Borderlands 3 had a big day at PAX East, with Gearbox Software taking the stage to share future content release plans. The developer kicked off post-launch plans for the latest in the series with a few seasonal events, a raid boss in the form of the game’s first Takedown mission, and, most notably, Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, the game’s first DLC. Borderlands 3 has three additional packs planned, however, with the second, titled Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, getting a reveal trailer. This Lovecraftian DLC focuses, well, on the marriage between Wainwright Jakobs and Sir Alistair Hammerlock and will include returning character Gaige as well new locations when it drops March 26.
The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock aside, Gearbox had another surprise in store. As many may know, the latest entry in the looter-shooter franchise came to the Epic Games Store before any other platform when it released last September. Now, Gearbox has announced that Borderlands 3 will arrive on Steam March 13 with the added bonus of day-one PC cross-play.

Gearbox then surprisingly went into detail regarding its third and fourth DLC plans during the event. Concept art (below) for DLC pack three was shown, teasing a western theme for its setting and missions, while the fourth DLC (which could change before release) was hinted to explore the mind of Krieg, a psycho vault-hunting character from Borderlands 2.
Gearbox also promised to continue adding more free content updates during its presentation at PAX East, going as far as to confirm that an Eridian-themed Takedown mission is on the way. Plus, Mayhem 2.0 and seasonal event Revenge of the Cartels are both coming as well.
