Cutter left her room no point being lonely right.
Pleased for him, Richardson got up and shook Pink by the hand. "I look forward to working with you in the future. You seem to be a very thorough leader so I hope you don't make the same mistakes that Ripper did". He holstered the pistol to punctuate his sentence. "I have matters to attend to, so I shall leave you all to it". He slowly walks off. As he gets to the clearing, he clicks his fingers and a VTOL descends. He jumps into the craft and sits looking at the pilot "Get me back to the Lab". The VTOL lifts up and flies off.
Zeph nods respectfully at Rugal. "Thank you," he stated before Rugal left. Down to business, then. Zeph pulled out his laser pistol from his holster and set the bionic arm to half charge, to allow him more mobility but still be able to take on whatever monsters there were close at hand. Zeph switched on invisibility mode and switched on the flashlight from his gun. A little bit counterintuitive, he knew, but those monsters that relied on sight would probably not be able to place his position well enough to be able to strike effectively. Zeph analyzed the holes, seeing if they were large enough to crawl through.
"Who? Me? Mostly Heavy Lifting and Attacking, See, I can use my Ki Energy to create projectiles and give my attacks a slashing effect, check it out..." The Hole is plenty large enough to crawl though.
Red-0 finished with what she needed to do and headed downstairs, seeing Rugal showing off in the living room and feeling the need to clarify something. She ended up behind him. "Don't forget to mention lying in your own blood," Red added 'helpfully'.
Zeph snapped out of whatever confusion he was in. He crawled through the holes in both doors, pistol at the ready. He first looked to see if he could find a light source, which accomplishes the dual purpose of charging his invisibility field and allowing him to see the monsters. He was ready. Time to go explorin'.
"Hockey? Don't know, but look at this shit, it was playing earlier,"Joey switched on the recording of the prison break news report,"Pretty damn cool to not be on the news wanted only for murder for once." He watched Rugal's display and lamented the loss of a coaster,"Cool, you guys got a bar around this place or what?I'm thirsty and I'm aching for some of the old stuff.Which sorry bastard owned this house before you guys 'borrowed' it from him anyway?"
"It's interesting. "So are there any jobs lined up?
Rugal had a humiliated look on his face. There was no light at all in the lab aside from the vials.
"Glad to help," Red-0 replied. Turning to Cutter, she nodded, looking over to Rugal to see if she should go as well.
NOTE: duly noted. Silent tripwire? Zeph cautiously made his way over to the vials... interesting. A bioluminescent substance? Dinoflagellates? Possibly. This required further study. Zeph realized that he could manufacture lighting to this place if only he could replicate the substance. He grabbed it and went to leave, realizing that being alone in the dark was not exactly the best place to be with a fragile vial of stuff that he didn't know what it was. In order to pick up the substance, he dialed back the rating of his bionic arm in order to carry it, also giving a layer of protection in case the solution was extremely acidic or basic, or if it had some other kind of toxic element. As he turned around, he encountered the first monster. What he had thought he might have been up against paled in comparison to the general monstrosity of this creature. He shot it several times with his laser pistol, each time burning a hole about .5-1 inches wide in the hulk of the massive beast. He started panicking a bit, but his rational mind allowed him to calm down at least to sustainable levels.
The Monster soon rushed Zeph and tackled him into the water as another figure showed up behind him with a Green Needle in hand.
both he and the monster where at least 10 feet high and had the power to back it up.
"It's just a few medical points."
Red-0 tried to respond quietly to Cutter. "I see. What do these problems require?" Red-0 presumed that Cutter wasn't simply referring to the obvious medical issue.
"You mean the urrrahhhhh...." Rugal said, referring the stump in an awkward manner.
Zeph had still been able to hold onto his pistol, thankfully, but the vial with the interesting liquid had not stayed in his grip. Rather than keep it on hand, and risk the possible toxicity, he threw it at the figure in white. The trajectory, as it was going ,was right on track to hit him. He quickly identified the weak points of the monster. No living being, no matter how monstrous, cannot and never will be able to function with a busted-up muscle. Since the head was either thicker, more resilient, or less important than he had thought, Zeph aimed to sever the muscle in the blade-hand and fired several times. He figured that the creature would pin him down with its right arm and sever his arm, head, whatever with its left. Interestingly enough, his bionic arm was in the position to get that monster's oversized arm off of him. He charged it up, and that's what he attempted to do with the bionic arm, attempting to push the beast directly off of him.
The Vial hit the Man in white, it was a harmless chemical, He finished locking the lab down. The Bionic blow sent the beast back only for it to soon get back up and go on the offensive again, missing as Zeph was invisible.
The locking of the door was regrettable. He would just have to force his way out with his bionic arm later. The laser pistol could also come in handy. Zeph again charged and swung his bionic arm at his hulking foe, sure it would connect because it was hard not to miss a creature that tall. He wasn't sure on the status of the sharp-looking blade arm, so he avoided it. Zeph also realized that, whoever this figure was, he was probably human and most certainly controlled this monster. If he could capture the man, then he was sure to be able to get out.
"No! I don't! The stump isn't a fucking problem thank you very much.
The Man in white, who was the same size as the Monster, began to walk over towards where he thought Zeph would be. The Bionic Arm hit the monster's Jaw and he replied with a swing of his massive Claws, Which Zeph blocked with his arm. "Whoa! Ummm Sorry, Didn't know about that, so uh what kind of meds do you need?" Rugal said.
Zeph realized that this man was nothing if patient. And that was the scariest thing of all. He decided to duck down and slowly back up. If the man noticed this movement, then he was using hearing, and sight would no longer matter. He would open fire with his pistol at that point.
"Yeah, Blondie, I probably should've mentioned her... peculiarities earlier, but it's so much fun to see her go off on someone." He bent down and found some a decent brand of scotch,"Nothing I can do for her, we found that out the hard way.If it wasn't for my powers, I'd be missing more parts of me than I am now." Joey sat back down on the couch, and began sipping his drink,"And Cutter, please don't excite yourself anymore than you already have, you're not completely healed."
The Man in White turned and stared Zeph in the eyes before reaching to grab him as the Monster got back up.
Oh gosh, Zeph hoped this had better work. Zeph would take advantage of the momentary lull in activity by the two to run past the man in white, crawl through the holes, reach the door, hopefully punching through the relatively thin metal in comparison to his strong bionic arm. Whatever the material was that was in that vial would have to wait. He would be back.
The laser shots had zero effect on the man, who on a closer look was not a man at all and his white clothing was some kind of armour.
Zeph knew that this was the end. But he realized something. Had the creature ever performed an aggressive action against him? Had the man done that as well? Oh god, what if he'd totally misjudged them. What if they weren't monsters at all, but were just trying to survive in this dark basement? "Wait,"Zeph stated, hoping for a pause in the man. "I'm sorry.
The "Man" who seemed confused Paused then looked to his Parter who gave an expression that was akin to "I dunno". Zeph awoke on a table in a rusted room with a flickering light overhead.
"Shit." That light would have enough electronics for him to make a detonator, and the TV, well the TV might be able to be a light explosive. He'd have to see. But first, to get out of these restraints. He decided he would keep the arm with him because, at the very least, it would add more force to his blows if he swung it around. The restraints. Hm. The restraints. Well, luckily enough, he still had his invisibility button and his signal jammer/transponder (I believe that's the correct term). He lifted his head, which was without restraint, and hit the button on his left arm that sent out a frequency to hopefully break the lightbulb above his head. Freedom from these restraints was a great reward compared to the darkness that was about to follow.
The Light broke and some broken glass fell onto Zeph's Face. The "Man" from earlier walked in.
Zeph had previously calculated all the potential trajectories that he possessed of different bodily motions that could result in convenient actions, such as him flicking a piece of glass into his hand in order to wear away at the restraints. He had a list of them memorized, because he had prepared for a situation like this. He slowly worked on the restraints while the "man" was turned. If the restraints were close to coming off, he would stop work until the "man" left.
The Man set up a Video of the owner of the Lab giving out some information about what happens to intuders but due to Water Damage from the last time the TV was used, he could only show the part where a man gets injected with a green serum.
Zeph, in a panic, quickly bashed his head into the invisibility button, becoming invisible, hopefully making it harder for the "Man" to find his vein. He then feverishly attempted to saw through whatever was left of his restraint and break himself free before the "Man" would go poking around inside of him. Maybe if he positioned the invisibility button near when he was jabbing with the needle, the needle might break. Yeah!
The "Man" Tried to inject Zeph but his moving around while invisible made it hard.

Rugal face-plamed.
"Fine...Just don't say I didn't warn you..." He coldy said as he went back up the passage and left Zeph to his business.
The only way in was the holes in the two doors.
Inside was a flooded area with several glowing vials and some leaking Fire Sprinklers.
The Lab was pitch Black and the Vials were the closest to light there was.
Rugal went into the living room and crashed on the sofa.
"Anything good on?..." He asked.
