Zaheer was the first to respond to the screams. He had been awake the whole time but missed the murder. He was staring out of the window and imagining new spells. He quickly teleported to the aisle in order to avoid Richard and Terra, his goal being to investigate first. He hovered above Annester and tried to track magic. It had been used earlier, but it was an ambient force, possibly just the golems and it had nothing to do with the stabbing directly. The stake was driven in with brute force, Zaheer remembered the golems the nervous man was trying to hide. They would be of sufficient strength to pull it off. Perhaps the man was nervous because he had to commit a murder?

Then, other possibilities came to mind, perhaps the Lamia had dug its claws in first, then stuck the cane in after, that was always a possibility. The passengers all over the plane were getting riled up and nervous, someone screamed murder. If things got out of control, the murderer would easily get away. Zaheer yelled in a commanding and authoritative voice.

"Everyone sit down! We have a murder on our hands and the more chaos in this plane, the more likely the culprit gets away with it. I want to go from person to person and investigate a few details before we start doing anything else. Someone with either great physical strength, or possibly claws managed to drive this very far. This is compounded by a blade or claw wound to the woman's neck. Everyone stay calm, there will be no more murders on this plane, that I promise."

Zaheer looked directly at Annester, his escort had been eyeing Crim the entire time, but Zaheer doubted it was Annester...unless he teleported the cane where it lies. Nobody was clear now, though Zaheer doubted Lucius, Richard or Terra committed the act, he would have noticed any of them moving around.

Lucia was jarred awake by Katie's scream. She hopped up and flipped around toward the screaming, she was surprised to find the reason for it, Edward had been run through, and upon closer inspection, his wife's throat cut open "What the fucking hell...." was all she could think to say

On hearing the scream, Lucius turned around to see the cause, spotting the vampire lord's fate, as he did. Lucius frowned a little, at this potential ally's fate, but dismissed it as something he would have ended up doing eventually anyways. As he pondered who would have done this, albeit half-heartedly, he heard Zaheer shouting, trying to take control. Lucius chuckled slightly, and decided to let the naive young mage do his thing. Lucius sat back down, and started pondering the best way to determine the culprit - he didn't want the authorities delaying him in London!

John looked away from the window, with Roland in a plastic "handcuff" (very loose one though, so Roland could "escape" when the time came.

John grabbed his FBI badge and pushed his way to the center row.

A murder? Crap, his supervisor is going to kill him. "FBI!" John said, flashing his badge (labelled Joseph Welles), "Move away from the body," He said to Zaheer.

John saw the stake inside Lord Crim. His supervisor was going to kill him.

"Everyone remain calm. I am going to need the name and species of every person, supernatural or otherwise in this section," John grabbed a note pad, writing down all the details about the murder, noting the bat.

"Also, who's cane is this?"

Seras was wrapped around Theon in a loving embrace, a blanket draped across the pair of them. All was calm and peaceful, until suddenly an ear splitting scream awoke her. As Seras's eyes slowly came into focus, she could see that Katie was been held by Nicole, and that a trail of blood feel from the seat in front of Nicole, along with a sharp wooden looking implement piercing through it. Then a man who looked as though he had no eyes, except for two spots where they should be stood up. From the look of it, the man was a Mage, though something about it was familiar.

Murder? Who has been killed? Seras said to herself aloud as she peered over to the scene of the crime, and discovered that it was Edward and his wife. She could see that Edward had been impaled with a wooden cane straight through the heart, though the look of it was very familiar, and thats what had her scared. Suddenly John roared into action, showing a FBI badge through the cabin.

"FBI! Move away from the body!" John called out towards the Mage.

"Everyone remain calm. I am going to need the name and species of every person, supernatural or otherwise in this section." He then asked in a more calmer tone as John took out a notepad, and started taking down some details.

"Also, who's cane is this?" Dominic soon raised an arm.

"That would be my cane Agent Hardin." Dominic said as he stood up to look at the carnage in front. A look that may have been sadness crossed his face, if only for a moment. He then saw the expressions from everyone around him, least of all Seras, she looked both scared and ashamed.

"Dominic Rogue, Vampire."

Richard's analytical eyes merely watched the debacle, and his arm rubbed Terra's back Wake up, love, and watch yourself. The game is afoot and we're late to the party.

Richard used his left eye to scry the murder scene, using his polydimensional perspective to analyze any details he could.

The only magical patterns nearby were merely ambient, golems in fact. The Mage Of Panicking had a few of those. From this and obvious signs on the body, whatever did this had physical strength, and some sort of sharpness. It was that other Lord's cane... That's too easy. The man has lived through being and enemy of Crim, he can't be that sloppy.

We'll have to work together on this one love. Don't we have the greatest dates?

Terra had been fast asleep, her head resting on Richard's shoulder, when the scream awoke the plane. She shot up with a rush of a adrenaline ready for almost anything. What she wasn't ready for was the scene of gruesome death before her. She stared at the scene with an almost morbid curiosity bordering on fascination. The scene itself was extremely disturbing for a multitude of reasons. Ignoring the obvious disturbing elements - the blood stained row and the showy way of killing - Terra was most disturbed that she hadn't noticed it. Even in sleep she was constantly touching the minds around her; appropriating the ability to feel emotion and keep herself... well, herself. While it hadn't been much of a surprise she had not noticed the deaths; reading the mind of a vampire was difficult without actively trying, but that she hadn't felt the rush of emotion that such a brutal killing would indicate was a fact that shook her deeply; she should have "felt" it.

A moment after these thoughts hit her, Richard was speaking to her. ...We'll have to work together on this one love. Don't we have the greatest dates? he said, leaving her confused. Sure she hadn't cared for what little of Lord Crim she had seen, but she hadn't wished death upon him; she didn't wish that on anyone. Even Lord Crim had been alive... er undead rather. "This isn't all that "great" if you ask me," she thought through the link, her tone unwavering and lacking in emotion.

Realizing that the "FBI" agent had asked a question, she raised her voice and answered quickly; she was glad to have an agent aboard. It occurred to her, however briefly, that his fear of her mind-reading was likely related to his originally panicked state, but dismissed the thoughts; they were no longer relevant. "Uh... Terra Price; I'm a Succubus." she answered, still more then a little shell shocked by it all.

Lucia's attention was still on the murdered pair, a few things weren't adding up, like how was she not covered in blood, she should be given she was sitting in front of Crim's wife, and how did who ever did this, manage to do it with no one noticing, even if it was a surprise attack, the wife should have made some kind of noise in protest.

"I am going to need the name and species of every person, supernatural or otherwise in this section"

"And that matters why, human?" Lucia said while still trying to work the logistics of what happened in her head, though sympathy was totally absent from her, after all, they where just two dead parasites to her, not to mention she was irritated from being woken up like she was, and there was some human trying to give her orders, that rarely sat well with her, regardless of the reason

"That would be my cane Agent Hardin."

"Dominic Rogue, Vampire."

"How the hell did he know?" John thought.

"The name is Joseph Welles, sir. I hope you have a very good alibi, since you admit your cane is the murder weapon and you were sitting right behind the victim," John said while writing the information he already had knew.

John actually doubted Rogue did it, to kill a vampire with so many witnesses, including telepathic witnesses, is just to blatantly stupid for a vampire Lord. Of course, it could of been a double cover, an intentionally done badly so that

"Terra Price; I'm a Succubus."

"She isn't an ascended mage? Does that mean the other two can't read my mind?" John wondered, writing that fact down. He hadn't noticed her or anyone in the row infront of him getting up in awhile,

"And that matters why, human?"

John had to use all his self control to keep his composer and not start peeing his pants.

"Because, since somebody was just MURDERED, I need to know what each of you are (as per the Gorn V. Colorado) and what you can do for my investigation. I would have this plane grounded and everybody on board jailed if we were not over the Atlantic," John said, standing up as high as he can and glaring at the Gold Dragon, while in his mind he was trembling in fear and wanted to just cry in a safe corner with his teddy, "Whatever YOU are, I doubt you could fight off the tanks and AA guns that are going to be pointed at all of us when we land."

"Speaking of which," John said, turning to a shocked steward, "Please tell the captain what has happened, tell him to communicate that to the tower in London, and get all the crew to make sure all the passengers stay in their seats.

He then remembered something. Crim gave up his seats in First Class. Did he know about this?

"Because, since somebody was just MURDERED, I need to know what each of you are (as per the Gorn V. Colorado) and what you can do for my investigation. I would have this plane grounded and everybody on board jailed if we were not over the Atlantic," he said, siting some case she'd never heard of or cared about, to which she just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, drumming her fingers on her bicep as if to say 'you done yet?' "you do know I'm from Jade right? So quoting your Earth law books is rather pointless"

"Whatever YOU are, I doubt you could fight off the tanks and AA guns that are going to be pointed at all of us when we land."

Lucia raised an eye brow to this "Really .... you don't even know what I am and you assume your tin cans could stop me? I would comment on the bold faced arrogance of that, but I don't think I should have to, but if it'll get you to get to do your job, and leave me alone." Rather annoyed by the implications that a few measly tanks could bring her down.

"Lucia Miranda Draken, and I am a Platinum Dragon" It was just a pair of dead vampire after all, she didn't see the need to fuss over it.

"Really .... you don't even know what I am and you assume your tin cans could stop me? I would comment on the bold faced arrogance of that, but I don't think I should have to, but if it'll get you to get to do your job, and leave me alone."

So ignorant of modern technology, I know she is a Gold dragon, but even she still bleeds. Enough explosives and bullets would even bring down a...

"Lucia Miranda Draken, and I am a Platinum Dragon"

John looked up from his notepad, dread in his eyes.

"SHE'S A @#%&ING PLATINUM DRAGON?" John mentally screamed as he continued to stare at Lucia, "Oh God, oh @#^*, oh (%$[, I THOUGHT THEY ALL LEFT!?!"

John was petrified, frozen there, very glad he wore very dark pants today, staring down possibly the most powerful and dangerous creature he has ever faced.

And it was annoyed with him.

"OH @#^* ME," John thought.

Roland was just about to doze off when a scream pulled him from his sleep. He was rattled completely awake when John jumped to his feet and, brandishing his badge, tried to get the situation under control. The woodpecker sat quietly on his shoulder (the "handcuff" didn't let him go anywhere) as the crime scene was investigated and people questioned. Roland wasn't all the well versed when it came to the supernatural so finding out who was what turned out to be quite interesting for him.

John had fallen silent after the blue haired woman had introduced herself as a platinum dragon. "Are you alright?" Roland asked him quietly.

Lucius looked around with dismay at the ensuing chaos. Was air travel always this unbearably irritating. The temptation to find a way out was building, but he realised that was likely to paint him as the culprit. At the alledged FBI agent's plea, Lucius stood up, and floated up to the agent, handshake extended, "Lucius Cassius Imperiosus, son of Servius, Praetor of the Holy Roman Senate. Lich. You may address me as Imperiosus, human, and I would thank you to be rather more courteous - people might comply more", Lucius paused, and then turned away, going to 'stand' (read: float) in a corner, and began his own investigation.

Making sure that he could see the majority of the suspects, Lucius sent a telepathic message to everyone around, "My powers as a Lich allow me to look back in time, and see events as they happened. I saw you killing the Vampire lord - what do you have to say?"

"The name is Joseph Welles, sir. I hope you have a very good alibi, since you admit your cane is the murder weapon and you were sitting right behind the victim." John said whilst he continued writing notes down. Dominic's powers over telepathy was already searching his mind for answers.

"If you must know John, at around 5 AM, I went to the bathroom, passing Mister Anester over there." Dominic started off with in a calm manner, gesturing towards the Ascended Mage. He maintained his demeanour throughout the rest of his alibi.

"It was around 5:15 AM when I finally returned to my seat, where I have been sleeping ever since; didn't even notice that my cane was missing until my youngest daughter here screamed. Whilst I may have disliked Lord Crim, I wouldn't of gone actively out of my way to kill him or his wife." After he was done talking, Nicole decided to speak, offering the man her name and race along with Katie's.

"Nicole Rogue, Human. This here is myself and Dominic's youngest daughter Katarina Rogue, Dhampir. Though if you want to talk to her, I'd advise calling her Katie."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the questioning carried on, Seras decided to hold onto Theon, knowing that she felt safe around him. Seras then looked into Theon's eyes with a look that hoped he was innocent in all this.

"Please tell me you didn't have anything to do with this." She then turned her head towards the agent.

"Seras Rogue, Dhampir."

Pegs awoke with a start. First chaos, then blood, then questions. She looked at the body, the pompous Vampire Lord had met his end, murdered with what looked like a blunt weapon. Knowing the inter-racial relations between the Fey and the Vampires were less than cordial, she would be probably be the main suspect. Well, Pegs didn't like Vampires on the basis that they were usually stuck-up snobs rather than the fact that were Vampires and last time she checked, she couldn't kill somebody while sleeping.

"I am going to need the name and species of every person, supernatural or otherwise in this section"

Almost automatically, she responded, "Paaie Leslie, Fey."

She turned back from the panicking 'FBI agent' and buried her face in her hands. Of course there had to be a problem traveller, and of course, it wasn't simply a snoring sasquatch or gossiping goblins, but a murderer. This was definitely going to interfere with her travel plans. It had be somewhere relatively near to her home, her parents were going to worried sick. Or just shout at her for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, again...

Annester chuckled "I'm no Ascended, boy-o, just a regular old man. William Annester." William waved jovially "Would anybody like some cold candy, or shant I go back to a good peaceful sleep. Though, I can officially corroborate Lord Rogue's alibi, he did pass by me at that time."

Meanwhile, Richard merely frowned at Terra, and hugged her as supportively as he could with his free arm "I'm Richard, Ascended Wizard." Sure, secrecy was important, but most everybody wouldn't even firmly know what that was.

It was within the Cabal's rules, even if by technicality.

Lucia had noticed the agents eyes dart back to her with a look of utter fear, that was a new one, most the time she'd had to explain her self when she announced her race, apparently that wouldn't be necessary, in this case.

"Well, if your quite done pissing your self, I'd like to direct your attention to something worthy of note" She started, motioning to her side that was facing up while she was a sleep, and the wall by Mrs Crim "Any body else find the lack of blood weird, or it just me. With a wound like that, there should be blood all over the place, and Me and Pegs should probably have some on us as well"

"If you must know John, at around 5 AM, I went to the bathroom, passing Mister Anester over there."

That broke John attention away from the dragon, only making self control nearly impossible. He hadn't even heard Roland's concerned voice.

"JUST HOW MANY @&#$ING MIND READERS ARE ON THIS PLANE," John thought as his mind went back down into lockdown, forcing up a lot of memories, real and fake, to keep the Lord from finding anything classified.

"It was around 5:15 AM when I finally returned to my seat, where I have been sleeping ever since; didn't even notice that my cane was missing until my youngest daughter here screamed. Whilst I may have disliked Lord Crim, I wouldn't of gone actively out of my way to kill him or his wife."

"Noted," John said, writing this information down.

"Lucius Cassius Imperiosus, son of Servius, Praetor of the Holy Roman Senate. Lich. You may address me as Imperiosus, human, and I would thank you to be rather more courteous - people might comply more"

"Duly noted," John said, his headache returning.

"Nicole Rogue, Human. This here is myself and Dominic's youngest daughter Katarina Rogue, Dhampir. Though if you want to talk to her, I'd advise calling her Katie."

"Neither of you saw him move forward at any time?" John asked.

"Paaie Leslie, Fey."

"Thank you," John said, starting to become overwhelmed with replies and stress, and muttering several spells to avoid another panic attack.

"I'm no Ascended, boy-o, just a regular old man. William Annester. Would anybody like some cold candy, or shant I go back to a good peaceful sleep. Though, I can officially corroborate Lord Rogue's alibi, he did pass by me at that time."

"Thanks," John said, also writing he most likely is lying.

"Well, if your quite done pissing your self, I'd like to direct your attention to something worthy of note. Any body else find the lack of blood weird, or it just me. With a wound like that, there should be blood all over the place, and Me and Pegs should probably have some on us as well"

While the dragon was both terrifying and annoyingly smug, John had to note she had a point. Although, they were vampires and he had made sure they were not eating as much as they liked.

"My powers as a Lich allow me to look back in time, and see events as they happened. I saw you killing the Vampire lord - what do you have to say?"

"THE LICH CAN READ MINDS TOO?" John thought, breathing becoming labored as he was on the verge of another panic attack.

"My powers as a Lich allow me to look back in time, and see events as they happened. I saw you killing the Vampire lord - what do you have to say?"

Roland jumped from surprise when he heard the voice in his head. He looked around, worried and a bit panicky. Was that really a lich? Could liches do that? Or was he going mad? Roland shuddered, remembering the time right after he'd been turned into a woodpecker. It had been horrible and he had been very close to snapping.

Theon was woken up by a loud scream, it sounded female. He also smelled a very strong smell, one he was all too familiar with. Blood and quite a lot of it too, he then heard people scream about a murder. He looked around to see what had happened, he was still a bit sleepy. But as soon as he noticed the corpse, and smelled death he was completely awake. Was made him worry the most was what an ascended mage said "Someone with either great physical strength, or possibly claws managed to drive this very far. This is compounded by a blade or claw wound to the woman's neck." Theon's eyes opened wide. He looked down to see that he was completely clean and still holding Seras, it hadn't been his werewolf side he was really relived.

"FBI! Move away from the body," Jon then said "Everyone remain calm. I am going to need the name and species of every person, supernatural or otherwise in this section. Also, who's cane is this?" The cane looked strangely familiar. "That would be my cane Agent Hardin." Dominic said as he stood up. "Dominic Rogue, Vampire." Theon froze up. He didn't know Dominic that well, what he did know was that he would never hurt let alone kill someone. His cane being used as the murder weapon was obviously to frame him. Theon ignored most of the talking after that instead hugging Seras closer and looking at her. Until he heard "Lucia Miranda Draken, and I am a Platinum Dragon" Theon froze up.. A platinum dragon?.... That is insane.

"Lucius Cassius Imperiosus, son of Servius, Praetor of the Holy Roman Senate. Lich. A lich too? Why the hell was he on the plane with all these strange people. Theon could feel Seras holding on to him, She then looked at him with a strange look. "Please tell me you didn't have anything to do with this." She then turned her head towards the agent. "Seras Rogue, Dhampir." Theon's face lost some of its color. Was she actually considering that he might have done something like this? Then again he had been worried a few second ago too. "You don't have to worry Seras. I had nothing to do with the murder." Theon looked at John "Theon Versipellis, hybrid: Half werewolf, half shape shifter."

"I'm no Ascended, boy-o, just a regular old man. William Anester. Would anybody like some cold candy, or shan't I go back to a good peaceful sleep. Though, I can officially corroborate Lord Rogue's alibi, he did pass by me at that time." William said as he chuckled.

"My apologies then good sir; I just sensed powerful magic lingering on your person, and I assumed otherwise. I guess with all these other magic users on board, it made precise location difficult." Dominic said in a polite manner.

"Well, if your quite done pissing your self, I'd like to direct your attention to something worthy of note. Any body else find the lack of blood weird, or it just me. With a wound like that, there should be blood all over the place, and Me and Pegs should probably have some on us as well." Lucia said as she looked over the bodies of Edward and his wife.

"Yes Miss Draken, it is most unusual. Given the nature of the wound on both of them, there should be a significant amount of blood splatter in the near vicinity; yourself and Miss Leslie included. There should even be some up on the console where the lights are. Whoever did this, was rather clean with their work." Dominic mused to himself out loud, but was interupted by a mental communication.

"My powers as a Lich allow me to look back in time, and see events as they happened. I saw you killing the Vampire lord - what do you have to say?" Dominic decided to send a message back, mentally of course.

"Funny, I've never heard of a Lich being to do that before, then again, I have had not much encounter with your kind."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You don't have to worry Seras. I had nothing to do with the murder." Theon said with some reassurance, which calmed Seras down significantly; with which she responded by kissing him on the cheek.

"Thank you, that makes me feel better." Seras quietly said, before being interrupted by a voice in her head, it matched that of the Lich.

"My powers as a Lich allow me to look back in time, and see events as they happened. I saw you killing the Vampire lord - what do you have to say?" Whilst Seras was startled by the events, her outward appearance remained calm, not wanting to be suspected as the murderer, though she knew she wasn't; after all, no sooner had the plane taken off, was she wrapped up warm with Theon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Neither of you saw him move forward at any time?" John asked Nicole as she held onto Katie.

"Apart for a few brief moments when he went to the bathroom; both myself and Katie were asleep soon after take off."

Terra stared at the self proclaimed "platinum dragon" a for a moment after she stated her name and species, then dismissed the issue. It hardly mattered. A Dragon was powerful sure, but so was just about every creature on the plane in their section. A platinum dragon might be powerful, but between the ascended mages, the Lich, the vampire and his children, the werewolf, the normal mages, the half-demon and what appeared to be a Fey, Lamia, and so on; it was hardly that much more frightening or awe-inspiring.

Beside all of that, she was quickly distracted by the aforementioned Lich and his sudden psychic projection. When she felt the beginnings of the message; not knowing its source or intent, she threw up her mental barriers to stop the potential attack. When she realized the threat was null, Terra listened to the message and scoffed. It wasn't hard to figure out what he was up to - based on the simultaneous confusion in most of the people around her.

Using her powers, she sent a reply. "Good trick; though you may want to put some space between the messages next time so it won't be obvious to any telepaths" she said back through her own telepathic message. She might have added more advice, but it would have been rude.

She was also distracted by Richard's sudden hug. She returned the effort in kind

"Yes Miss Draken, it is most unusual. Given the nature of the wound on both of them, there should be a significant amount of blood splatter in the near vicinity; yourself and Miss Leslie included. There should even be some up on the console where the lights are. Whoever did this, was rather clean with their work."

"Quiet to, I find it difficult to believe that some one could pull this off with no one noticing, especially given the rather ... interesting assortment of people we got going on here" Lucia said looking around, then rubbing the side of her head as she got the Litch's message, telepathy always gave her a head ache. Lucia wanted to add a few more points but really didn't have anything else to offer right now

Zaheer had moved away from the body, his eyes never moving from John or Annester. The possibility existed that it was one of the vampires, but he did not think it was anybody in his row, or Lucius for that matter. Lucius would probably find himself above this kind of murder. Besides, knowing Liches, there would be no reason for Lucius to wait, he could easily have just made Crim into his mind slave or something.

"My powers as a Lich allow me to look back in time, and see events as they happened. I saw you killing the Vampire lord - what do you have to say?

Zaheer laughed back telepathically to the Lich. "Nice trick, might fool someone, but this also means that now I know you can't look back in time. Guess that gives me a one up on you friend."

With that in mind, Zaheer did contemplate looking back in time, but the risks weren't worth catching someone who killed an insignificant vampire like Crim. He did however, get a different idea. His two prime suspects might break if he pushed a tiny bit. He sent a message to John.

"I saw too, stop pretending and just turn yourself in, before I make a harsher move. It was your golems that did it, you are horrible at hiding them now admit it or I will turn you into dust. You have five seconds."

His next message was sent to Dominic.

"It might not have been you, but I know you enabled this murder. I saw back in time as well, my friend is mistaken as to who exactly it was, but I know you are a part of this, don't think I won't kill you if you don't turn yourself in. Ten seconds."

And finally, Annester.

"I saw how you were eyeing Crim in the airport. There is magic everywhere right now, you are cornered. Give it up."

John looked around, seeing that nobody had reacted to the Lich's telepathic comment.

Nobody, besides John, who was increasingly a nervous wreck.

"Oh @#$&, now they are going to think I did it. Even though I haven't left my seat in hours, they can just say my GOLEMS did it, and the only witness who can say otherwise is a bird who I am keeping prisoner!" John thought, "And now that I am aware of the fact, I am only now trembling more!"

All this, the dragon, half this section able to read his mind, the fact the person he was supposed to follow, the fact he looks like he is guilty for murder, was just to much for him. He broke down, crying, while his mind was wrapped into Chaos by another panic attack.

Lucia watched the display of, what she could only assume was a telepathy related breakdown. "Wonderful, now, if the telepaths in the section are done bullying the man whom has a pension for nervous break downs, maybe we can get back to real issue at hand" motioning to the still very much dead vampire.

"I'd kinda like this sorted out before we land so I don't have to waste a bunch of time talking to some police officer" Lucia was still looking over the body's, figuring there was some clue there no one had noticed, though given how little time she spends on Earth and by proxy, humans, she might as well have been staring at the wall

Roland almost fell off John's shoulder when the man broke out crying. "What on earth is wrong with you?" he asked but got no response. "Aren't you supposed to be solving a murder?" Roland hissed.

Nothing.

Roland let out a sigh. He hated these sort of things. Without any further ceremony, he hit John in the face with his wings.

"This. Is. NOT. HELPING!" he said and continued to hit John much like he had attacked the steward earlier, being careful not to hit him with his beak.

"This. Is. NOT. HELPING!"

The constant pain from getting a bird talon stuffed into his skull brought John back from his panic attack long enough to notice that the passengers were not swarming him, pinning him down, or calling him the murderer.

"I am alright," John said, getting back up as he calmed down, "If you would please all give me a bit of space and not drown me with info..."

John breathed heavily, and got a look of determination. A case needs to be solved, a murderer needs to be brought to justice, and a change of pants is in order.

John looked back at Crim, moving around to make sure he didn't miss anything. John noticed he had completely noticed Crim's wife had also been murdered, via a gash to the neck.

A gash through the neck.

Not a decapitation, and there was no piece of wood going through her heart, a vampire killed to a small gash to the neck.

John pulled out his gun and his knife (which had a thin piece of wood contained within the blade), pointing it at the "corpse."

"Mrs. Crim, put your hands in the air RIGHT NOW," John barked.

Seras seemed relieved, when Theon said he had nothing to do with the murders. She then suddenly kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you, that makes me feel better." Seras quietly said. Theon smiled he didn't even need to ask if Seras had done this, it was obvious that she hadn't. Theon ignored the voice in his head which said to be able to see back in time. Sandulf's voice was already was bad enough. John broke down and started crying, Theon wondered if he had even seen such a bad cop before. He wondered how such a man would ever be able to solve this case.

"I am alright," John said, getting back up as he seemed to calm down, "If you would please all give me a bit of space and not drown me with info..." Theon sighed, he had asked for that info and now he asked them to shut up. John looked at the corpses and suddenly pulled out his knife and gun. "Mrs. Crim, put your hands in the air RIGHT NOW," John barked. Sandulf and Theon finally agreed on something, this failure of a FBI agent wouldn't take Dominic.

Theon released Seras and softly placed her back in her own seat. He then stood up and walked towards Dominic, stopping in between John and Dominic. His skin changed to 'iron skin' as he called it, bullets wouldn't have any effect anymore. He growled at John and said "You won't take Dominic with such flimsy evidence. It is obvious, that it is made to look like he did it. I won't allow you to take him based on that, FBI agent or not." Theon growled again, he wouldn't allow this 'FBI agent' to take someone of Seras' family. Especially not when he was waving a gun around.

"Nice trick, might fool someone, but this also means that now I know you can't look back in time. Guess that gives me a one up on you friend."
"Good trick; though you may want to put some space between the messages next time so it won't be obvious to any telepaths"
"Funny, I've never heard of a Lich being to do that before, then again, I have had not much encounter with your kind."

Lucius frowned slightly at the number of people capable of replying to him - that made his efforts a little weaker. He also made a mental note that the only visible reactions came from the agent who had taken 'control', if indeed that could be called control, and the bird who seemed to be working with him. Judging from the fact they both practically shat themselves, these were now his prime suspects. Realising that another mental message might just about break the agent - and that would complicate things a little too much - he decided to give the agent a fright. at the perfect time, he heard the agent shouting "Mrs. Crim, put your hands in the air RIGHT NOW" - perfect, he thought to himself.
With a few small hand motions, he infused a little life into Mrs. Crim's otherwise lifeless corpse, just enough to cause her hands to raise above her head - and made her give a slight groan. This achieved, he focused on the more important issue. Lucius looked at the bird, and sent another message.
"look, birdman, between the reactions of you and your FBI friend to my message, you're clearly the culprits. Unless you turn you and your accomplice in, I will strike you down and make your corpse fucking dance"

John seemed to calm down again so Roland sat back down on his shoulder. The sooner these murders were solved the better. Maybe now that everyone calm again some progress could be made.

"Mrs. Crim, put your hands in the air RIGHT NOW!"

Never mind...

Roland rolled his eyes, wondering if he had hit the agent too hard, despite how ludicrous that would be. He was about to say something when he heard a voice in his head again.

"Look, birdman, between the reactions of you and your FBI friend to my message, you're clearly the culprits. Unless you turn you and your accomplice in, I will strike you down and make your corpse fucking dance."

Alright, someone was clearly talking to him using telepathy. Probably. Hopefully. Now would be a bad time to realize you're insane. He looked around, trying to guess who was sending the messages. Didn't the say they were a lich? What the hell does a lich look like?

"Why don't you stop playing your little tricks and say that to my face?" he said angrily.

Mrs. Crim's hands began to raise as the flow of magic from the Lich was poured into her; though this was hardly the reason for the movement. Using her powers, she reached out with her hands, her arms extending as though they were coiled snakes, and grabbed hold of the John's hands; pushing them aside to protect herself from the danger they created. A moment later, she burst from her seat with impressive speed, slamming into the agent, putting as much of her body weight behind it as physically possible. Given her body now seemed to be made of steal, that was a not insignificant amount of force.

Then, a second later, her whole form was gone, replaced with a grotesque, alien form like something from another world. It's eyes were a deep black and its head over-sized. It stood at about the same height as the woman had been, but with a much more skeletal frame.

She - rather it - took a second to stare at the menacing looking group of people and monsters, before its next change of form took place. Suddenly, the creature was no longer there; in its place was a smallish falcon. Flapping its wings, to gain a little altitude, it took off down toward the rear of the plane, and more importantly, the emergency exits.

Richard growled and used his evocation to created strong telekinetic barrier before the exits, floating over that direction at matching speed, swooping and dodging past the people in the way "This has to be either something dead or simply alien, anything truly otherwordly would have Ascended hunting for it." looking ahead he started creating separate barriers on each of the doors, and supercharged the air where he saw the bird, hoping that the shocking charge would stun it to the floor.

Lucius had a quick double-take as the Vampire's wife became... what? what the hell was that? It didn't take long for his to vocalise this feeling
"Fuck. What the fuck is that?", he hissed at anyone close to him, "Do we kill it?"

In the hope that he'd need to use it, he began to draw magical energy into his hands, and increasingly, the area around his hands. As the energy built up close to breaking point, he infused it with ice, ready to unleash it at... the thing.
