Actually, upon re-reading that I noticed the answer to my question was in the article. They're coming in January. I suppose the reason they want to is because on their site they have to pay for the upkeep and everything, whereas if they host on this site they don't pay a thing, in fact The Escapist pays them!

No. Uncharted 2. MW2 was also bland and uninspiring, but apparently they went with the one with the prettier graphics.

Nah, They are still going to keep their old site. The only difference is that the weekly videos and CH will be posted here, and they will make money from them. Honestly, its the biggest win-win in ever.

Actually, the biggest win-win in ever was when Yahtzee started making videos for the escapist. He got payed, became famous, and wrote Mogworld, while the escapist's traffic boosted dramatically, and put the escapist on the map, overcoming the fact that before him it was just a an obscure video game journalist site, and making people pay attention to it, paving the way for all the other great video series's on this site, like ENN, Unskipable, Apocalypse Lane, Doomsday Arcade, etc.

Honestly, I dont take the VGA awards seriously, since it's mainly for douche bag's in their late teens to mid 30's.
I'm 16 and I hardly ever think an FPS is The best of its year. It's like L4D2 getting nominated, that's ridiculous. Uncharted 2 is just the same game as last time but with pretty graphics. CoDMW2 is the same game as last time with more overpowered guns and a terrible campaign.
