An explosion like that will take out everything. It's at least the size of a nuke, according to the first AVP film.

Hmm... We'll just make it a "weak bomb".

IC explanation is that the preds knew there might be tight-quarters combat, so they equipped themselves with devices that wouldn't kill all their comrades if they went off.

Daniele heard the beeping and began to run. she knew the station like the back of her hand. quickly aking her way tothe ship that had just docked. running inside of it, she hit a button.
A voice came over the speakers. "Xeno morph infestation detected. Initializing neutralization sequences, non-leathal order confirmed. Auto pilot activated.

A gas was sprayed and Kiriin's sense were over loaed. she hissed out in pain as the doors closed, everything fading to black."

A Face appeared on one of the screens in the cabin. "She's smart, we'll o the experiments on her. A carrier too... welcome to the family." he said and the screen flickered off as the shuttle undocked.

I agree with this.

Keep OOC in OOC thread.

Airiik slithered around Kiriin. He was a Chestburster now.

Hawk watched as the creature that had burst out of his chest scuttle away. He felt saddened to know that deep within the station was a Queen, a creature that he had longed to kill, whose skull would have made fine trophy. These were his thoughts as his breathing began to slow.

Forward Hull

A deafening blast blew Hawk apart, sending heat and radiation in all directions. Blood and viscera hit sprayed the interior, while flame shot out into space. Frayed wires and melted actuators opened into the breach. Shrapnel bounced away from the walls. Molten metal dripped. Flaps of black chitin and hung loosely around, oozing acid.

Hardware Storage
As the youngblood patched his comrade, they communicated in predator sign language. Astonishingly, Aztec's locator came back online. He was moving down Transport Passageway 2, into the Metro Hub.

Edited-ignore.

IGNORE MAH!

Turboshaft
in the elevator, walls were rushing by. Each level passed, small modules followed by the solid metal of deck plates, faster and faster until they began to blur together. And then, just as it seemed to reach top speed, it began slowing down again. But something had changed. The rushing darkness was now flecked with lights, streaking up as the turbolift rushed down. The lights opened into the transport railways.

Sgt. James Wilson approached the synthetics as they dragged away the aliens, flamethrower in hand. "You're actually going to try to experiment on those things?" he whispered, "after what they just did?" he said, pointing at the remans of the scientist. "Stand aside, do not interfere," the synthetics say. Grumbling, James steps to the side, allowing the synthetics to continue. "I swear to christ, those things get loose again and I'm frying them." James shook his head, he had to get to the metro. Flipping his flamethrower's safety into the on position, he began to dash towards it.

Volt crashes his fist into a WV solderer, smashing him into the wall.

"No...no, no, NO-"

SLIK

Brain matter and blood covers the room as Volt removes the skulls of the seven dead humans on the floor.

"We should find Aztec." he says to his comrade.

Transport Passageway 1

The next fifteen minutes were like slow-motion as the two predators moved cloaked down a series of narrow ramps, and into a maintenance shaft to the lower level. With the locator's guidance, they plunged into the Metro railway. Ghost was a young blood, close to a child. The other was bloodied but up on his feet, running around. After moving down the passageway without encountering anything, Ghost was starting to grow fatigued of the tension. Each time they came to a new intersection or connection, he tensed up, expecting to hear the familiar howl of alien warriors.

They soon homed in on the locator signal. It was an arched room dominated by an elongated, rail-mounted structure, and around it were airlock doors. A train. But one of the doors had been burned open by what appeared to be an energy weapon of some sort.

At that moment, the turbolift finally came down. It shot downwards, away from danger, and the men's knees almost buckled from the relief. A data stream kept flowing, compiling names and identification numbers, while relaying instructions to manually operate the Metro and proceed across the station to Habitat Control for rescue.

There was a quick flash of light as Amp appeared next to volt. "Teleporter problems..." she said and did a quick scan of the room. "Not that impressive but still amusing. Yes we should." Amp relplied.

"Son of a bitch," James swore as he screeched to a halt in front of the elevator. It had already departed. "Great, just freaking great, now I have to wait until another one comes up." James sighed softly when he heard something metal clang. Stiffening, he looked up. It had come from above. Without warning, an alien dove at him from the ceiling. Flipping off his safety, James raised his flame throwing and fired. He hit the alien dead on, the body falling to the ground. "More will be coming," James muttered, "and I'm all on my own...this might get me killed." Looking around, he saw half of an SMG lying on the ground. Picking it up, he slid it into the elevator door and groaned as he began to pry. With sever effort, he was able to wedge the door open and fit his hands inside and forced the elevator open. "Right," he said, looking at the cables dangling in front of him. Letting his flame thrower be supported by the leather straps attached to his armor, James took a deep breath and jumped forward, grabbing onto one of the cables as he did. "Hope no one decides to come up," he muttered as he began to inch down. "God I can feel the bullseye on my head."

"Come on." he tells Amp, and leads the way to his signal.

Grim

The patching that Ghost did to the rest of his wounds did some wonders in his efforts. Although his left eye was still torn asunder from the Xeno, the Biomask still functioned. With his plasma launcher set, he carried onward with Ghost at his side.

Grim raised his wrist computer to see two other Predators had joined the fight. He wished them luck in his head and he had hoped that he would meet them soon. He bent his arm back but felt the burn of several acid wounds ache as he did so. He thought back to the Xeno that he fought. Never in his hunts had he witnessed the ferocity of one like that. He cursed to himself, wishing that he had taken its skull and not plastered the walls with it.

He patted Ghost on the shoulder and using Predator Sign language he asked how far it was to Aztec's signal.

Amp was following when she head the distinct banging of metal. "Hang on Volt, I hear something." She said ad led him over to an open elevator shaft. A quick glace up the shaft an she noticed a human climbing down towards them. "Hehe.."
Amp took hold of the wire and shook it violently, before cutting it. The wire swang freely in the shaft. a simple smirk was all that came to her face. "Ok... I've had my fun lets go."

Volt lets out a low growl at his partner's sadism. "Lets just find...wait, who's there?"

Volt runs ahead, and finds Grim and Ghost. "You two..."

"The Fuck!?" James swore loudly as the cable that he was holding onto began to shake violently. Glancing down, he saw..."oh fuck," he said, his face going white. He had heard about Predators, but he had never actually seen one before...and now one was ringing the elevator cable like it was a rattle. Just then, the creature reached out with it's wrist blade, aiming to cut the cable. Glancing around furiously, James remembered that it was standard procedure for elevators to have multiple cables in case one failed. Without thinking, James jumped towards a nearby cable as the one that he had just been on snapped. His hands burning, he desperately hung on, looking down with fixed eyes, hoping that the Predator would go away before he continued his descent.

Amp followed Volt to Grim ad Ghost. "Lighten up, a hunt is a hunt no matter the participents. Besides, humans mae terrible trophies, nothing of use on them." She sai tapping her armor.

"Hmmph. Shocker would disagree." Volt grumbles back to her, recalling their clan-brother, killed on earth by a human called "Dutch".

James sighed in relief as the Predator walked away and continued to inch down. Curiosity getting the better of him, he stopped as he passed the door that the Predator had disappeared into a looked in. He felt his stomach drop. "F-f-f-f-four of them?" he whispered.

"Shocker was reckless and over confident. Lets focus on the hunt, i want new leg plates and the queen's will do just fine." She turned her head and saw the Human dangleing. "Don't touch him. He's mine." She said and walked over to him. The word "Peace." played through her helmet.

Volt ignores her and asks Grim "What happened to you?" in a mocking, condescending voice.

"Oh son of a Bitch!" James shouted as one of the Predators approached him. Hastily drawing his pistol, he aimed and fired off five shots.

Two of the bullets dent her chest armor and the rest miss. Amp lunges forward and takes advantage of his disposition. She grabbs him, holding him out in the open shaft. She flipped open the wrist computer with her free hand an set up a translator using the stations files. "Can you understand me?" she asked the marine.
