Looks fun though, like a smaller scale version of Pandemic, or whatever that game about killing off the entire world through a virus was called. |

Hm. The link is accurate, but the game itself seems to be down - getting there from the Armor site itself doesn't work, either. Replaced with a working link for the time being :) |

Well, I went ahead and tried to go play other games on the site (Achievement Unlocked, actually) and I was getting the exact same thing. Seems to me the site is down. |

You can do it, but you need to get a ship bearing country at the start, keep the virus hidden for as long as possible and then get lucky with Japan and Madagascar. Once you infect those two, hitting the water plants usually wins you the game. |

On my tenth playthough on Realistic, I managed to infect Madagascar...only to be shut off by Peru. I worked so hard to get Madagascar, and now my work is stopped by Peru! |

Yes, once again it boils down to trial and error with a heaping portion of dumb luck mixed in. I had a ship go in just before they closed their borders. |

Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 849 Joined: 2 Feb 2008 | This game starts of rather hard, but becomes ridiculously easy by the end. In a good way; it's still really fun, but things just breeze by. I liked to focus on Strength, Speed, Reproduction and Agility, with Defense as my dump stat. It was unneeded when everything would be taken over and filled up at the rate it was. |

Muckraker Posts: 309 Joined: 18 Feb 2009 | Gah freakin Madagascar, it's always the one that got away.... still this game looks awesome, lets give it a try! |
Beat Writer Posts: 186 Joined: 13 Jun 2009 | There was a picture somewhere... "A cough in China? Quick! Close the borders!" - Mayor of Madagascar... Interesting game, looks fun! Actually, hang on, I think I've played something similar to this. |

Muckraker Posts: 340 Joined: 20 Mar 2009 | lol at the pandemic 2 reference Madagascar is frustrating as hell to infect. >:( |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1521 Joined: 5 Jul 2008 | In the end I figured out that the only way to win the whole game was to start from Madagascar. Worked the first time I got that country. But oh, this wasn't the Pandemic 2 thread, was it? |

Exactly. I started and restarted until I got Madagascar. It was my first and only win.
Huh? What game is is it then? No, wait... |

I think the only way to infect Madagascar is to actually start on it. |
Paperboy Posts: 34 Joined: 6 Feb 2009 | I spent a few hours playing through Phage Wars 2 about a week and some back, I really enjoyed the game. Nice Pandemic 2 reference too. |

Yeah and if it wasn't Madagascar it was always some place unbelievable like the United States. How do you not infect the US?! It has ports, airports, and land borders!
I thought it was |
Press Junketeer Posts: 427 Joined: 20 Oct 2008 | Well, it's a very amusing game, but By around the midpoint of the game I had built myself an indestructible beast of a virus and from there on in it was pretty easy. Still, it's a nice concept with fun gameplay. Nice find. |

Pandemic and Pandemic 2 were the ones where you control a virus and kill off the world's population. I liked the introduction of an upgrade system in the sequel. Not saying that choosing a color to decide your powers was a bad thing, but custom is better. Did anybody else notice the crazy names on some of those upgrade proteins had crazy descriptions? One of the early ones was like "The red headed stepchild of" or somthing. On the subject of Madagascar, I made my virus highly infectious and spreadable, with minimal detectivity. Thus I infected the globe, then I changed to DEADLY. Good times... Good times... |
