OoC: @Ven just now? I remember them having armor saves about equal to Space Marines, and having such a good resurrection chance, that it wasn't uncommon to see two go down and then get right back up.

OOC: @Saltyk to be fair in 5th edition rulebook the WBB from the previous necron book was rather bad. it didn't take much to completely wipe out a squad of necrons and ignore WBB altogether. now instead of taking the damage over the turns and resurrecting at the beginning of your next movement phase you now get to try at the start of each phase, although there is no more 6inch multiple squad s**t its only for that one unit and if the entire squad gets creamed then they are off the board although now they actively have the effect of the old rez orb where instant death and power weps didn't ignore WBB . the WBB roll was changed to a 5+ but if there is a rez orb attached to the squad its a 4+ but the rez orb oly effects the squad its attached to so its not exactly balanced but in my opinion i makes up for their lack luster elite choice CC infantry and their general uselessness in CC. and normal warriors are 13points same stat line only a 4+ armor save

OOC: Before it was just that they had the same armour as space marines and they wouldn't die now e have layers of bullshit to wade through. Harbingers of Transmogrification, Royal Courts, 3+ Invulnerable save, rolls of 6 cause an extra wound and then arc off to another unit, Ever living and many more bullshit rules and units. Its a mess of a codex, as if Matt Ward was just indulging his Necron fetish by making them have trickery that rivals Eldar.
