The Escapist Radio Theater #7

Perhaps more politicians need to play Mass Effect.

At first I thought there would be some clever pun. But oh God, this was so much better.

You can't see the eye but it feels like you can still see the rage in them.

Oh, those final two panels! Massive grin just appeared on my face!

Remy, it's things like that that remind me why your comic is the best of the Sunday Funnies. Keep it up!

The last two panels made me smiles so much...heh, I can only imagine the look, the evil glare!

LOL at the last 2 panels

Looking back though, it seems obvious that she was a woman... or maybe I'm just confused.

This was the first one I read, so that might be why I'm thinking this, but perhaps he/she was referring to Female Shepard when they said "a girl can dream?"

But, looking through a few comics, I swear I'm seeing a hint-o-breasts on her...

To be honest, I didn't know either.
This is why this is my favorite Sunday comic.
Just brilliant.

The last three panels were solid gold! Keep up the good work guys!

Wow. Probably the most reasonable, mature and funny debate I've ever seen/read. And even the punchline was gold.

I love this comic.

wow seven issues in and already you are about to kill off a character, after all that guy is defiantly dead.

Im going to learn to glare like the last panel.

Glaring at someone like that will drive them to suicide.

Beautiful work. New regular reader, right here.

You know, the exact nature of that particular character has been puzzling me too for some time. Now that I have a confirmation (I guess), I can sleep again.

Thanks, and keep up the good work.

GIRL: A girl can dream, can't she?
ME: Wait, that's a girl?
DUDE: Wait, you're a girl?
ME:.....*mind blown*

This is what I was referring to as well.

Best comic ever. The last two panels floored me.

that was GREAT!

Hahhaha!

I already Knew she was a Girl but, that was funny.
I can see how people might be mistaken though.

Actually..to me she looks a lot like a Female Chad(Bleach)
*Shrugs*

Anyway, nice comic.
One thing that's given me a hard time whenever i think about doing a comic is how to inject current events into it without loosing the Humor and staying Tasteful.

Though i guess its something you gotta Practice at, and your bound to piss someone off no matter what you do.
Im just one of those people who would rather get No mail than Hate mail.
I don't like it when people don't like me.
:P

Anyway yet another good Comic.
I really liked the colors you chose for this one as well, it fit with the mood of the comic.
Im looking foreword to next week.

This would make a good webseries.

After I read this I went to look at the older ones...

I can't fucking believe I missed that.

Best comic this week, and cementing its place as my constant favorite. I was pretty sure she was a girl, but I wasn't 100% sure.

It is hard to tell what you are with hair covering face and too much clothes.

Hell, she could be an undercover zerg.

Wonderful comic. Definately going to be a regular reader now. Going to go read older ones now.

The overturning of proposition 8 was a great step in the fight for equality guys, I'm really proud of all my american cousins for fighting for what your country really stands for :)

Um.

But my female Shepherd was gay. Oo

I feel I'm missing something here. ^^

Edit:
Yes I do - that Tali isn't gay. Ouch.

Good punchline.

Go back to the first issue and read it carefully, they refer to her as a SHE, and also, she does the exact same face to that guy :D

I swear I have no idea what you could possibly be referring to...

Practice, without doubt, goes a long way to knowing how far you can push things. But remaining true to yourself is the best way to remain interesting. There are a few things you need to know when you start writing, and that's to know yourself and to know your audience and to know your editor. Sometimes these things are all one in the same, but what matters is that you know who you're writing for and who you're working for. (I've made, and still make, many mistakes in this regard.)

Let me direct you to the writing of a man who's written far more comics than I, discussing a subject very much related to this current matter.

Taste is entirely a subjective matter has never been in any doubt, but if you do it right stepping on a few toes can be good for everyone involved.

Thanks for the tips and link.
Man, iv still got a lot to learn before i try to put something out online.
But half the fun is getting to the point where you feel your ready.

I really appreciate your advice.

I think this guy said it best...

I gotta say, I agree with her. Tali and femshep should totally hook up. Hell, I was honestly disappointed when I found out that I couldn't seduce Tali...

i like these comics ^_^ these and "extra credits" are making me more inteligent day by day....or week by week. ah well ^^ ty for making this comic
