For all those who missed Yahtzee's April Fool's joke hidden on the site.
There was no joke hidden on the site. That's the joke. You're supposed to go looking for it or something. but... there's no joke. hah... ahah...ahahahah...ha?
hamster mk 4: I think the main joke is that Yahtzee was talking slowly and completly deadpan.
A better April fools might have been a positive review of an obviously bad game, like a movie tie in. However doubt Yahtzee was willing to go that low for a bad joke.
GunStunt567: (chuckles) Its amusing how you guys dont get how he's fucking with us.
He read an extract from the "Ode To Melancholy", a distinctly depressing choice on the assumption that his loyal yet brainless fanbase would all watch it with bated breath waiting for some Yahtzee brand venomous hilarity on April Fools.

He did that with Duke Nukem Forever though.
That's not quite the same, as Duke Nukem Forever is a nonexistent game.
Ahhh, I get it. The video was in the middle of GameDogs before, but he put it here now because they took it out of GameDogs after April Fool's Day. I missed when it happened, though, too bad.
I was trying to find someone else who said it first so I wouldn't have to bring it up. I've always liked his voice, but oh my I think he needs to read poetry slowly to us more often. Especially poetry that seems to be about oral sex. Hnng.

Thank you!!! Man... I didn't get the angry "are you high?" responses I expected. :P
Wow. It's amazing how people jump to ridiculous conclusions when there's a problem they can't solve I didn't check the site on April 1st, I had more important things to be doing so I don't know if I missed some sort of joke or not. Don't really care either. Either way, what he's reading is Ode on Melancholy by John Keats, or at least the last few lines of it. Put very simply, it's poem about how pleasure can act as a mask for sorrow, hence the Ode on Melancholy. There's more to it, of course, but that's general jist. It is not about oral sex.
I like the people who are calling everyone who doesn't get the joke an idiot, and then when they "explain" the joke, they're completely wrong
OT, I think it would be much funnier if I saw that in the episode of game dogs it appeared in, but since I refuse to watch that show, I guess I'll never know
When I first saw the joke in the Game Dogs episode, I thought it would end up to be a jump-scare...So I kinda skipped through it...And I keep doing it!
That's what I figured. Whatever, I laughed, just because of how out-of-[Escapist]-character he was.
