I know! They totally deserve to get paid for this! |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1909 Joined: 31 Jan 2009 | "How's the air, douchebag?" I love that part between the fish and the guy and him drawing them. LOL at the little kid getting killed "love can bloom on a battle fielded" MGS1 reference ftw Great episode |
Paperboy Posts: 15 Joined: 24 Apr 2008 | This is an underappreciated game for sure. Such a shame that it hasn't sold all that well. Nice episode! |
Copy Clerk Posts: 85 Joined: 19 May 2009 | I never though war could be depicted so peacefully even with the plasma grenade destroying a truck and soldiers shooting two innocent civilians. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 67 Joined: 2 Feb 2009 | The fish insults were particularly hilarious. |

didn't love the accent though, sounded english. |
Paperboy Posts: 39 Joined: 19 Apr 2009 | "Okay, who brought the plasma granade into the game" This unskippable was very well done, even without the puns. |
Paperboy Posts: 24 Joined: 15 Apr 2009 | You know, aside from some of the voice acting this looked like a reasonably decent cutscene to me. Maybe if it had been left in the original Japanese there wouldn't have been any problems. |

Just to stop a nasty rumour from spreading, we do actually get paid for the videos. It's neat! Also, this actually looked like a pretty fun game from the bits I played. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4343 Joined: 9 Jul 2008 | That was fucking hilarious. I was going to say the fish dialogue was funny, but the rest of it was just as good. The pace was consistently hilarious and I can't decide which part was the best. Last week's episode was a bit bland, but this one more than made up for it. Great job. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1564 Joined: 15 Feb 2009 | "I can draw a picture of a fish holding a gun." I laughed so much when Yahtzee reviewed this game and I'm glad Paul and Graham did this too. I laughed aloud at the anthrax bit. Gah, I hate games that make you feel cheesy just by looking at it. You guys are great. |

They already do, if I'm not mistaken. The Escapist pays them to do this. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. 'I said keep your heads down, not run off-shot! Where are you two going?' I lol'd. And isn't Gallia a country in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance? EDIT: They beat me to the 'explaining payment for this' part. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1771 Joined: 18 Nov 2008 | Who knew fish could be so funny? |
Beat Writer Posts: 185 Joined: 28 May 2008 | Ok, I'm sorry, but I actually liked Valkyria Chronicles :/ Still funny though, cause 2/3rds of the game IS cutscenes X_X Why Sega did that is beyond me... |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1218 Joined: 25 Nov 2007 | I maintain that the fish were actually Imperial spies and Fishy Artist McSketcherson was actually capturing their identities for later pursuit by allied sharks. "We have nothing to add to this scene." |

why are we all drinking then spitting out coke? You can't pull off war in a postcard of Holland in spring. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4744 Joined: 20 Mar 2009 | Great episode, as always guys. How can North Bruhl and South Bruhl be perpendicular to eachother? But of course, I always knew out of personal experience that fish were entertaining to listen to. |
Paperboy Posts: 17 Joined: 13 Jul 2009 | Really great guys, what makes this one so wonderful is not the source material, it's the timing, teamwork, and delivery. Congradulations on mastering the craft! I wonder what it would feel like to revisit some of the same games again, further into the story with more cut scenes? The splices would be a hurtle, but maybe not impossibly so. Also for those of you that havent been over to loading ready run in a while, it's a playground of fun! my favourites are Canada man and of course the current commodore hustle series. Fondly, |
