Nice episode this week. The Spiderman extract form the ending is a real nice and funny touch.

Poor John Funk, must have drawn the short straw. I mean, he's not really that much of a sore loser... is he?

Was that a Japanese Spidey/Gundam/Masked Rider Hibiki crossover? God I love Japan. Especially 70s Japan.

Good episode, I have to say I pefer it when the developer interviewee sounds interested, but other than that quite funny, Russ as Xavier was quite tickling...

Everyone's said the game's shit, and worse than the last.

To make a game worse than it's predecessor, now that's impressive.

Oh Funk, You´re so bad at cheating.

Anyway, thank you for reminding me about Vigilante. It so managed to distract me from hearing what that guy had to say. And when I finally managed to undistract myself, you give 70s Japanese Spider-Man. Truly, well done.

Yup. The appropriately titled sentai program "Spiderman."
It was actually one of the ground-breaking sentai programs in Japan. Spiderman was the first sentai program to introduce the concept of having the hero face a human-sized monster and then face the monster at giant-size in the same episode.
Marvel was apparently so proud of this product that they put full episodes of it up on their website.

You know, the thing is, what Funk did is exactly what one of my friends or I would have done in that sort of sore loser situation. Really a very accurate portrayal of playing "guys[1]" as a kid.

[1] Guys is the term my friends and I used for action figures.

That guy is wearing a S.H.I.E.L.D. sweater. Now that is getting into character :)

Well Susan, I'll see your Darth Maul, and raise you a Han Solo

There aren't reading-superheroes?

How 'bout Doctor Strange? Or Batman?

Susan I must point out that the double bladed lightsaber comes with quite a few disadvantages.

Anywho... I will probably get this game since I heard nothing but good news from the last one.

Hmm the games story seems really interesting, but the combat looks like it could get abit repetitive after abit.

Kudos to Susan Arendt for shoving a lightsaber up Supermans spandex clad ass.

Double bladed lightsabers would have an advantage only in 1v2 combat. And unless they have kryptonite in them superman would just break it in half and ball it up like the little wad of tinfoil it is. And don't even tell me about the force. It took Yoda to lift an x-wing fighter. Superman does that in his sleep.

It is almost certain I'll be playing this game. The only question is: now, or later? As it stands, I'm skewed toward later. But a demo might help push that decision to now.

Bah, Han Solo clearly trumps Darth Maul. But he was not an option.

I'd go with Scarlet Witch and make a world in which I win XD

John could just say that Wolverine doesn't have his adamantium skelet right now, or that Magneto is depowered after M day XD
