Inception

This week MovieBob takes a look at the dreamy Inception.

Watch Video

The best movie of Christopher Nolan's career? Wow. Getting up from computer to go see it right now.

I stopped at the spoiler warning.

I'll definitely go see it this week.

Best NON PIXAR movie? Cerebral?

Sold.

Oh-ho-ho yeah. I've been waiting for this one for a while.

Oh, and the link to the Intermission is broken.

Okay, stopped at the spoiler warning. Really want to see this now.

Thanks for the spoiler warning man. I didn't watch the review beyond that point (you told me what I wanted to know).

Just posting to say I appreciated the warning.

I am definetly going to see this movie now, however I live in Australia so I shall have to wait an extra agonising week to get my chance. But still I maintain it will be worth it.
It looks awesome.

I stopped at the spoiler waring also, although i can't see it quite yet as it is 1:37am and it is also not out here yet, damn, i have to wait a whole 5 days to see MovieBob's review.

Hell I got the Matrix the first time I saw it. And really HOW do you miss the political commentary in District 9, when they set it in South Africa? We've all seen Lethal Weapon 2. Dreams within a dream isn't that hard to follow, since every TV series and their spin-offs has done the screw with reality episode.
I was worried that this film was going to be a little top heavy in that it was going to be all allegory and commentary on the human condition. Looks like I was right but the angle about

is actually interesting. This is the first time I've actually been great-full for 'spoilers'. Thanks again Movie Bob! :)

I hate you so much right now MovieBob! I can't watch you video! For the last year and a bit I have been activly avoiding any kind of spoilers related to this movie beyond the whole weird statement Nolan gave when he first announced the movie.

Anyway, better than TDK? Really? Wow. It just gets better and better.

Daaamn could only enjoy up to the spoiler warning this week. I really don't want to know about it thanks.

I'll watch it all when I see the film.

GOTTA SEE THIS MOVIE

thanks for the warning tho.
didnt heed it and wish i had

I really can't wait to watch this now. I hadn't even noticed it until Movie Bob did this.

Oh, and thanks for the Spoiler warning.

has anyone seen any of the negative reviews floating around? They're HILARIOUS. I shouldn't be that surprised that Inception might be Nolan's best film as he's had the idea for it since he was SIXTEEN. Hopefully this gets the Oscar nom it deserves (hell, Nolan better get a Nom for best director)

what was the one movie waaaay back before the matrix did this exact same concept only with i think less cgi only the concept didnt really blow any minds then, oh right existenz.

Shall be seeing this tonight, only hope the theatres aren't too crowded....ah, who am I kidding, I'm gonna need a cattle-prod to get through the crowds.

Carl as the average movie goer made me laugh. I've been looking forward to seeing this film for a while now. You've gotten me more hyped now. It's another two weeks for it to be released in Ireland.

Wow. I was gonna see it just because I consider Memento to be one of the best movies ever made... Not that Christopher Nolan can do no wrong or anything-- I didn't care for Insomnia.

But now? I didn't realize that it was an action flick at all: the way everybody was talking, I thought it was going to be more Momento than Dark Knight.

I may have to see it this afternoon.

Yeah. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HARD THAT WAS

It's not really spoilers. He just explains who DeCaprio's character is. Trust me, it won't ruin the movie for you.

Saw at midnight. Seriously listen to him GO SEE IT NOW!!!!111!!2!!one

I have to admit you got me there, Bob.

have you seen papurika? similar genre but still bad ass. 1 more week till it comes out in japan, i cant wait

Nice first 2:20 on the video bob, thanks for the spoiler warning. Will have to drag some mates to see this one

I watched past the spoiler, and though I appreciated it, you're right in that there's no real plot spoilers after it, just the usual amount of plot people dump in reviews. Glad you liked it. I'll be going to see that tonight I think.

P.S. Cheers for posting on the day of UK release, too. :D I was hoping you might get around to it sooner than later. :)

I love these kinda films can't wait to see might have to wait a few weeks. Have to wait till after SDCC. Prepare for a trip this weekend then go next weekend so no time for movies. But Love the review.

Thank you so much for the spoiler alert!!!
I actually stopped it there until I see the movie.
Ill be back movieBob, dont worry, just lemme see it.
Again, thanks for the warning.

Had to stop it at 2:20 =(. Doesn't come out till 22nd here. Guess I'll watch the rest later. But glad to hear it's fucking awesome, although I already knew it would be. Insanely awesome sounding plot, Nolan, DiCaprio, wicked effects.

The was is fantastic! Thank you job at theater.

Again, I agree with you, Bob. You are the only critic I agree with most of the time.

Side note: Gimbles are awesome and those sequences are amazing.

I did guess the ending... when I first saw the commercial. It's hard when you're in the same movie twice in one year. That's all I'm gonna say.

Trying to be as vague as possible. Is it working?

I stopped at the spoiler warning as well. I definitely want to go see it now!

Damn... considering how much I dislike Leonardo Decapitator, I was hoping for a bad review. Now I may have to go see it anyways.

Inception is the movie of 2010. I'm calling it now.

Walking out of that theater last night, all I could think about was how astronomical the odds of Inception working that well actually were.

I mean just the odds of each element working well are unlikely; first of all, to somehow achieve that screenplay, and pitch it well enough to get that budget, and then get that cast to work that well together... I'm legitimately blown away.

Brief side note: If you weren't a Joseph Gordon-Levitt fan, you sure as shit are one now.

Has anyone who hasn't seen this watched past the spoiler warning? Your video will remain totally unwatched! You fool! You've ruined your own career!

Nah, I'm kidding. Still, I stopped as well.

In other news, is anyone else tired of the "Difficult Discussion" screen? I mean, I know it kind of goes along with the topic, but when it's been in a vast majority of the videos lately, I think it's time to maybe add a new screen? Just a suggestion to keep it fresh.

Why the DiCaprio hate? The guy's been in nearly nothing but gold since Catch Me If You Can.

Wow. Bob likes/pretends to like a pretentious combination of scifi and arthouse philosophy?? Nooooooooo
