I look over at Zombie.

Green finally wakes up from wallowing in self-pity, and looks around at several people wearing communist propaganda as clothing.

Connor Lonske:

My head cracks sharply against the floor. Pain flashes in lightening strikes across my eyes. I blink, dazed, and I am struck again. Something crunches, and wetness spreads across my face. I try to open my eyes but my vision is obscured with red. More impacts rain down on me, and something is ringing in my ears. The pain is a dull, red-hot ache.
I fall into unconsciousness.

TrilbyWill:

I stop brutally beating Sigma for a moment and realize I need my medication. Shit. I take a dosage and consider how I'm gonna get her back to the others.

I end up deciding to carry her over my shoulder, and I go back to everyone else causally.

"Anyway... let's go do something useful."

"I already did." I say as I carry Sigma to the group, as I put her down in the center, "You said to assassinate her. I brought her alive."

"Or we could institute a government setting me and Trilby up as Queen and Prime Minister respectively."

I open my eyes.

- Skill aptitudes at the start are determined by interests and general attitude

Changes:
- Skill bonuses are no longer numerate bonuses, instead ranging with the gradients Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, and Master.

Fixes:
- Fixed bug where bottled water at Item Shop could be sold for an infinite amount of money.

IT'S GAME EXPLANATION TIME!

OK so we suddenly got an idea; instead of just figuring out your aptitude at something with a skill bonus, we're going to use interests (ex. experimenting on squirrels) and traits (ex. insane) to figure out what you'd be good at. Like that, you actually get a sense of being different from the others and not just a bunch of sheets with extra numbers attached to them.

Also, now all the skill bonuses will be determined with the same skill gradients as in the Elder Scrolls games (what a shock); reaching the Novice and Apprentice ranks both require one skill point, but reaching Adept, Expert and Master require shit that we haven't figured out yet.

Now, figure out those interests / traits and post them, because there's going to be some action soon enough.

Interest: Specializes in Historical Weaponry. Knows how to use Basic Small Arms as a result.

Traits: Closeted Jock: +2 in Bullshiting rolls and gains Blunt Weaponry as a interest because sports. As an offset this perk gives the user fear of any sexual situation or even a conversation regarding it, especially if a woman is involved. this means -3 against Naked Women and -6 for any rolls for awesome or cool involving sex.

ANXIOUS RAGE: When off medication, Anxiety provoking situations will cause the user to attack a lot more violently and powerfully but will go too far or attack the wrong people without thinking about it. When off medication +2 to attack roll but -3 emotional stability recovery.

LET'S CLEAR SHIT UP HERE, MY BAD:

When I mean traits, I mean shit like character traits; they aren't just essentially negative or positive things like perks; they're a part of your personality that trades off a good effect with a bad effect.

We clear on that? Cool.

Interests: Specializes in Music, giving him a greater repertoire when playing instruments, and Video Games, allowing him slight knowledge of general weapon usage and making him believe that katanas are actually a necessary weapon to obtain during the zombie apocalypse. They aren't.

Traits: Disciplined and ConstruKctive: He's more likely to remain level-headed and logical, and has a +2 in mental stability rolls.

I Repeat Myself When Under Stress: The extended lack of the presence of music, let alone the lack of an iPod for him to listen to his music on, progressively sharpens his senses, but makes him also increasingly psychotic and suspicious of others. The increased senses bonus caps at +5, while the mental stability malus caps at -7.

Interests: Specializes in face Mask Collecting. Has small bonus to disguises.

Traits: Is this real life? On occasion, he will lose his grasp on reality and not be able to tell what is real and what is fake. Due to this ability, he will do slightly more damage than normal in battle. However, if he rolls a five or lower then he will attack one of his team mates.

It's probably not real anyway: Due to the previous condition, he's built up a resistance to unnerving things. +3 to mental stability.

Interests: Specialises in Drawing. Has bonus when using art supplies as weapons, and as art supplies.

Traits: Pyromania: Due to an intense love for fire, he is slightly more effective at using and setting fires. However, he does not do much in the way of controlling these fires, potentially endangering teammates, bystanders and nearby flammable objects.
Additionally, large amounts of fire decrease mental stability, except in situations where fire raises mental stability.

Lack of Empathy: He doesn't empathise with people, meaning emotional arguments are ineffective at swaying his opinions. It also helps him to stay calm in highly emotional situations. However, this makes him more likely to impede the group for personal gain, and also slightly more likely to incorrectly believe someone may be planning the same thing. Plus, it basically just makes him a jackass.
