Who knew Layton was such a dick?
Wow...that's a little bit on the creepy side. But, I would play it.
I would play that in an instant. Even if it was in Japanese. Calumon: You'll make me translate won't you?
certainly would be better than the actual saw game. (Assuming the saw game wasnt any good XD)
"You have exactly one minute to start a fire, Or your family dies."
That's just a puppet. It's obvious the real villain IS...
"Light the matches, with your brain!" OT: Never played a Layton game, would definitly play if it was like that xD
And then of course the second task will be putting Layton's sandwich in order, a cleverly disguised ruse just to get Phoenix to "make him a sammich".
omg, great comic. :D love this series. :)
Wow. It's a shame the word 'epic' is so devalued. Because it totally applies here.
That would be an awesome game.
I would play this in a heartbeat.
That was brilliant, no wonder you guys won the comic competition
Capcom vs. Level 5. Phoenix Wright vs. Professor Layton in a battle royal. Capcom... DO IT!
I don't get the comic... will someone explain it for my befuzzled little bwain :3
That was brilliant. | |
HA! This... made my morning.
They actually went through with that? Layton looks so out of place...
LOL great Job on the Comic XD Had me in stitches, but who knows? You may be right about Capcom....-_- I'm slowly losing all interest I had in them myself.
So Layton was the real Jiggsaw... Keep up the good work.
Oh my god that would be the best game ever if not for the awesomeness that would ensue while playing it.
Class, although Layton doesnt look like he should be there, the rest of the word is all anime, wheras Layton still looks like he's made of lego :P
| |
I dont even play either games but the trailer was just epic.
I'll be quiet. *soils self*
LOL. And just as I get to finishing watching the entire Saw franchise, this comic comes around. Fun times, fun times.
"There's something I don't like about that silk hat"? Was that a jab at Apollo Justice I picked up there?
Is it me or does that burrito have a :c on it?
oh wow it's Friday again. already?
A Witch Hunt ? Count me in.
Easy. This is a reference to the Phoenix Wright/Professor Layton Crossover where the two seem to be at odds regarding the case of this girl being a witch. Wright is a defense attorney, one of the best in the Wright series, and Professor Layton is a master at puzzles and solving mysteries. This comic puts a spin on the crossover by changing the way you'd imagine the game to play out, turning Professor Layton into Jigsaw from the Saw horror films with Wright as his latest victim. It's played out so well that any fan of either series can't help but find it hilarious.
Wow, imagine if there really was a game full of creepy ideas like this and KanyeCraft
I love both series, I love Saw, and I love this strip too. I really hope that the game turns out like this, even if it's just in a little part of it, because I would love the hilariosity of seeing the 'good' Professor going all batshit insane and torturing our favourite defence attorney :P.
Matchstick puzzles are common tricks. Where they must rearrange them to form a shape. The man in the screen is a guy from a game with these sorts of tricky mechanical puzzles. The man in the chair is a lawyer from another game. The two men are set to have a collaboration. HAR HAR OT: I liked it. Funny.
