kinda bugs me that the escapist has the whole thing recorded but are introducing artificial scarcity to try to sell their club thingy. there's nothing stopping them from just releasing the whole thing, i wonder if LRR is allowed to release the whole thing on their site? remember this escapist; artifical scarcity does NOT ensure higher sales, it often just sours your customers against you and drives them to seek similar products elswhere.
seriously escapist, don't pull this shit on us, we've read too much about DRM and about the recent generation of consoles deliberately underproducing their hardware at the start, and all the other tricks game companies get away with because too many game consumers don't pay attention nowadays. it will not cost you ANYTHING to release it all now.
please join me in my boycott of the escapist's club thing, prove to them that this method of release doesn't increase membership.
and also visit "home of the underdogs"(the site is having some problems so google the phrase) for a huge list of free games from before HD turned our favorite products into whores of babylon

I don't understand why some people get so upset about things like this. Escapist needs to have money to produce these videos, so we're lucky that they're showing them for free at all. It's only fair that they get to sell what they produce. It's not like everything on the internet should be free, even though some people seem to think so.

But I digress, I can't wait for the rest to be released to the public. Though they should have it so the link on the front page goes to the public version and not the club member version of the video.

I feel the same way. It's fair for their profit I suppose, but I'm not gonna pay, can't really afford to anyways.

I enjoyed Legend of Legaia far more than Duel Saga. I remember being pleasantly surprised by the first game.

There are some good points in Duel Saga but even I'll admit that escorting Maya around was tedious at first (that is until she became one of the most useful characters in the game). Good news is, the Legaia series was never really intended to be a Triple A title. I doubt it ever had the budget of an FF or DQ game...

OP: Maybe try your hand at one of the only JRPGs that even I cannot find any way to defend - Thousand Arms. Okay, it did have an interesting premise (relationship system used to forge weapons and abilities) that fell flat as soon as I realized that only the front character (in the party) can actually act in battle. Ugh.

Woooo! this is brilliant guys, "my name is a tool this is going to be cool" ha ha to bad i missed it live though which sucks.

This is really bugging me out.

At first, the escapist introduced this series as a 2 hour long clip divided into smaller sections released every Monday..unless you pay. So here I was, its now tuesday, and when I click on the "legaia" icon on the front page, it tells me to pay. I had to actually use the search function to find this second episode..almost seems like they're hiding it.

Now this may or may not be true, but the fact that I missed this live, and I now have to pay to watch it again kinda bugs me.

Good show tho. I really cracked up at the end. "You can call me a tool" xD
