So, just move on if you don't like it and show your support if you do. I'm glad to see that some of us aren't going on a huge hate spree. Hell, I'm glad to see some of you give a simple "Meh, not my thing..." and move on, like a mature adult!

I don't know about that... If everyone that didn't like it just moves on without explaining why they didn't like it, where does the constructive criticism come from? People who just say "'Meh, not my thing...' and move on, like a mature adult" Don't really help the show, do they? Russ Pitts is one of those aforementioned mature adults. He can take the criticism.

That's not precisely what I mean, but you make a good point...
I mean don't obsess over something you don't like, nothing wrong with constructive criticism.

Anyhow, I've said all I wanted to say and now I feel like I'm putting too much time and effort into this. So, I hope the show does well, it probably will. Hell, look at all the attention it's getting, lol! It's been on less then a day and already has 7 pages of comments, pretty good.

Just don't take this cartoon or myself seriously ;)

It made me giggle, a bit but it wasn't worthy of laugh out loud. However this was only the first episode and I believe this show can become really good just like Apocalypse lane. It was rubbish the first few episode but now look at it, it's brilliant. So in conclusion, good work guys.

Lonely Swordsman:
seriously, who even plays that anymore? let alone gives two craps about the "controversy"?)

Yeah who still plays boring old tabletop games anymore... oh yeah only an estimated 20 million by 2004 and an estimated 6 million in 2007 alone and that's not counting all the other games and systems on the market. [1] Also, way to miss the point. Granted by your comment I take it you are not old enough to remember all those crazy controversies of the 80's(the show being set in the 80's when these were very much in the news), so I can't fault you too much, but the show is taking a crack at all those by juxtaposing that with someone actually getting hurt by his own clumsiness, not due to trying to emulate something from the game.

Hmm...well it was better than I expected. In truth that's not saying much, but I think it was better than Apocalypse Lane. I'd be lying if I said I laughed out loud, but I did smile, and it does seem to have potential. Considering it was the pilot, and if some (preferably most, or all) of the slapstick was replaced by witty writing, I think it would be genuinely funny.

Looking forward to the next episode to see if it improves. Besides, it'd probably be healthy for me to be exposed to something furry that isn't pornography for once.

100xp points. alright first ep, would like to see more before i know if i like it or not

also worried that the Girl will become similar to Tex from RVB

What was wrong with tex? I found her the weakest character in the series but I didn't hate her because I couldn't put my finger on what made her the worst.

O.T: I like the show, keep it up. Apocalypse lane is like just like this, some people love it and others hate it, I never really like apocalypse lane but this is good. I still don't think they need to be dogs but than can be said about everything with animals instead of people.

Oh no you misunderstand, tex was a good character that i liked except that im afraid that this character will almost copy it,

Yeah, doesn't look any good to me.

Apocalypse lane still hasn't made me laugh, though, so this probably won't either.

That was pretty good! Hope you keep it up.

I thought it was great had quit a few good laughs and will definitely be something to watch

S'alright, bad trailer I think

I enjoyed it, though it could be better. Everything was great except the mouths and rapid movement. Just seemed too unnatural to me. (Before you say anything, yes, I realize it's a show about anthropomorphic dogs in a game business. That's beside the point.)

Jon was probably the best in this episode. I can tell I'm going to like Gary.

Pretty good. Want moar!

This is supposed to be funny? Dungeons and Dogs?

I must admit that I was a bit sceptical to the premise, but this was quite entertaining.
100xp to you.

I absolutely love this show. Its nice to see furries in a positive light. And of coursnerd culture jokes are always awesome. Can't wait to see more. :P

I'm looking forward to more, this show looks like it's going to be allot of fun...
But I really hope we stop calling them furries soon, no disrespect.

xD, people's responses to Furries is a lot like the opening of Borat and what they thought of jews.

Really people, grow up, if you are finding anything wrong with this, it is a result of your own thoughts.

Lol, I think I didn't phrase myself in the right way. I like furries and even if I didn't I wouldn't have a problem with them. I just don't think furries is the correct term for this show (probably is if you get into specifics, I just don't get the impression that was the show's intention)

I will agree that it's like there's a crusade going on against furries. It's not like they've ever done anything to deserve such mass criticism (sure allot of their art is kinky and their costumes are just plain creepy, but despite this, Anime's pretty damn well accepted!) And hell, anthropomorphic characters have been around since Disney, what the hell sparked this giant wave of hatred towards furries specifically? Hell, even anything that resembles furries!

I liked this one. it was much better than the really boring trailers made it out to be.
its still not great though

After watching the episode a second time I for some reason found it funnier, and I think it may be because of what you said. As a pilot episode, when the first thing you see is slapstick you tend to get a bad vibe, but then keeping in mind that it was intentional as an ironic statement clears things up, as opposed to thinking the show was genuinely going down the road of slapstick humor. I also found the writing funnier the second time around, though I'm not sure I can explain that.

Overall I'm much more impressed and would even go so far as to consider the pilot "good".

The "Animated in front of a live studio audience" thing needs to go though.

Got a few chuckles out of me but still has a long way to go. Animation seemed Jerky at some times and the jokes still need some work. But hey it's only a short way from a chuckle to a laugh.

Though there is a big wall blocking the short path called Delivery.

aha that was great! defentilly going to be following this series. I like it!

smirked a couple of times but it was a bit meh tbh, ill keep looking in hope though

This was good, but it could've been better. Also, if this was Animated in front of a live audience, where's the sound track? Either add a soundtrack or remove the "Animated in Front of a Live Studio Audience" thing.

bad animation, Gary and Chet seem vaguely cliché, I have a hard time believing someone who's apparently so smart would confuse something metal for something gummy like that, but then he doesn't even have a d4; I smiled, but in spite of myself, like with a pun that isn't very good; C-, or C if I'm feeling generous

kinda meh but it seems like the sort of thing that could find itself and get pretty damn good

Well, looks like I know what I'm watching every thursday.

I lol'd at the 100xp points and that was it. Not the greatest sorry guys.

I didnt really find it funny, I didnt laugh. Oh well, its not everyones cup of tea

Mmmeeh, can't say I really liked it. But I'll give another episode a chance, just in case.

Not bad, not bad. I just hope they don't pad everything with a dog pun like I think they will.

Also, only a fucking moron would bring a friggin sword to a D&D game.

... Crossbows are much cooler, and you can find them at almost any sports store.

Wow, I will be watching this. This is great. Poor Gary, but at least it was worth 100 experience points.

Some giggles on my part, I'll watch a couple more episodes before I give up on it. Way better than Apocalypse Lane though.

they hookt me right from the first mention of it being "dungeons & dogs" I love that they played on the dog factor and as a pen and paper rpg nerd I enjoyed the episode, 3/5 for me for giving a few good chuckles

I enjoyed. Good random laughs. And poor Gary, omg... his nose was like a waterfall. xd

I'll be looking forward for next thursday.

Oh, I understand now, I wouldn't be suprised if she does become similar to tex, most shows ends up having someone like tex at some point.

a classic case of humans always having to find something to hate, wasen´t long ago Anime nerds where pointed out as being freaky mostly thanks to the Hentai subculture, now when Anime has been so accepted the perpetual haters of anything "strange" and "crazy" has moved to furries doing the same thing of purposely staring on the "bad" aspects of furry community like pervy fursuits and such.

I have to admit, I definitely like it. After all, who doesn't like having a good chuckle?
