Zoids Assault

Courtroom sketches finally get their own game.

Watch Video

Holy cow that's a lot of text!

Nice episode.

"And he explained to me what it was"
"It was plans"
Awesome.

Damn that game looks TERRIBLE!

Calumon: I thought the three year war would go on for 5 years, 8 tops!

It's probably because of how tired I was, but I found the endless text endlessly amusing.

I'm somewhat tempted to hunt down and play this game now.

Very, very nice job guys. I actually jumped when I heard ingame talking.

"METAL GEAR!" That caught me completely by surprise :D

Wait.. isn't zoids about giant animal-shaped robots? And not about military courts?

Took 2 minutes to get to a voice...WHAT THE HELL?!

This was so boring, that it was hard to sit through, even WITH you guys commenting.

This is not an Unskippable I will ever be able to rewatch.

Anyway, I believe it's actually a Strategy game.

Man I haven't felt sorry for these guys since MGS4. Once again the Japanese game= epic fail.
Commentary was still pretty good considering what they had to work with.

dude i was about to buy this game at gamestop I'm glad i didn't now

Metal gear!!!!!!!!!!!!
Professor X is not too happy

OMG the beginning part was so bad because ti had no sound all it was a static picture and text.

that was the mos bollocks opening of a game i have ever experienecd. it was like watching parliment mixed with crappy fan fiction. the highlight of the whole video was when they called the weapon "metal gear"

I guess it's a sign of talent when you can make even the most boring intro sequence ever into something amusing.

Oh god.
That was the single most boring cutscene in any video game ever. I mean, jesus MGS may talk forever but at least the subject is usually mildly interesting like someone getting shot or war or some shit.

That was the dumbest opening I've ever seen. Thanks Unskippable for making it bearable

I literally almost fell asleep during this video. Not because of Graham and Paul, they kept me going it was because of the boringness of the game features.

That has to be the most boring cut scene sense Eternal Sonata.

GOOD, GODDAMN F*CK

That was DULL

Good job guys, though you didn't have much to work with

I think that the developers uses static images just to save their budget money.

But then again, it's all boring.

So where were the Zoids?

LIGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meh i got half way through before turnign it off, which is amazing concidering i love Unskippable! I think it was the lack of moving pictures.

Western badass and a doctor.

Cleef, you are the motherfucking man!

Calumon: I thought the three year war would go on for 5 years, 8 tops!

The Hundred Years' War went on from 1337 to 1453

Am I the only one who nearly fell asleep?

Seriously, that was boring as all hell...

This wasn't a real courtroom. In a real one Pheonix would stand up and shout objection!
...I was waiting for a Pheonix Wright joke... Seriously though, 2:10 before any sound in the damn cutscene and all was like blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, geez

Wait, I missed something. Someone rewind the video!

Next up Ben STein read Droning Russian Folk songs!

Ok, watching that made long for a JRPG, I had no fucking idea what was happening. Fuck all happened in this video. JRPGs are better than this and that's saying something. It was so bland that all the jokes that Paul and Graham made weren't funny at all.

Haha, I think Ben Stein would be an improvement to that cutscene. "Wow."

webrunner:

you are correct... and the premis while being kind of childish still had it's real interest in me, yet where ever I look I find nothing but half-assed products anywhere to the franchise.

I have seen an early trailer for the game a while ago and I was hooked as I really liked the "simple", turnbased gameplay, reminiscent of what I had in the first Frontmission on the SNES but once again, are they actually even TRYING? Like, AT ALL?!

The Cartoons (I have seen 2 of some seasons), relatively okay and enjoyable, not much annoying, some humor but the animation and the stories were lacking to no end and at times plotholes you could drive a damn tanker-ship through left me wanting to smack the idiots that churned it out half-finished.

And now this game starting to look like a mini-budget title like the Onechambara games were originally in Japan before they milked the rest of the world with 40 bucks + 20 dollar DLCs.

I swear, the gameplay better be solid...

You get the Joke! Huzzah!

Calumon: What joke? Huh? What Joke? Jack! What Joke?

What a dull game. They couldn't get anyone to read the newspaper stuff at all, Really??

RedFox042:

that was the only part of the meeting i came for

JaredXE:
So where were the Zoids?

I beleve that's the question everyone's thinking. Looks like we'll never know...

Well there was something like 10 years of peace in between...

And yeah the cutscene was bad. Very bad. METAL GEAR?!?!

I dread to imagine what the opening was like if what followed was that boring.

Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb.

JaredXE:
So where were the Zoids?

LIGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what I was thinking. How in the hell can something based off of Zoids be so damn boring?
