Hurrah, finally it's Wednesday again. :)

That's one hell of a spell, turning the entire 3rd floor of a building to jelly, very cool, I was kind of expecting the roof to come down due to the lack of support, any chance the building is now a foot or so shorter than it used to be?

It was rather unfortunate that Frankie wasn't in to the attacking her friends thing, normally that's fairly entertaining. Don't think I've ever heard of a blob being called cute before, now KK's dog is cute, adorable even, if a little nervous by the looks of it.

Where did the gnoll come from by the way? Am I being my usual useless self or did that bit get left on the cutting room floor?

Ever since KK's abduction I've had this nagging feeling that she would be the perfect host for a homonculus, especially with her having been taken by the medusa, but that would be really harsh and I'm pretty sure I/you wouldn't do it to a player, especially a new one.

Anyway, as usual greatness has been served. Only 7 more days until the next episode.

Yes, we can tell it is a wig. You had a type of hawk going and then significantly longer purple hair.

And I think anyone that was logical would be freaking out if they ended up in that toy room and now hate kids.

I (a) am now hungry, and (b) want to watch Akira again.

Man, I'll admit that I came to this series way back at the beginning for the porn stars, but I've stayed for the D&D.

Seriously, I think I need to find a local game and gatecrash it. It seems so much more fun than the (video)games I've been playing recently. How does one find D&D players? Anyone know?

Mandy summoned it.

Thanks, very helpful indeed. Though it still seems as though my first move should be 'Move to the U.S.'

Which is the answer to so many things on my List that I may indeed do that soon.

Aha, so it was me being useless, thanks. :)

I've been thinking, with this being a Medusa's home, there's probably not going to be much combat/dungeon crawling as such, however I'm betting some imaginative traps are lying in wait. Just thought I'd add that while I'm back here.

For those of us here in good old blighty, if you don't personally know anybody running a game a good place to start tends to be the specialist shops that sell the rule books. In most large cities round the UK you'll find a Forbidden Planet or a Travelling Man shop hidden somewhere, as well as having the books you'll need/want to check out they normally have knowledge of local games being run in your area.

Also it's not uncommon for roleplayers to not talk about their hobby too much unless they're with people they know are also interested as being ridiculed is sadly all too common. Some people you know may play and just haven't mentioned it. My wife was talking to a guy at work years ago, the day Sir Alec Guinness died (he was saying he should be wearing a black armband for the death of obi wan) and apparently he sounded so much like me and liked the same kind of things that she asked him if he played D&D, I'm told he recoiled and ran half way across the room before coming back and admitting he did.

Feystar:

I'm not sure if that's more a symptom of being a D&D geek or more simply a symptom of being English when asked a personal question.

But thank you. That's very helpful. Unfortunately I'm not near a Forbidden Planet, and... what's a Travelling Man? Sounds very much like a pub. Where D&D players would hang out.

Still I might venture out to the nearest city and seek out such places.

Travelling Man is another shop, but it's mostly up here in the North. (Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, York)

I was happy to see dungeon crawls and halls again. When they were walking down that first corridor the music was just so cool and I was like "aw yeah, what I like about this show is back."

Satine went with "My character doesn't know what to do when these people I met start attacking each other." I would have gone with "What did you see in that book about her that made you so mad? Is she evil?" [my character would then read the dictionary too]

There are sites you can go to to play via computer. Playbyweb.com and rpol.net being just two.

I want a relaxer.....

Skullkid4187:
I want a relaxer.....

Heh. After hearing them talk about about that relaxer, I can imagine Medusa getting one herself.

Frankie did not look happy after reading that book. I was wondering if we were on the verge of a full blown hairdresser tantrum? ;) Nice 2 see KK back also. Keep up the good work everybody and things!

Haha, I was joking when I said that.

Fun stuff, can't wait to see what lurks in the deep recesses of the Medusa's house!

Well, I hope so, it was kinda obvious. Wait, Mandi Morbid is on here?

Even though I love the girls and the plot as been freaking awesome... I have to say something: Rejoice for KK is back. Time to bash some heads in!

I'm really enjoying Satine's new character.

OK I think it's decided for me. D&D isn't really fun to watch at least this session of it isn't. None of them really try to get in character, not in an entertaining way at any rate. Also having semi-attractive goth pornstar (or whatever they are) women playing doesn't help. In a way it hurts because They don't seem in to it and it makes me feel as an actual D&D player feel even more like an outcast in that (I'm assuming) They have to pay these women to play. I'd rather watch the Penny-arcade type people play D&D. At least I'd feel like I'm watching someone I connect with play.

I guess this has an audience and goodluck with that. I'm not going to attempt to watch anymore of these sorry.

Doesn't matter who they are as a profession.

They are good people. Thank you Guys, you've sparked an interest in me to actually PLAY D&D.
And to me, thats a good thing.

Your good people. *Thumbs up*

You're assuming wrong.

Three things:

1) New music FTW.

2) I still have a rather large crush on Frankie.

3) I always dread the end of these episodes... it's like reading a book, and finding out you won't get the last three pages until next week. Zak should do some short story writing, if he hasn't already.

"we've found her bathroom, quick loot the cosmetics!"
that was rather defining.. most guys its "..whats valuable.. quick steal it" you guys it seems to be whats valuable AND pretty,

Poor Frankie. If it makes you feel any better, last week I fumbled on a flurry of blows and punched our ranger so hard she forgot how to fire a bow. Watching her attempt to stab goblins with arrows was totally worth it though.

Dude, how did you make that blob mini? Or was it bought? I may need something like that for my upcoming game, reason I asked.

Is there anywhere we can see pictures of the character miniatures that the girls are using?

@vcdaniels: hot glue and a beheaded miniature

@Mr Smith: on the "axe" facebook page. there's a link next to the video.

I wonder, if the average D&D group were filmed, how much time would actually be spent gaming, and how much eating, chatting, BSing, etc.
Just a thought that struck me.

Yah. This series makes me feel *less* like an outcast to know that people from all walks of life enjoy the game. D&D shouldn't be exclusive to "Penny-arcade types." Cliques are bad, and you shouldn't exclude someone or accuse them of being poseurs just because their profession, sex, or way they dress differs from yours.

But it is fascinating how someone coming in with assumption that these girls are being payed will view them as not being "into it," even though they clearly are. Makes you wonder about how your prejudices affect your perception of others in real life.

For my groups it tended to be all over the place, sometimes in a four hour session it would be almost all business and we'd get loads done, then other weeks I'd be lucky to keep them all at the table and roleplaying for half the time.
Those nights I just had to run with the fact that my friends were all gathered together in the same place and having fun, even if it wasn't through doing the campaign I'd worked on.

Most of ours were cream crackers and beer... We were very lazy.
