I Hit It With My Axe: Episode 25: What's THIS do...?

Episode 25: What's THIS do...?

The party discuss and make a plan to attack the Medusa.

Yay for the party being back together again!

I love the speeding up of time, Zak. Especially since you can still here most of what the girls are still saying.

And poor KK, showing up late. "Oh god. Did I die?" "No, but you were kidnapped, and now we don't know where you are."

Looking forward to next week!

A bit disjointed this time around, but guess you can't avoid sessions like that once in a while.

Love the accents and voices, though. My accents always come off as some sort of parody of what people living in rural Finland (eastern, western, central, northern, take your pick) are supposed to sound like. Then again, I suppose English speakers have it easier in that department, since your language is spoken on three continents.

Love the high-speed Mandy. That "No ... no ... no ... no" sounded almost like "Mao ... meow .... mow ... mao ... meow."

That one was probably one of the better episodes. Now I wish some of my games came with a fast forward button.

"My accent migrates all over the British isles" Lol classic. So does mine and I live there.:) Also welcome back to The Sword. Looking forward to some Medusa ass kicking.....snake tail kicking.....ummmm.....whatever it is she's packing down there. I never liked her anyway!:)

Zak's accent migrates all over the British Isles, not because he has any trouble with accents, but because he's so metal that he's everywhere at once.

Good to see the band back together and planning their mission from the Underdark gods. Now to sit back and wait on Mandy's excitement when she takes the snakes from the medusa queen's head to find that there's a dragon out there whose scales can teach her to blow up the moon.

So much awesomeness fit in to one episode I'm surprised my laptop didn't melt! The music made a welcome return, the third panel of text at the start made me laugh (especially as several episodes ago I was one of the guilty parties).

Frankie playing with the Mannequin hand was hilarious. The fast forward sections where it sounded like Chip and Dale were playing was great, not only was it comedy genius but you could still understand what was being said.

Zak's multi-regional accent was great, to me it went from Scotland to Ireland via India. I always used to try and put an accent on for different characters too, it really helps sell it to the players I think. Not a huge amount of plot development this week, but the parties back together now and moving forward which is a good thing. The teaser for next week is a great idea, looking forward to the house of the Medusa now. Oh and a cookbook snake, most excellent.

Quick question though, with these episodes being recorded previously, have the players watched these back and spotted a clue or portent that may have seemed insignificant at the time but now has an impact on the current sessions?

Phew, I'm never going to be accused of writing small posts am I? :P

What Frankie is doing at 6:45 is an example of why I think she's freaking awesome, in case anyone was wondering.

Also, I always found it funny that no matter what fantasy movie, show, tabletop, or video game one may be playing, at least half of the main cast will inevitably have a British or Irish accent.

Primer for the craziness that I'm sure is about to ensue :) Great stuff as per usual!

"My accent migrates all over the British isles."

hehe that line was great.

Cook book snake :) also I am loving the high speed voices!

Did anyone notice that Frankie had the mannequin hand in the "shocker" formation?

Frankie is so adorable!
Great episode!

I officially declare myself president of the Frankie Fan Club.

Okay, I'm done being creepy now.

I thought it was throwing the horns, I'll have to watch it again. :)

EDIT: Aha, saw the horns, missed the shocker.

I also forgot to say earlier that the cork drinks coasters to prevent scratching seems very prudent, does give the impression the minis are sat on small islands in a sea of glass.

Sweet, the music is back. Also, if Frankie ever has a roll where she doesn't immediately swear after looking at it, document that shit, yo. Poor girl.

Frankie seemed to be obsessed with the mannequin hand lol.

Awesome episode again this week. Snake sandwich cookbook, awesome, totally didn't expect that. I personally expected all the snakes to have spells and other magical information type stuff on them, not recipes for sandwiches.

Anyone else suspect that the rest of the party is going to find Kimberly's character when the raid the medusa bitch's house?

So in every episode there is some player who I think is just awesome. My MVP, as it were. Last episode was Mandy. This episode? Satine. I love her awesome halfling!

Two in the pink and one in the stink! It's called the shocker!

I'm suprised no-one picked up on this.

Dunno why but I've had a hard time getting around to these last two episodes, and I keep tabbing away from them... I like the cliffhanger this one ends with, though.

DUHN DUHN DUUUUUUNNN!!!

Okay, I'm done being creepy now.

It was fine when it all began. I was a regular Frankie fan.

*ahem* Okay, now that was creepy.

Yes, she is adorable.

Great Episode! Keep up the excellent fantasy story. You should place this campaign in published format when you're finished. I wouldn't mind running my players through it. Course for my circle the characters would likely be majority male . . .

I wonder if the cast ever reads comments like ours and think "Man, these people are creepers."

I always pause when Zak says something "seems" to be.

A snake that "seems to be" a cook book.

Great episode, VERY funny on several levels.

My favorite thing about the group: they all have a good time together and really meld well.

The chipmunk speak in this episode is EPIC lol

Sweet!

If you need any illustration work done let me know. I'm pretty good at drawing women.
