For all those who missed Yahtzee's April Fool's joke hidden on the site.

SO it's him reading an erotic novel? o.o

Not quite sure what the joke is here...

what? i think i might have missed the point. what is this all about?

... Okey...

Ours was funnier!

This was just... weird.

Whatever that was, it went over my head. Anyone care to enlighten me?

well.... Okay then... just what?

...
......
.........
....
...
..what?

Where was it hidden? i had no idea :o

Such dark melancholy. Within the his heart and beneath all his rage, lies the soul of a poet

But then they release another jrpg and all shit breaks loose

wait what? where was this hidden? haha

....Ok, so it's Yahtzee reading Ode to Melancholy. For some odd reason, I laughed.

EDIT: Lol, bastion of intelligent discussion among the internet, eh? I think NOT!

It was well placed in the hidden joke from earlier :)

0_o Well that was weirdly creepy.

I think the main joke is that Yahtzee was talking slowly and completly deadpan.

A better April fools might have been a positive review of an obviously bad game, like a movie tie in. However doubt Yahtzee was willing to go that low for a bad joke.

Yeah, I saw it. But sorry to say, I don't get the joke. I fail to see the humour.

Keep up the good critiscism though. It is essential in an internet that likes nothing better than giving game designers the verbal "Romantic novel" treatment.

Nothing was hidden in fact it says that so you will watch and get fooled even though its the second of april...

That was creepy.... Funny, but creepy

He was speaking completely differently from his usual videos, slow and monotone with big breaks :P

I liked it

The joke was hidden in one of the other recent videos, check a few of them out to see which one. ;)

he should had reviewed Indigo Prophecy XD

....?

Fixed.

I don't get it, like many others don't.

Ooh well, we be waiting for your "Unbiased criticism" like we always do. =]

I guess you had to be there, huh?

Kragg:
Where was it hidden? i had no idea :o

duchaked:
wait what? where was this hidden? haha

Part-way through an episode of Game Dogs

It was hidden in one of yesterdays video's. I went "WTF", then went "oh April Fool"

Deleric:

As did I...
As did I...

How is this an April fools?

Looks like I'm not the only one who didn't get it

Ummm.... okay...good stuff...like...what ever..

Aw man, now I really want a pipe and a classy chair.

(chuckles) Its amusing how you guys dont get how he's fucking with us.

He read an extract from the "Ode To Melancholy", a distinctly depressing choice on the assumption that his loyal yet brainless fanbase would all watch it with bated breath waiting for some Yahtzee brand venomous hilarity on April Fools.

You got us good, Yahtzee, you twanker

Part-way through an episode of Game Dogs

That would probably explain why no one found it.

Okay, first:

Secondly:
It's rather unsettling to hear Yahtzee talking in a slow, calm, collected manner; a stark contrast from the usual erratic style.

Good show, I was certainly surprised.

Oh bloody hell... what are they teaching you kids in school these days? Certainly not Keats, by the sound of things. How is that an erotic novel?

Gahhhhhhhhh.

I didn't see it because I didn't get around to watching Game Dogs yet, still gotta catch up after my few weeks offline... but yeah, I like. Nice to see an intelligent April Fool's joke, there's not many of them around these days.

Yeah, sorry, that would be me thinking of another thing.

That thing being School Days.
That thing I'm writing a review of in my spare time (I.e. right now.)

...Yeah. My bad.

So wait, that was an April Fool's joke? Weird.
