Blade rolled his eyes as he saw Genki walking about the ship. Jenny decided to make her way back to her room, after the Luna Scare, the Fear Factor and the battle itself, she was wreaked and needed rest.
The dragon gave a light chuckle, and said, "You and Caim both. Speaking of which..." She indicated to Caim, "I do believe you two have met?"
Blade became Genki's Shadow as he looked around the Steampunk/Modern Tech Battleship.
Caim gave a little nod to Duke, and heaved a sigh once Duke began to ask about his lack of speech. Angelus said nothing, and only hid her smile at Duke's futile efforts to encourage Caim to talk. Finally, the mute stuck out his tongue, pulled out the PDA and typed, "Ever heard of a pact? My voice was the price for it. Thus, I am unable to speak."
Retracting his tongue, Caim typed further,
Blade soon arrived and said to the group "Alright people, We're heading to Moscow Next to fight something called Liseth, Ship should get us there in a few hours, I'd make the most of the time we have, get rested up and hopefully, this will be an easy one.".
Caim's thoughts were spoken by the dragon as they walked after Blade, "So, this Liseth.. What is it exactly? Furthermore, what kind of place is this Moscow?"
Red was in the shadows when he heard the news, "Moscow, that's my hometown." "Then it will certainly be interesting to see it be destroyed." Alice was silent. Red tucked his hat so it covered his eyes and headed toward the Canteen, for he had no room aboard this vessel.
"It's Cold, unpleasant and everybody's Russian."
"Well from what the news is saying, it's specialises in Ice Magic so You should have the Type advantage. As for Moscow, Think it's the capital of Russia, but that's about all I know..." Blade admitted.
Jenny meanwhile had a shower to wash the sweat from the Fear Factor off.
Caim only smiled and typed, As the warrior wandered off, Angelus gave a small nod in Caim's direction, and added to Blade and Dillon, "Thank you, both of you. With all of these various elementals we've been dealing with, Caim and I like to stay prepared."
"Least I can do, You've helped me and Jenny more times then I can count." Blade replied before heading to the bridge to set the course to the City.
"Blade, The Intercom is the white button on the central panel, press it once to turn it on, again to turn it off, Ok?..." Dillon smirked at Blade's lack of knowledge of the ship's controls.
Angelus wandered about the plane, and decided to head to the Canteen. If there was one thing she constantly felt as a human, it was hungry. --- Caim wandered the armory carefully, looking between each weapon with careful consideration. It was not as easy to find the fire-based weapons as he thought...
After a few minutes of awkwardly hearing Aftan's thoughts, "Personal" ones, Jenny left her room and met up with Angelus and Red Mage in the Canteen.
Angelus, who had been feasting upon a raw hunk of meat (animal of origin, unknown), looked up and licked away the excess blood. "It's quite simple, really. From my youth till now, I have constantly fallen into strife; be it humans, other dragons or anything else. You are lucky to be from a realm that knew peace. Compared to the time in my realm, this is nothing. We actually get breaks."
Jenny munched on her salad and said "I guess if all you knew was war..." Meanwhile
Angelus only laughed as Jenny flailed with her sentence. "If I was any younger, I would probably tell you that you were correct. Ha ha ha... Ah... I do know a few things besides war. However, humans constantly surprise me. After 5 millennia, you would think nothing could make you so much as bat an eyelid..."
Jenny thought back to the man behind all this, all this pain, all the destruction.
Angelus shook her head and took another bite of the meat, thought playing over her face. She swallowed, and spoke again, "I am not the best to ask. I do not know this man personally, but I think the Archangel and Dillon are familiar with him... Furthermore, there are a select few willing to hurt many. Caim is one of them. Ken is another. However, we judge them differently based upon their goals. Interesting how that works, eh?"
Jenny did know of Caim's fondness for battle. Blade soon entered after Scouting the place for Genki, he got a bad Vibe from that one.
Red Mage leaned back in his chair and nibbled absently on a piece of roast venison, Ken, he's the one behind this? What the mage in red remembered of the man was that he was a hulking brute too caught up in his own power and grandeur to realize what harm to the world he was doing. The fight against him was mostly Tabitha and Alice's so he could only recall the few tidbits the girls had imparted on him as they traveled. Red hid his eyes from the others and listened carefully to the conversations. It would take effort to piece together what happened from the fragments scattered across each person. Yet the Canteen would be a focal point, all people came here to eat. Here Red could survey them all and figure out what happened and what to do. He tore another piece of venison off with his teeth and listened, he listened to the conversations of the women and men, he listened to the footsteps of the people in the hall. He heard everything, even the faint warbling of BlackHarte as he worked within the walls of the ship, changing the infrastructure to suit RM's needs.
Angelus chuckled again, this time at both of the Pokemon, "No, he would not. However, if you consider revenge selfish, he's the greediest man I've ever known. Armies fell to his sword under an allied banner of revenge and protection. But enough about morality. I cannot believe I even brought it up. Apologies.." Speaking of the devil, Caim had arrived, and the dragon received a little tidbit about his readiness for the coming battle. "A mace and an ax? It has been some time since I've seen you using those." "The situation calls for it. If it's fire we want, I have fire to deliver." "Good." Angelus ripped a piece of the meat from the rather large flank she was tearing into, and roasted it with her fire. Grabbing a spare plate, she placed the meat upon it and handed it to her pact mate. "Go on, you'll be needing it." Caim gave his mute thanks, and joined the group as well. With a free hand, he typed,
"Fear wave?..." Blade asked with a full mouth.
Angelus only smiled at the two Pokemon. The pheromones were thick in her nose, but she did not mind. It was nice to see something functioning properly in this chaotic world. "I will admit it was disconcerting, but nothing worse than what myself and Caim faced before." Caim repressed a small snort, and continued to eat.
Once their misty eyed moment was over, Blade spoke up.
*Cadolbolg waved to everyone as he fluttered into the canteen with a beaked smile on his face. While he had not done any sort of damage to Alperer, he was glad that the didn't have to destroy the giant dam, an act of doing nothing that saved a few small towns located in the valley of Alperer's demise.* *Cadolbolg landed on Jenny's shoulder and gave her a quick nuzzle before she noticed a change in his eyes. When Cadolbolg opened his mouth to speak, it was not Cadolbolg that spoke but Arnal, Aftan's father.* "Pardon me, Miss Jenny, but would it be possible for us to speak in private? I fear that I must ask a favor of you."*Arnal's question was whispered in Jenny's ear before Cadolbolg's body fluttered out of the room, waving to everyone as he left.*
*Puce and Kurumu wandered the halls, looking for Dillon at Kurumu's insistence. She wanted Puce to apologize for hitting Dillon earlier. It was uncalled for, especially from the man that Kurumu considered her Mate of Fate.* "Kuru. Do I have to? I mean, the score should be settled by now. I don't need to even talk to him again, right?"*Puce asked.* "Puce... we're back in the team. The best thing for us to do is to get along with the others. Look, I was trapped to, but do you see me giving him any grief? He lost a loved one. I'd expect you to be as fanatical in getting me back as Dillon... well maybe not that much but fanatical none the less."*The Succubus responded as they finally found Dillon.* *Puce coughed loudly, enough to catch Dillon's attention.* "Hello, Dillon."*Puce said a bit coldly.* *Aftan was in her room, meditating as normal. However, the normal peace that she found was broken be images breaking through to the surface of her mind.* *These images were of her youth. Of days that were spent happily with her Gabrielle. Of days that were full of plans once they became Knights. Of the accident and Gabrielle's subsequent resignation of her position as a Knight. She felt betrayed at the memory of the Knight Masters as well as her Father placing a mental block that made her forget everything. She felt that being a Knight was no longer worth anything due to this betrayal. She felt lost as she the repressed depression hit her like a brick.* *Tears streamed down Aftan's face, he will to fight the remainder of this battle was sapped from her as she pulled out one of her Shrieker Pistols and placed it against her temple.*
Caim only smiled, and muttered with silent lips, "Liar" as he ate. She gave a light wave as her son quickly entered and exited the room.
Jenny nodded and followed Cadolbolg out of the Canteen.
"Amen to that, Amen to that..." Blade repeated as he watched Jenny leave all of a sudden.
Dillon turned to puce he had changed out of combat gear
*Arnal spoke with his mind, opening it to the telepath, not wanting a single word or intention to be misunderstood.* "I apologize for asking you to do this but I believe that the mental block that the Master Knights placed in Aftan's mind have been broken. I passed by her room and felt a surge of emotions, particularly feelings of betrayal and sadness. Sadness because the Masters felt that it would be best to tell her that Gabrielle, her love, died in the field. I feel that this surge of emotions is dangerous and Aftan will be drastically affected by it."*Arnal said as they arrived at Aftan's door.* "I understand if you are hesitant but I feel that it must be done." *As Arnal said this, Jenny felt Aftan's emotions and saw what Aftan was planning.*
*Dillon's admission, one that contracted starkly against the asshole that Puce had framed Dillon to be, caught him off guard. The admission that Dillon was human and made a mistake, however grievous Puce made it out to be, was huge in Puce's mind.* "Dillon... I understand why you did it. Since... well... since my village was destroyed, I've been trying non-stop to restore Kurumu's body back to the way it was before I made my mistake. I'm sorry that I punched you. It was uncalled for when words... such as these... would make thing better. I know how you felt back then because I have felt those same emotions as well. I forgive you... but please understand that it may take a while for me to forget about your actions."*Puce said, horking his emotions all over Dillon.* "However, I think you're making a mistake hanging up your guns and swords."
Jenny froze for a moment at her intentions before opening the door and seeing the Knight reduced to a crying wreak with her gun pressed to her head.
*Aftan paused for a moment, her finger resting on the trigger. The creat... Jenny... was trying to save her? The same Jenny who Aftan had threatened with death number of times. The same Jenny that Aftan had treated as if she was nothing, the same way Aftan felt now. Aftan's turmoil demanded that she just get it over with, but something else... maybe honor, maybe a softness that no one had seen in the last 4 years... told her to listen.* "You have caught me in a slightly inopportune moment, but, I will forgive you for that, if you tell me..."
Dillon suddenly looked around, he got up and slowly walked away

"Well I was invited here by the Gecko-Ninja there. I'm here to kick Demon ass and find out who released these things in the first place. Only I get to trash LA!"
Duke lit another Cigar.
"So Blade, are what are you? Alien? Mutant? Evolved from lizards?"
Genki meanwhile was still looking around.
