Keep in mind that's "Never" in Valve time. That means it will be so late it will come out sometime because it was too late to be never, but since time is a bit weird like that we wont see this, we will simply see the game as coming out far too late.

But that's "far too late" in Valve time as well, so perhaps never is more precise.
