Although this is dangerous airspace, I think they cleverly cleaned up after themselves.

The black guy survived longer than anyone in Night of the Living Dead, and that was the original zombie movie.

(And the only good one, other than the comedies.)

L4D was intended to be an homage to zombie movies, so cheesiness was kinda par for the course. Mocking it for its overly seriousness would be like mocking an energy drink for having too much caffeine. That being said, that was still really good.
