didn't finish it...not bad for 10 year-olds i guess

For 1 person being all the part, nicely done.

...okay, nice job, very nice job, but just one question. Not to you, but to escapist:
What happened to "no copyrighted material" rule? Seriously, did I miss something and now WoW, Half Life and Metal Gear are now all public domain?

I wouldn't say there's anything considerably terrible about the feature.
Some more consideration put into the cinematography and it's potential might increase.

Aye, kudos for that, must've been quite annoying to sort out.

However, having one person doing everything did make for poor cineamatography during the fighting scenes I found, what with the result that you have no idea when to time everything, so there is a massive delay between someone firing a gun and someone being hit at points, and it really did make the fight at the end seem poorly done.

I also thought that shooting the video in your [the OP's] own house wasn't that suitable for a Metal Gear Solid-based video. Maybe other games, but not MGS. Just something about the whole army soldier style that doesn't seem that suitable when set in a Western Civilisation house.

Still, good effort for your age, especially as you were the only person starring in it.

So the "Facility" is some guy's house and the guards all wield sci-fi like laser guns?
All in all though, I have to applaud you playing all the roles yourself and making it work, more or less.

Well had do be a lot of annoying work yet I honestly can't see that featured on escapist for good.
Seems more like a one time thing. Grow up (I mean literally not in a bad meaning) and send something again when you are a bit older and with more experience.
Also get some of your friends to work with you. The "one man all roles" thing is respectful but it doesn't make for good cinematography. Also some sound effects other than just music would be great.

I saw it all but I agreed.

Only just realised that.

It was alright. Keep making videos and gather friends to help you. You could become the next LoadingReadyRun one day.

Personally, I thought it was rubbish. You really need several people for these sorts of things. Or an income.

Just needed to be tightened up in editing, (not a cinematography issue) then the sequences would have flowed much more smoothly.
Good job. One suggestion I would make, though, would be to blank out the number plate of the car in the drive, unless you want people visiting!

Aside from that, well done!

I felt you did well for your age and for a one man show, however I think your in a bit over your head. Try joining an acting group or getting more into drama. A bit of vocal work and some more originallity like what doomsday arcade do. Otherwise it's commendable, I can't see it winning.

That's some backdrop, I wouldn't mind living in such a location. :P
