The Couch-surfing Thread
Never heard of couch-surfing. Staying in the hotel with my man servants, but that sounds kind of fun... in a "stranger danger" kind of way. Haha.
Couch-surfer pretty much perfectly describes my friend Logan. Dude will vacation to a town/city he's never been to and within an hour, he'll have at least three places he can crash at that night. Its insane. I envy this talent.
If your anywhere near Orangevale California, feel free to drop by. Got a doghouse for guests. Also, I read your city as 'Midgetville' before rereading it. midgetville sounds like a more interesting place IMO
A friend is going couch surfing really, really soon, actually. Nowhere near you, though. And if anybody finds out my address , please know that you are absolutely NOT welcome. Go away. I don't want you. And how did you find out my address, anyway? I'm calling the police.
It's preferable. I like couches, and friends, and saving money. Too bad I can't go to EEXpo, or have friends in Durham. Oh wellz...
It's not as cheap as couch-surfing, but would you (or anyone) be interested in splitting a hotel room? The La Quinta at Research Triangle Park has great rates, but not great enough to justify me getting a 2-bed for 2 nights all by myself. PM me if you're interested.
seeing as how no one's started a couch-surfing thread yet, I figured I aught to be the one to break the ice.
Alright for those of you who don't know what couch-surfing is, it's staying at someone's place--either a friend or stranger--instead of a hotel or something like that.
Anyway, I Iive in milledgeville, georgia, so if you're heading in from either atlanta or the south in general, feel free to hit up my place for a day if you need. And if you live in Durham, it'd be awesome if some of us could stay at your place
