"Sale Volonski."

TrilbyWill:
"Okay, done."
I put the Book of Trilby online as a cheap e-book, put a bunch of ads on the site and wait for the money and worshipers to roll in.
"Now we need to come up with fake identities."

14; with a few hours, you slowly begin building up your fanbase. You get 5 copies sold.

"Aww yeah."
I decide to check the site for our escort service to see if we've been hired by anyone.

"My fake name is Cigma Sastell."
I peer over Trilbies shoulder.
"Why have you signed us all up as escorts"

"It's just Salt and I, unless you want in on this action. It's a moneymaking scheme, at least until we can start embezzling church funds."

"We can be like Scientology, but with less vitrol and underhanded murder of ex-members!"

"Yeah. We'll only murder current members."

"...I elect to be immune from that procedure."

"You will be."

"Your willingness and agreeing attitude has me worried you've got something sinister planned for me, Trilby."

"Well, I don't."

"I think I know you too well to accept that statement at face value."

"Of course I want in on escorting I took it at university three times"
I produce several obviously fake degree certificates.

"You should."
I turn to Sigma and inspect the degrees closely.
"Hmm... you seem a little overqualified."

"Lies"
I produce approximately 5,000 more certificates from various pockets.

"Uh... you've got the job."

TrilbyWill:
"Aww yeah."

19; a relatively rich guy decided to hire, selecting the Super Duper Deluxe Package. You know he's rich because he spent around 2500 dollars on the extra services. There's a location listed in the order; the corner of Midway's and Adrien, close to the industrial park, specifically some sort of nuclear power plant.

----

10; you make steady progress towards the power plant, going through a bunch of alleys. The weird thing is that, in spite of the gunfire from before, all of those streets seem to be empty, with no sign of life anywhere.

So, it's Montreal all over again.

Yep; there are some bags of Doritos lying around, or some other signs that there used to be civilization here, but otherwise, there isn't much organic life aside from you.

...I stop and look around. Any windows nearby?

It's the fucking U.S.A.; you won't have any trouble finding windows.

I break the nearest one and jump in, hopefully to find something cool.

7; you find an apartment for rent.

I bookmark that on my phone's GPS and quickly head back on my way to the power plant.

7; more high-ass walls. You'll have to keep circling around.

God dammit, New Jersey.

"Sigma, there's a rich guy who wants the Super Duper Deluxe Package. Go rob him, and maybe also do your job."

"EVERYONE CALM DOWN! I WILL BE SETTING UP A QUEST BOARD HERE! YOU CAN LOG YOUR QUESTS THERE AND I WILL CHECK THEM OUT!"

If everyone calms down, he heads off to buy some supplies needed to build a quest board. Shouldn't be too difficult, right? Input computer, Holographic interface, a fuckton of wood?

"Sweet"
I doll myself up and head over to his place.

I send a free copy of the Book of Trilby to Green.

"...You think customers want a blind escort? Cause, I don't want to be some exotic...fetish...thing."

"Maybe. I mean, the Super Duper Deluxe Package involves jam, a lute and light spanking. Point being, some people are into pretty much anything."

"...Is that last thing for the escort of the person buying it?"

"That's up to the person buying it."

"...Eesh."

"Not many people will be able to afford the Super Duper Deluxe Package, though."

Greenstarfanatic:

13; turns out it's kind of difficult to make a game construct, so you simply made a normal board instead. The crowd of people quickly flocks over there to put small post-its on it.

TrilbyWill:
I send a free copy of the Book of Trilby to Green.

...Eh, I'll just say you somehow managed to do it.

11; 8 people have bought your book in total.

----

From nowhere in particular, you (as in Green) obtain some sort of book, named the Book of Trilby. It tells tales of most likely highly exaggerated, but poignantly-told exploits of Trilby's life.

Sigma Castell:
"Sweet"
I doll myself up and head over to his place.

7; you head out onto the streets and do your best to head to the meeting point. You get lost and come upon Marcel trying to climb a wall.

...Alright. I have to concentrate. I have the fingerless gloves, and I'm French; there's no way I can fail this now. I run straight up that goddamn wall and go over!

17; well, I'll be damned by six hundred USB drives riding broken toasters, you do it. You arrive on top of the wall.

I survey what's on the other side.

2, fumble with 12; about two dozen gangsters bartering for a huge drug load. 2, fumble with 4; they notice you.

I climb back down, hoping they don't bother going after me.

10; you hear footsteps.

I run as fast as I can possibly can, hopefully in direction of the nuclear power plant.

3, fumble with 14; they have guns. A bullet barely misses you.

I start browsing for nearby buildings I can make a church in.

"This isn't going to evolve into some God Complex, will it?"

"Nah. Pretty much everything attributed to acts of god in the Book of Trilby is just building mechanical stuff. Easily achievable with enough effort."

TrilbyWill:
I start browsing for nearby buildings I can make a church in.

19; it's not hard for you to find buildings to buy; absolutely everyone's gone. The entire street is yours to fuck around in.

"We should try and find more employees."

I continue to search for the guys house.

Sigma Castell:
I continue to search for the guys house.

4; you make a few turns and find yourself in the New York underground subway system; no one seems to be there, and some of those registers where you have to put in a ticket to advance seem to have been broken. Bits and pieces of newspaper are lying around, but it seems that the place is abandoned in spite of the lights and the other electric appliances in the station still being activated.

----

Am I getting any closer to losing them?

17; with a few sharp turns and your blindingly French mane of hair, it seems that you managed to make them lose track of you.

I keep running towards the nuclear power plant regardless.

18; you don't find any walls and start running like all hell to the nuclear shafts in the distance, now coming closer and closer.

...You know, why the hell would they put a nuclear power plant in the middle of a city? I know it's New Jersey, but who the hell would be that stupid?

One of the great human mysteries.

Oh, hey, you're the hint guy, right? It's been a while since you actually showed up.

I didn't exactly mind not being around, to be honest.

What else do you have to do?

I could tell you, but, but I'd would have to kill you.

8; you don't resist the urge, and get barely short of actually screaming it out loud.

GOD

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN
