me?" She looked up at him and clapped her paws together with a uprising emotion inside of her, yet her face so blank when saying it. "I promise to ask Holy Man first, every time Tao wants to do something~ Taokaka's a good kitty girl.." She went up to Tomoya and held his arm, snuggling against it like they were departed for weeks on end. | |
A sense of guilt came upon Tomoya as he had heard the girl talk like a little child. "it's no problem. I can do anything with electricity." Tomoya said as electricity came to gather around his body, coiling it around him like a snake created out of nothingness. A tingly sensation surrounded Tao too as it began to coil her too but slowly dissappeared. "Of course I forgive you, we only just met. And you can just call me Tomoya or something" Tomoya smirked with a bit of redness on his face. He then started to pat Tao's head, wondering what her reaction would be. | |
Being patted on the head was one of Taokaka's favorite things out of people, even from complete strangers. Her right ear twitched while despite having a overshadowed face- Taokaka began to blush herself. She gripped on Tomoya's arm more, closer now and had a ':3' expression on her face. They both enjoyed the moment until Taokaka admitted, "Tao felt a tingly-feeling and now she peed a bit..." Tomoya's face dropped the smile as he realized what his electric snake did. Though he couldn't see Taokaka's pants/undies because of how long her outfit was- he imagined how a girl would do that if they- no no he didn't want his mind to wonder there, he didn't want that kind of attention from Taokaka making her think he was a perv. Suddenly Taokaka sprung up and sat onto the kitchen's counter. "Is Holy Man bringing Tao and the others to Heaven??" | |
As Tao sat upon the table, Tomoya had cleared his throat. "Nope, I am here to protect this world and everyone on it. Which usually means get rid of the evil that lingers on this planet or universe. Another angel does that work...or Jack the Reaper." Tomoya said getting out of the awkward mood from before. "And why are you here? I heard you talking to the others about a bounty?" Tomoya asked Tao hoping to get out of that thought zone. | |
Once again, Taokaka's mind clicked thus she pulled the bounty poster right out of her pocket and held it to Tomoya's face which he had to adjust the view for himself. This is what he saw thus knew exactly why Taokaka was hunting Chrysalis down.
"Nywu heard about Tao's quest? I'm a vigi-thingy, going after the ugly insect and going to beat the crap out of it to get lots and lots of money for my village!!" She smiled and hugged the poster to her chest while kicking her legs like an excited teenage girl would who daydreams about whatever comes to mind. She looked at Tomoya and decided to ask him, "Does Holy Man kill evil? .. Isn't killing evil though? .. Tao thinks beating things up is better, for the bad people can change!" | |
"Well, it depends. If it's an evil person or human I tend to just beat them up too and send them with the Reaper. Doesn't mean I kill them though. If it's a monster or demon or something like that I tend to send them to Hell myself if you know what I mean." Tomoya said trying to sound good and the lesser of evils. "Also that insect you're talking about...never mind. We have meat buns to eat." Tomoya said as he pointed towards the meat buns he made earlier. | |
As much as Taokaka loved the suggestion of eating all the meat buns there were which she dug into before Tomoya could even grab one for himself- she still pondered about what the Holy Man said about bad guys and what he does with them. Being the curious cat she is (which goes with a saying 'curiosity killed the cat') she asked, "Nwyu send baddies to the rreaaalllyy bad place?? But~ isn't ... that worse?! Tao thinks being in fire and being poked at forever isn't very nice... especially if Holy Man sent me there." She started to make faces, from scruffy expressions to worrisome ones. She stuffed her face while her tail curled around the plate making sure she had enough for herself. | |

Cortex was taken off guard by this, Chrysalis was being hunted? By Whom? It must've been someone from her past for sure.

"Oh...I was referiiinnnnggg tttoooooooo....Ray Bradbury's Chrysalis. It was a movie on last night. Sorry, I haven't seen the person...or thing in that Poster." Cortex answered after struggling to remember the name of that film.
"Sorry, just does this place have a Phone? I need to call Kagome..." He asked the group.
