Stolen Pixels #170: Humans First
Tehehehe. I didnt even like ME2.
hehe come to think of it... your right..
Hahahaha, oh man, I love Stolen Pixels
OH GOD, its been spoilered for me! NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... Oh wait, spoiler warning, nevermind, ignore my cries of horror.
man, so your sticking with the ME2 comics, cant wait for it to pass, they really don't hold their own as a illustrated funny.
Ha, that was a good one...
I love the last pic. His expression fits so well with the text. I'm not sure but, even in the original mass effect Cerberus is described as a pro-human organization, which would be even funnier. I could be wrong though, I forget which game certain bits of info come from. I think I'll boot up Mass Effect and check the codex now... EDIT: I've read the Mass Effect 2 plot analysis on Twenty Sided. It seems there's a lot of things that could be made fun of but I guess this is the only thing that wouldn't be a spoiler.
Rear Admiral Kahoku described them in a side quest in ME1 as an Alliance black ops organisation that has gone missing in the last few months. And then says he just found out they've gone completely rogue. By the way, I tried hard not to spoil myself about ME2's plot, but I caved in finally when the plot analysis in shamus' blog taunted me for the nth time.. Turns out I wasn't missing all that much hehe
Yeah the main plot isn't too great but all the side stuff is great.
Sounds like they're a group similar to PETA, who kill 95% of the animals they intend to save.
Great work, looking foreword for more ME2 based comic.
i never heard of cerberus in ME, which mission was it?
Side missions only. You face some agents on a few planets. Anywho: YOU RUINED THE GAME! Nah. I'm just too busy with Bioshock 2 to finish up ME2.
Hehe, I remember that...like any organisation...so many hypocrits!
Ha,so true | |
Too bad I read the comic first and ask questions later... or read the description :P
where did Mr. Shepard's boobs go? KEEP THEM, for lulz sakes!
Haha, excellent. One does wonder if that IS what he means at times...
awesome stuff | |
I really hope we get the choice to kill them in ME3, I really want to eliminate them.
Could one say this group "serves" humankind?
Zing! | |
Zing indeed. I have a strong sense that it's becoming increasingly difficult to please everyone in terms of spoilers. Better safe than sorry though I suppose.
I am Not an appetizer! I am dessert.
Yeah it gets even more confusing if your savegame for ME1 was a Sole Survivor that did all the Cerebus side-quests. "Uhh...wait a tic. Who want me to work for them?"
Hey Thresher Maw! Put down that horse d'oeuvre, it's time for the main course!!
That has to be the most cringe-worthy pun I've hear all day! *Groan* I'm not sure I agree with the plot analysis completely. Most of my complaints are solved in the end though when you acknowledge that all of these holes are likely going to be covered in the third game. Still I'd like to question! I'll try and spoiler it: There we go. Done. :)
Danny, allow me to explain some things you didn't know from the spoilered quote.
Don't forget about the quarian homeworld, which is currently the planet of Geth. Also, not sure if you can use "genocide" when it's a machine.
Well, about a... And b - They were in the Terminus Systems, helping slavers capture all kinds of creatures.
a. Boss was organic + metal.
b. FTL travel and Reaper technology. Don't forget, ship you meet later (after the first cutscene) was severely damaged by the turrets on the colony you visit, where you see Ashley/Kaiden. About the bug - I have an explanation. If you want a Paragon, when Mordin Solus first gets onto your ship, and you stop him with the Paragon action, not the Renegade one, Shepard will say they have managed to get some samples from the colony, the one where Veetor and Tali were found. And about the Final Choice - apparently, the action you take and whether it's a good thing to do or bad depends... on your character's main choice. Paragon: a) Destroying the base means Cerberus cannot use it for evil Renegade: a) Destroying the base - rebellion against the Cerberus, or wasting a great chance to defeat Reapers. The fact is - your crewmates are mad at you if you keep the base, either because they are alien and Cerberus gets the Reaper technology, or they are mad because they worked for Cerberus and don't like their boss losing a valuable asset.
Great as always | |
Shamus has ruined my life. I DIDN'T WANT TO KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! Maybe I should go buy the game now.
You mind if I use this as an excuse for when I get suspended for a low content post? :D OT: YAY! ME2 Comics! (And bring back the man boobs)
Heh heh. Kinda like how PETA kills more animals than all the animal shelters in the US combined.
I feel I have to reiterate this point: the organization itself is named after a fecking three-headed dog from HELL. How could anything named after THIS be anything but evil??? It's all a big giant - ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL
All I had to do was watch the trailers and it was as if I had already played the game, considering how many spoilers are in the ACTUAL TRAILERS FOR THIS GAME!!... Sure, names aren't exposed, but seriously... not that hard to figure out, kids. ;D
