Doctor Who, Obi Wan Kenobi....So many good costumes!

The only thing is though the picture of the TARDIS made me miss David Tennant's Doctor. It just won't be the same without him.

Plus, I'm reasonably sure only three of those guys were actually dressed as Naruto characters, unless I'm mistaken, that's Mr.Popo and Vash the Stampede on either side. Neither of whom are from Naruto.

Itachi, Kisame, and Naruto. And I was Vash and you're dead on about Mr Popo

The Obi-Wan costume was perfect

"There are some who call me...Tim."
I wonder if that's what the sorcerer guy was going for?

It's a badger! Badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger mushroom mushroom!

The last picture... shocked me for life.

But the steampunk angel was cute.

I just have to say, Your avatar is great.

Thank you very much, I too love it. Always makes me smile.

There's no way that was a Drow, he wasn't savagely beating his elf slave for breathing his air.

Greg you should've posed with mister bubbles.

The girl that was dressed as Black Canary could really use some caffeine.

I was the girl dressed as Black Canary, and FYI I wasn't falling asleep, I was midway through blinking. I actually said to the photographer "Wait, I think I blinked!" after this photo was taken.

Did you try and ask if you could send them a picture with less blinking.

Haha for real? I'm sorry. If you have a better photo, please go ahead and send it in!

Sad face

No where in here is a picture of my friend dressed up as Dante, nor my other friend dressed as nero.

here is a nice picture of Dante, naked snake, and psycho mantis and another of Dante and random jedi.

That wasn't a skunk waiting to be skinned, that was medieval Bodger and Badger! I wonder what their mash potato was like in medieval times...

*EDIT* Also, I'm dissapointed by the severe lack of Necrons and SPESS MEHRENS!

wow, these are look really good... the costumes at least. can't say the same about the people.

don't troll... there are no badgers here...

[quote="PedroSteckecilo" post="6.224629.7609832"]That last dude ain't no crazy warrior, well... he is, but he's a specific one, he's a Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf.

He's the famous Trollslayer Gotrek Gurnisson.

Well, it's a slayer. Not necessarily Gotrek.

Taking into account the shape of the axe and the fact that it's chained to his wrist as well as the placement and shape of the tattoos, I'd say the person was indeed attempting to be Gotrek. The only flaw I can see is that Gotrek only has one eye.

We really need these sort of conventions down in Australia, we lack creativity and I've been dieing to do a cosplay of Van of the Dawn, Vash or Cross Marian. ;____;

TIM
FUCK YES

In other news, the Dwarf Slayer and the gun-and-sword guy were excellent. Likewise, I have a certain amount of respect for a guy who carries around a duct tape hammer the size of a signpost.

...Dude, that one hunter? That's a badger, not a skunk. Just pointing it out. And I got carried away. Sorry.

The one year I don't go is finally the one year I would want to go! Curse my luck!

OT: pretty cool, especially the Little Sister costume. Wish I could have gone this year, but I didn't have enough money.

......that was Jun, NOT Master Chief. >.>;

All of these are great though.

Catalyst6:
I loved the Dr. Steel soldiers, very nice indeed.

We decide it! We decide it! We decide it and so, we reap what we sow!

Hehe... Love that song.

OT: Really cool costumes. My favorite was the Babarian.

I loved Tim and Chef especially.

Damn. These are awesome. It makes my Halloween costume look woefully inferior. This year it will be better.

I really want to go to one of these conventions. Are there any cool ones in the UK?

EDIT: Actually that Obi-Wan picture is really useful. I've been looking to buy that belt for my costume and that picture gives a great indication of its size and how it looks outside controlled studio lighting. Cool picture too.

Here's a link to a good photo of all 3 of us :-] (Ivy, Harley and myself)

If you can't see it I can upload it elsewhere

Cobra commander was great. Also wonder if that Big Daddy was all homemade...

So what's the deal with all the people dressing as steampunk in the cosplay scene these days? Is it some new fad going around? I see that everywhere all of a sudden.

Chef was funny, never seen that before.

oh, here's a picture of me as Naked Snake/Big Boss to prove my nerdiness: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=36157302&l=7294431c68&id=60703002

I really like the costumes. Most of the ones you see are cheaply done, but there are nice

Gurnisson for the win

Picture twelve has Sora in the background.

Hulyen:
Fwee, Tim the Enchanter! Gotta love it.

the guy from monty python's holy grail? i love that guy.

Is 12 from Torchlight or am I imagining things? 0.o

ShadowKatt:
I'm impressed. I've seen a lot of cosplayers, but even the (reletively) poorly done Master Chief was pretty good.

I am thinking the helmet let him down, but i'm good with it, because I know i would have done ALOT worse as the chief.

I love the tetris girls. Crazily cute.

I wonder how many of them are trying to see these pics now?

i think that this
http://volpinprops.blogspot.com/2009/09/big-daddy-bioshock.html
is a better big daddy, just saying

Vortigar:
Warhammer and Magic the Gathering cosplay caught me by surprise.

Very cool Dwarf Slayer, can't imagine a lot of people being able to pull that one off.

The Serra Angels made me wonder why you don't see more costumes like that around. Especially these days now that they've given Magic a face through the Planeswalkers you'd think more Magic cosplayers would show up. Chandra is bound to show up somewhere I'd wager. Gideon Jura shouldn't be too far off as well.

The Cobra Commander is my personal fave of this lineup though, exquisite work.

I know for a fact there was a Jace who hung around the TCG hall.

And I especially like the Big Daddy/Little Sister combo and Harley Quinn.

Hybridwolf:
Impressive stuff. Liked the Halo outfit, but it looked more ODST then anything and the Jack Sparrow one made me double take. Amazing looklike, right down to the compass.

I thought the opposite. The costume was spot on but the guys face was far too different.

A mate of mine had a fancy dress for his 21st and went as Cpt. Jack, had a great costume (one from Disney Land) and he actually resembles Johnny Depp
