I was so hoping for Tom to have his own episode, hes awesome, sorry guys, he just beats you ;D

also phwoar...

If there's a God cheat on or something, I guess it explains a lot like when Shanks was bounced around like a pong ball and when they were poisoned by Cooking Mama.

God mode finally kicked in, I guess?
The Adventures of Tom and Ryan, hilarious.
Keep up the good work.

Carne:
Alex Mercer probably has something to do with this.

I'd have to agree

kozmo:
What the hell was that!? the entire episode was weird. One of the weirdest things was the fact that they showed as in the episode that Toad is an extremely well trained soldier but yet from some reason, everyone think he is horrible. If it wasn't for the Michaels invincibility they would have died so many times and yet he is considered by everyone to be horribly untrained.

Seriously, did you see how fast he responded when he heard shanks? Did you see how fast he pooled out his gun and got direct hits to Shanks face even through his other hand was holding Lund and that his pistol was probably in his pocket or something? I have many other points about Toad, but the biggest point is-Toad isn't a wimp. He seems to be a war veteran but yet, from some reason he is considered a wimp.

That doesn't make sense.

It is probably because he is Toad. A typically non-aggressive NPC that relies on a fat Italian plumber to save his kingdom over and over again doesn't seem like the kind of person that would be a well trained gunman. It's atypical and seeing the little amount of talking he did with the Mario's, I'd say they don't know too much about him.

and about the invincibility- I vote for god mode

Do you really think they would go for something that obvious? I suppose it is possible, I would just expect them to be more creative. (Given, with the problem at the end of episode 2 not being resolved, it is likely that the answer would be god mode)

edit: how did shanks look at his forehead, that's impossible, why did the new guys that were killed start screaming in horror after they were shot rather than screaming of pain? And of course there is to ask why did they scream the same before, during and after they were shot without the shot actually making a difference in the tone of the scream?

Video game characters are storming the streets and you are questioning the lack of realism...

Why did toad carry so many weapons if in the last episode he was just leaving Mario that doesn't respect him, rather than just carry a pistol?

It's hard out there for a mushroom. Gotta be prepared.

In short- logic has left the building

That's okay, it really had no place here. Also, that logic guy is kind of boring and ruined the last party I was at. Screw that guy.

OP: This episode kind of got me excited and then dropped me off at the end a little disappointed. I already figured they would still be alive, after all, that TF2 episode kind of proved they could suffer fatal injuries and live. What I wanted to know is why they were able to survive all of this and it looks like I'm going to have to wait till next week.

Two weeks, actually. It is a bitch, but I suppose something gotta give.

yea i was thinking the same you're probably right beacose it was yust the guns and the dead russian bride that disapheared or mabey the bride didin't dunno really

This is a good episode, but probably was the closest thing to a filler episode that I have seen in my life. So 8/10, when the episodes are usually 10/10 for me.

Don't be alarmed, that cracking noise is just the sound of my happy disposition shattering into a thousand pieces as I realize that it will practically be time for Halloween.

Why did toad carry so many weapons if in the last episode he was just leaving Mario that doesn't respect him, rather than just carry a pistol?

In short- logic has left the building

1.) Toad being a super soldier IS THE JOKE, come on really? Logic left the building when video game charactors entered the real world, this whole: The guy who everyone thinks sucks is actually amazing is a pretty standard gag, its not that weird.

2.) Shanks TRIED to look at his forehead, who's to say if he saw it successfully? His eyes looked up, is that impossible? No, I am doing it right now, did a little indicator pop up on the bottom of your screen saying: "Shanks successfully saw the bullet hole in his forehead by looking up"?

3.) Toad carrying so many weapons is another joke, I get its not completely logical, duh, whats the deal anyway? Its annoying when a non logical show tries to be logical in a certain aspect and fails, but this is just an example of a non logical show attempting to be nonlogical and succeeding.

If you don't like the nonlogical nature of the show, don't watch it, but my question is: "Why would you bring this up now at episode TWENTY!" there are like 10,000 other things before this, seriously.

Thanks for clearing that up, I was wondering what that noise was...

I already said in my second comment that I just love this series and the fact that it's story illogical in a funny and awesome way, the problems that I did have are technical illogical problems, and as I said before, it was just nitpicking.

I still think the fact is an extremely well trained soldier in this episode ruins the entire bitch and wimp about Toad.

It annoys me that you misunderstood most of the points I made, but I don't have the power or the will to explain them, and especially after I admitted I was nitpicking

Edit: why is everyone looking only at my first comment? Even those that commented after my second comment ignored it completely as if it doesn't exist and as if I never changed my opinion other my own annoying nitpicking and about the invincibility of the Michals?

Liquid raped them.

Solidly.

Titch007uk:
5) No damage due to friendly fire. This fits nicely assuming they are on the same side for some unknown reason, given that the TF2 abstraction fits, the guns are the same. It's weird that they died from the first shots, but it could just be dramatic lisence.

Except that they didn't die. They only passed out from shock. There are numerous cases where a subject passes out because the brain thinks they should have died. Who wouldn't think they were dead after getting shot in the head?

A similar effect take place with the onset of sleep, where the brain registers the slowdown in body metabolism, thinks the body has died, and responds by sending a jerk through the nervous system to check that the body is still alive.

Toad, he's such a little bitch, eh?

I don't know if anyone else noticed the Roy Brown Mighty Mighty Man reference, but I know I loved it.

My theory is they have Alex mercer's powers, you can't kill Alex Mercer he survived an attack by a tank.
Those who played [Prototype] know that Alex gains his claws by consuming a hunter.
Prototype rules kick ass

Err, Toads attack power is so low even the bullets he fires does nothing?! Anyways, yet another good episode, love the show.

They must be... *GASP* THE CHOSEN ONES!!!!1!!!

Explanation:
Toad just sucks that bad.

Awesome episode, loved the Prey reference.

OK, what the hell just happened in this episode? This is confusing...

Awfully weird but funny strip

Yess. An exciting episode!

nice ep....
i wonder how many people got the 'prey reference...
keep it up.
bitchtits needs a bit more training!

lol, nice ep, and i have that same kind of guitar!

This. This man right here has it all figured out.

PoisonUnagi:
Totally obvious how they survived.

THEY'RE FUCKING PROTAGONISTS.

We have a winner.

I could totally survive that lol. Funny Episode.

Are you actually trying to apply logic to a comedy series about video games you found on the web?

Godmode, it's why Cooking Mama couldn't kill them either.

Heart of Darkness:
I think that we are seeing another effect of Michael poison...maybe.

Toad is still worthless.

what was the first effect??? did we see any affects???

maybe its just toad....i mean all his real perpis in life is to say

'thank you mario but our prinnise is in another chassle'

and yes i did fuck up most of the spelling of most of the words...so FUCK YOU

*shrug* I dunno. I kinda just attributed Lund getting Mercer's memories to the poison.

I could be wrong, though.

God-mode doesn't (usually) leave any flesh wounds.. hmmm...
