There is really an angry kitties deck. It's not totally type 2 legal, but it's fun. Basically, it's structured around having lots of cats, really fast - a standard hit 'em quick and hit 'em hard type deck. Lots of flying cats too, and a hearty dose of red instants to keep things moving quickly. It's not the greatest, but I don't intend to play it competitively. I have a green black infect deck I'm honing to a fine, infectious point for that.

HAHAHAHA! That was absolutely brilliant! As someone who's not into Magic but surrounded by people in college who are, the plot was hysterical. Throw in the kitty deck and the veiled ICP reference, and that was one awesome LRR.

If someone has built a sneak attack deck properly and gets to go first, the opposing player is taking at least 7 damage on turn one, and losing their hand. It's very very tough to come back when you're top decking the whole game.

Oh, and Kathleen, if you want to make an infect deck to take on the masses (extended deck), look into the three cards: Snake Cult Initiation, Virulent Sliver, and Hivestone. Add more poison to all your critters and make them suffer. (These all will work in your deck as long as it's Green/Black.)

This one really made me laugh out loud. not just saying that.

The magnets joke, I'm sure that should be over played by now, but it was awesome!

Great episode, takes me back to the time when I was playing magic. Moved on to much nerdier, far more expensive hobbies - like LARP. European LARP, not the cheap US-variant...

Unless its vintage vintage, I believe I know the notes I need to know. I have a R/G/W/U sliver deck that works just fine :)

Sounds like fun. I have a deck similar to that, but mono green. If you can get it, its an uncommon from worldwake so its still standard, Canopy Cover, I've found that any kind of evasion really help a deck like that work.

My infect deck is mostly green with a splash of black. It's really fast, and designed to be that way, so I've skipped proliferation in favour of green boosts. The idea I use Corpse Curs to bring back disposable infect creatures (and my putrefaxes!), then as soon as something gets through I throw 2 giant growths/groundswells/vines of vastwoods on them.

Opponent: I'll take the 1 point counter from the plague stinger, I guess.
Me: Actually, you'll take 8 poison counters from that plague stinger.

That sounds unbelievably cheap/awesome/fun to annoy people, like a blue deck :p

player 1: Ha!, now you'll take 11 dmg from my blaz-
player 2: *yawn* Cancel.
player 1: FUUUUUUUUUUUUU-wait.AH! so I'll jsut attack with my army of gob-
player2: Time Stop.
player 1:*eats up deck*

I can think of a couple of ways to make this deck a lot better now that I look at it. Also, don't freak out about the mana amount. I've won plenty of games with 4 or 5 land out. The deck actually runs surprisingly well on three mana, as long as two of those are plains. That said, now I want to tinker with it.

Why do you run both versions of Ajani? Sure, your deck has a theme, but if you draw one when the other is already in play, you may as well have just drawn a card saying "As an extra cost to play this, shoot yourself in the foot."

I just noticed you could use some Ajani's Mantra too, you get 1 life on your upkeep and a +1/+1 to the Pridemate, though that's more suited for a slow deck like my soldier deck

I just never could get into Magic. Then again, I abhore most card games for some reason. I don't mind board games, but card games just aren't my thing.

This was a GREAT Hustle and definitely up to par and as enjoyable as any of the first season! I can't wait to see what ya'll come up with next. Nice to see Tim one last time to say goodbye, lets hope he forgot something else so he'll stop by once and a while :D.

Also, the switch of Tim and Alex was just great :D
