Infamous Scribbler Posts: 580 Joined: 25 Apr 2008 | "The M Rated Content was most titillating". Your wit, good sir, cuts like a knife. But seriously, from the way EA is milking the marketing for ME2, it's looking like an interglactic badass shootout fuckfest. It seems that trying to make a BioWare game "sexier" is a running theme for them. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2128 Joined: 28 Apr 2008 | haha, that was great. I'm going to have to make a new playthrough, as I can't remember what the hell I did for any of my saves. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4117 Joined: 23 Apr 2008 | Bwahaha, Dr. Breen is a dirty old man, lol. Anywho, you raise a good point on the issue of the save game thing. I played Mass Effect again only a few months ago, and yet I can't remember for the live of me what I set on each one, heh. I'll probably have to play it through again before ME2. |

Press Junketeer Posts: 419 Joined: 5 Apr 2008 | Haha poor Shephard, because of Fox he'll never get a break over that sex scene. After all it did have "full digital nudity" and "the most realistic sex acts ever concieved". |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 3141 Joined: 8 Jun 2009 | That was hilarious! 'I can be a woman... if you want' XD |
Muckraker Posts: 275 Joined: 17 May 2009 | I'm not too glad with the 'carry over'-function. I would like to continu a savefile where I have a romance with A, and where I saved B (you know what I'm talking about)..but I only saved B in 1 savefile, in which I had a romance with C. Ergo: no savefile with my 2 'criteria'. So I'll have to play ME all over again, or just ignore a bad choice..mweh. |

Dude, if someone hasn't played through Mass effect yet, it's their own damn fault, speak clearly and precicely, what on gods green earth do you mean by ABC? o.O |

It should be pointed out that there will be a choose-your-own starter if you do want to begin again and for those who don't have/never played ME1. |

Now that I agree with you, remember when he interviewed Zoey? "I can be a woman if you want...." hilarious stuff. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2047 Joined: 5 Jun 2009 | Oh man,it's just hilarious. Poor Shepard, ridiculed on national TV! Okay, not really national, and not really TV,but the point still stands. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 720 Joined: 24 Mar 2009 | That was good, and it doesn't surprise me Breen would play a female toon on ME. And Metro could be Breen's Ed McMahon! Heeeeeeeereee's the Administrator! Okay, doesn't quite roll off the tongue the same way.
I agree with you on that thought, even though Opposing Force Shepard was just a itty bitty corporal. Considering the guy is still in limbo, definitely hasn't had any chance for rank advancement. Though he may be so weird in the head by now as well, he's calling himself Admiral Shepard of the Intergalactic House of Pancakes. |

I think developers should make there games more mature. I mean don't make a game thats entirely porn, thats for the japs to do, but Mass Effect was really grown up with their romance plot. |

I'm with you guys. When I saw the title, I was like "SQUEEEEEEEE--", then I saw who it was and... uuuh... Let's just say I don't see eye-to-eye with ME... |

Very well. I have two savefiles. In file 1 I 'dated' Liara, but Wrex died. In file 2 I 'dated' Ashley, but Wrex lived. Of course I want Wrex to be alive in Mass Effect 2, but Liara seems like a much more interesting partner (or whatever she is). And so my problem arises.
A choose-your-own starter? As in, you can choose what Shepard did in ME1, or as in, there is simply one start-option for beginners where Shepard made choices that Bioware thinks are the best for enjoying the game? |

Ah, but remember, Adrian Shephard was a Corporal, not a Commander. Y'see, Shamus, I keep track of what attitude each of my characters have by way of naming. For example, my good character in Fallout 3 was Daniel "Don't Call Me Danny" Lupiero, because nobody ever names a bad guy Danny, right? However, the bad girl of the Capital Wasteland I played on my second playthrough was named Alisha "Sin" Sincavage, because thinking of a heavily-armed and leather-clad woman who calls herself "Sin" makes me happy in my happy places. ...I'm sorry, what were we talking about again? |

I completely agree with you. I really liked the romancing in ME1. However, you should look up what EA is doing marketing-wise with ME2. Take a look at the newest unveiled character: Subject Zero. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsefCmNAQR4 Now maybe it's the direction that BioWare wants to take it in, but I feel EA's heavy hand behind this. |
