Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

This week, Zero Punctuation reviews Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.

Watch Video

Deadpool is in this game?!

Sold!

Poor Spidey. He's really getting abused by game makers nowadays.

funny stuff, the reason i came here in the first place.

spiderman, the new mario?

CpnChaos:
First!

Yeaahhh enjoy your suspention.

OT: I found the end to be funny as hell, keep up the good work Yahtzee.

wow, SOMEONE is a batman fan.

Wait, wasn't Spider-Man 2 on the PC absolute crap? I remember it being a different version from the one on console...

Buggy, unfocused, smells like old pants. Not things you want to have your game labeled with.

I too am a fan of Spiderman 2. It breaks my heart that they can't manage to replicate it's awesomeness even in the slightest in this day and age.

King Rocky IV:

well, maybe you should play it on PS2 then. Swinging around certainly has it's charm.

too bad most of the games after that are bogus.

Ah, a religion bash early in... way to stay on-topic, Yahtzee.

lol @ the web jizz during the credits

Newton's pendulum, is the name of the clacky balls thing.

Actually watched one on time this week. Funny review, but these wrap around ads have to go.

And not things you want your girlfriend to be labeled with either

Well, I can't say I'm all that surprise about how it turned out.

even when I first heard about it sounded spread very thin.

CpnChaos:
First!

No one cares, did you even watch the video?

First of all, Stan Lee doesn't need to try to be liked, isn't he already more popular than a certain son of God that the christian church keeps going on about?

Second, Nolan North as Deadpool? I don't know how I feel about that.

for fuck sake yahtzee did you like it or not? is it worth any of my money?

I wanted this to be good because I really would love a 2099 game.

I knew it wouldn't because ZOMG gimmick for each Spidey! We don't need to do anything else!

Yahtzee Croshaw:
Shatty Dims

Heh, I saw what you did there.

darrinwright:

I don't know, he seems to have a high opinion of Jesus' sense of humor.

Spider-man 2 not only had good web-swinging, it had Bruce Campbell calling you a moron the whole time. I don't think it would have been nearly as good without him.

One of the few times I've ever commented on a ZP video, just to say that

Is one of the best lines from him in a while.
I heard it, paused for a second, and then burst into laughter. I'm not even sure why it's so funny to me, but still. :D

HotFezz8:

Did you actually watch the video? I don't think he had one good thing to say about the game other than "the Deadpool part was alright."

Just hurry up and review New Vegas already...

Spiders are slow? Probably you are thinking about those big New Worl tarantulas, or orb-weawers in which case, true.

But most spiders, especially the smaller ones and/or those that don't use webs to catch their prey are very agile.

So, in other words, I have lost all my respect for you for this mistake, Mr. Yahtzee.

As for Spider-man, I do recall playing some game way back that was good.

The less big the game, the funnier the review. Mostly.

Oh god Yathzee just described me perfectly D:

HotFezz8:
for fuck sake yahtzee did you like it or not? is it worth any of my money?

He didn't give a single positive remark so I'd say no...

Seeing as you are apparently the kind of person who buys things based upon others opinions other than your own you can give all your money to me if you like.

Duffeknol:

Mostly, although I find them a lot less funny if I have played the game as I know what points he is making and usually disagree with them. It's easier to laugh when you don't know whether it's bullshit said for laughs or is a genuine criticism that is exaggerated.
