Robot Dinosaurs that Fire Lasers when they Roar: Best. 10 minutes. EVER. Really, I think that my head just exploded by this amazing game.
Ha, my comment got printed, nice! Yeah, Spewer was probably my favorite this year, but Today I Die was also amazing, if in a different way.
Oh hey, my comment got printed, cheers! I didn't realise it at the time, but Amateur Surgeon was actually made by someone I know from another site. Great to see the #1, it's a lovely game for sure. Also, it's interesting to note that all five came in a six-week period, and would've been all together if it hadn't been for Paper Moon.
I'm saddened by the lack of Time Fcuk.
Guess what #6 was? :P | |
Today I Die wasn't much of a game perhaps, but it's almost perfect in it's simplicity.
Today I Die was an emotional experience
Robot Dinosaurs that Fire Lasers when they Roar, like come on. With a title this good, there's no way the game would be bad. Surely my favorite. :p
Yay, my comment was in there. Great list. I especially enjoyed playing "Robot Dinosaurs That Shoot Beams When They Roar" and "Today I Die". May the new year bring even more great games (hopefully).
Despite lacking Time Fcuk, thatīs a pretty nice list of nice games. From last yearīs supply, I also found Fig. 8 and Donīt Look Back enjoyable, to mention but a few. I hope you keep Alt+Escape up and running for at least another year. I love it.
I had a great time with cat got lost. It was awesome.
Robot Dinosaurs Who Shoot Lasers When They Roar was a great way to kill ten minutes ;)
that game was awesome. | |
Glad to see Spewer on that list. Odd as it may sound, that thing is probably one of my all-time favourite games..
I was quoted, eh? That's quite Dino-Tastic.
I shall have to go through this at another opportunity in time.
I didn't realise there was another ending for Today I Die...
\o/ I got quoted! I feel real famous-like! :D Excellent choice for Number One. I'm playing that as soon as we can ditch the house-guests. <3
Just played Today I Die and it was awesome
There's another ending?
Hells yeah Today I Die. It even has a version in Portuguese so I can show to all my non-nerd friends that gamers have the right to be stuck-up artsy jerkasses as well. (Seriously, though, it's awesome.)
MAAAAAAAAN | |
I was also expecting this to make it. I still say it's a pretty damn good list, though. I'm especially happy you guys decided to include Robot Dinosaurs because I had forgotten just how epic that game is.
Alt+F4 makes you win the game! Try it!
My comment was used SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I wish that the alternate ending had been a little less tongue-in-cheek and I wish I hadn't misused my prefixes, but great list, regardless.
Well, I'm speechless. I didn't think anyone would ever quote me on recommending a game.
Looking through all the Alt+Esc fair here is my personal top 5. 5.Trap Master 4.Frantic 2 3.Robot Dinosaurs That Shoot Beams When They Roar 2.Spewer 1.Time Fcuk So as you can tell I like puzzle/action games.
I just found it :) | |
I don't think I've ever enjoyed an artsy game as much as I enjoyed Today I Die. Seriously beautiful piece of work.
Please put a spoil box around that.

Some of mine included: Today I die
