You are very right in saying animation takes time and athough animation has slowed down recently I will say that newgrounds has had quiet a few animators producing work on a weekly to bi weekly bases with good quality. The angry dog series is an example if you want one. Even though it has een at it's end for sometime now all episodes where made on a weekly bases. Besides animation is nothing if you don't have a good and diverse voice acting team Don't take this comment the wrong way as I'm simply supporting my previous comment. I understand tat the contributers to the escapist are very busy as it is without me putting in my two cents worth of critiziusm. | |
Don't get me wrong guys I appreciate the effort, but honestly what's with all the new shows? Shouldn't you guys just focus more on a couple rather than make a lot. | |

I'm sorry did you say Angry Dog was produced weekly basis? I can't seem to find a source for the information so if you could provide one I'd be much obliged. As far as Doraleous goes I think you're basing a LOT of your opinion on a 45 second trailer with a few scattered clips. And while the animation my not look like a Disney film, for being produced in a WEEK with a run time of over 5 minutes... I'd say it works for what it needs to do. You can point to other samples on Newgrounds all you like but please offer a link because I would like to see these shows. As far as the voice acting comment, again, your basing a lot on a short clip. Watch the show on Thursday and see what you think. If you think the voice acting still sucks then you can send us your reel. | |
