Awesome episode. I have always wondered about the chicken/egg conundrum even after applying evolution cause the question arose "If a chicken -1 lays an egg and a chicken comes out is it the chicken egg or the chicken -1 egg?" Finally someone with an answer.

Fantastic writing, absolutely brilliant. You guys straddle the fourth wall very well (which just sounds dirty), the continual game references are paced very nicely, and you even mix them up from obvious to esoteric (I nearly fell out of my chair when he said yoghurt instead of cow), and the characters are great in personality and consistency. Add in the hilariously over-the-top acting and some stellar special effects, and you have one of the most professional web original series I've ever seen.

One question, though. I can understand why Nefarious left the two alive, but why did he let Shanks keep his sweet tie? It makes no sense!

The Steven Seagal approach can solve all of lives problems.

Great episode, as always. This is, in my opinion, the Escapist's most consistently entertaining video series, with the possible exception of There Will Be Brawl.

Although, I have to ask, how is Nefarious not dead? Didn't Shanks shoot him?

Shanks only shot him ONCE. That's never enough to kill a real super villain.

Been watching since the first episode - thought it was funny but a little silly. It's really grown on me since around episode 5 though; and this one was a masterpiece.

I like their intro. They should at least keep the catchy theme song. Anyways, great prequel to the series, and I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Although I'm not sure if it's so much "broken" as "smashed, picked up the pieces, and recrafted in the form of plot devices and witty one-liners". XD

Great episode, Daggerfall reference was great, the effects were really good loved the slow motion glass break and the explosions with all the drinks.

My personal favourite bit was how well you did the fight scenes with the quick camera switches and the first person view when Shanks was punching nefarious in the face. Keep up the good work

I love this series. But Im glad you brought it away from this ten-year-ago two parter to explain what the hell is going on. Episode 11 was boring, im glad to say I liked this one. cant wait for 13!

This show is made of pure awesome, also that room, is the best room in the entire world ever. The one with the hail to the thief artwork painted on the wall.

good sode, but you guys's sound is a bit off, get one of those boom sticks(or what ever they're called) or some of those little coller clip on mics, so you can hear their voices. Other then that nice sodes! :)
