Yahtzee vs The Angry Video Game Nerd the ultimate showdown! Who would win?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiRH47J_zuI

Funniest ZP in a while. I laughed pretty damn hard.

AwesomeFerret:
To be honest, while I admire that Yahtzee is finally finding a chance to expand upon himself as a human being, this whole Yahtzee and Mayes thing could become a problem. If Yahtzee falls in love, he will lose all of his soul-less murderous contempt for any game which does not meet his standards and will promptly take a much nicer opinion of the world. And that funny shit is what we love about him!

Don't worry, love won't last very long, when Yahtzee reviews her song.

Your Buffalo Bill comment had me loling haha

You do realize Yahtzee that Shadow's seeing through walls bit is an attempt to give you the feel of having access to Shadow's other senses (hearing, smell etc.) which are much more sensitive than a human's.

Great review like always.. keep up the good work can`t wait for the next one. cheers

I found this episode to be a better installment of late. I'm not certain why. The "Dead to Rights Re__" gag may have helped. It also may have helped that this games simply provided better material. In either case, good show and wot.

Pity Rebbecca wishes the lyrics suggestions to be posted to her facebook page as I refuse to sign up for facebook after signing up for all those other social networking sites only to have porn spammers on my friend lists. And I never talk to them, either.

So this will be like pissing in the ocean, no one will even taste it, but my suggestion is as follows:

Caustic wit that cannot be fake-ed
I wonder what he looks like naked

An awkward rhyme since it requires the word "faked" to be pronounced as two syllables. That hasn't been done for five hundred years outside of a Shakespeare production. This is why I'm not Bernie Taupin. That and the whole rich and gay thing.

Please. This *is* Yahtzee Croshaw we're talking about. The man who hates humanity. He'll probably sneer derisively, tell her she isn't on tune or on key and walk away, having reduced her to a sobbing, blubbering wreck- and then he'll spin back around and tell her he hates her, too. He'll say he hates her even worse because she's such a shitty singer and can't hold a tune in an extra-large bucket filled with Super Glue. And if the tune was a marble... of crap.

That game looks Dead To Rights: Retarded.

...And this is why i have come to love my DS so very much.

Meh, one of another games that I had to just take one look and it already didn't seem to like it.

Still, kewl as always, Yahtzee.

Mogworld.

Is this a book about World of Warcraft?

Another funny review.

Hm, never played this game series but i recall Arnold playing a guy called Jack Slater in Last Action Hero. Judging by this review he could fit the character quite well

Dead Raen:

Though he did say the game was functional, which is better than usual.

Yahtzee never says a game is good! Not since Portal, anyway. People watch Zero Punctuation to hear him Gripe, not Gush.

And Yahtzee knows it, as he said himself: "There are a few nitpicks I could make but I wouldn't be the critic I like to think I am if I didn't pick nits like an amphetamine-fueled chimp"

Manorexia is my new favorite word.

This review was Dead to Rights: Revolutionary

loved it!

Liked Maye's costume.

So basically the controls and combat are good but the game is too easy and the story shitty-crap... Nothing new.

Great observation on the sequels always starting with the letters "RE". And of course by doing so you've already set up a joke for your review on Red Dead Redemption. I see what you did there. Nice.

why is madgonia in Africa?

Racist bastard

what s the episode that made the imps so famous?
i watched them all, but there is not one showing off the imps too much.

A Limerick:

There once was a man called Yahtzee,
one day he was feeling rather catsy.

So he rented a game,
much to his shame.

Now he's a great patsy!

She wants to write a song about Yahtzee but needs us to facebook her idea lyrics and the like? Excuse me, that's sort of ruining the point!

On topic: I wasn't sure where you were going with the end bit but I emitted a glee filled laugh when it was over. Marvelous.

His "The Darkness Demo" review.

His "The Darkness Demo" review.

[snip video]

I'm still disappointed he didn't use a song by The Darkness but on retrospect, that might have been too easy.

oh man, this one was really really really really funny!
I think it made me lol more than any other one this year so far. Great work.

That review actually made me want to buy it. If only i had an xbox to play it on.... :(

A love song for Yahtzee you say? 'Oh How I long to here his words, feel his hat and . . .

Ok, so Im not a poet, so sew me

Great review, good idea with all the Dead to Rights: stuff. The dog bits however do bring a new angle to the game.

Ugh, I saw some gameplay videos for this and is it me or does this seem like a Gears of War knock-off?

(======3

all the rere stuff was great!
Rere... that is a mental retardation thing innit?
Any way, cheers to a hilarious entry with a wholly appropriate word-of-the-day worthy use of recidivism.
