Episode 1.6: Friggin' Zombies

On this very special episode of Anthony Saves the World, everything Anthony and Mikey have fought to hold off, comes sauntering back because of a single mistake (of a couple cases of 18 mistakes, depending on your outlook.) Can they hold off the scourge? And how does an incantation really work? Why does Mikey only like bad movies? Find out all this, and more, in this episode!

Right! Incantation! Thank Cthulu I wired my garden with pressure sensitive C4.

Would you quit eating those KFC chickens! You're only making me hungry for them! OH I laugh at the end, that is so mean!!

That's just common sense

Having been warned last time for being too mean to this series, i will just simply say this week that the fight scenes in this still make me cringe, They are just SO fake, its almost like you guys are doing it on purpose to make some ironic joke, i will continue to watch for a few more weeks just incase this is all some ironic joke and you eventually stop and add some decent sound effects or try alittle more urgency in the combat bits but until then im still not impressed overall.

Someone should make research into that...if cloning yourself really does mean you inbreed with yourself :3

still moderate but your not getting any worse :D

Not bad, the soundtrack could use a little work, and mike could be a little more intense, but not bad.

This show needs subtitles.
When both of them are speaking, and when they are speaking fast, it gets very hard to understand what they said, so I missed a few jokes the first time and had to go back. Which is a shame, because the jokes are funny. The problem is the fast talking and simultaneous talking contributes to the mood, so rather than change how they speak, subtitles seems to be the best option.

Double post,my bad, move along please :)

So the demon ninja's that come back to life are now somehow zombies?

This plot is getting really hard to follow, and it hasn't even realyl gone anywhere yet.

Huh... I thought the guy with that mask was one of the first that they killed and one they did the incantation on properly...

Not to mention that the enemies have come back several times before as non-zombies, the mythology is starting to break down...

Only thing that was off with this video was watching the zombie wait at the window before attacking. Other than that, good job.

Also the ending with cloning and Tron references was fucking lulzy.

I don't think the "plot" is supposed to be much more than a reason to make jokes and play with some toys.

Doesn't mean I don't like it, though. It's still fun to watch, even if it is completely nonsensical. Oh, and is it wrong that I giggle more about the descriptions of these videos than I laugh at the thing itself?

This whole series is one giant mindf*ck.

Oh, dear God... Anthony's rant in the stinger had me in tears. Talk about insult comedy!

Get off my plane...of existence!

SuperMse:
Get off my plane...of existence!

Okay, that's funny. :D

I don't know I like the series, but the music and sound effects (to me) were a bit too quiet. I don't know maybe I am alone in this thought.

The idea, and I'm pretty sure we covered this in the second episode (as we knew we were doing zombies later, is that if you screw up even one incantation you run the risk of everyone coming back... we also talked about that in episode 5.

Episode 4 was a tent pole to get us some more zombies.

Well thanks for answering our question about that, was going to post something along those lines as well.

I have two questions for you:

1. Do you need to say a cheesy line at the end of the incantation or does any movie line work?

2. Is there any chance you might get subtitles for the earlier episodes?

They cut the power but in one location? 'you're ruining my zen thing, man'!

Very nice episode, you could actually hear what said this time! It's apparent that you're getting better. But at 2:01, that was just ugly.

I think this is one of the most overlooked and one of the best shows on the escapist.
Keep up the good work.
But I'm going to say the same thing I do every week, LONGER EPISODES please.

I actually really like the theme song.

But I could see how you wouldn't, it's rather unusual.

Good episode, though. The fight scenes aren't quite there, but they're getting much better.

I haven't seen Tron Legacy. 8(

Nice work guys. Fight scenes flowed a little better and it's definitely getting there. Can't wait for next week.

This seires is just getting worse. The first episode was good. But now all the fight scenes are pretty boring and fake looking, the effects are.... well to be nice done terribly, the plot has barely moved on from those guys are bad... we kill those guys and why are all the scenes still shot in that house!

I think next weeks episode will probably be my last just on the off-chance that somehow all this is going to be improved but I doubt it. It's a shame, I had high hopes for this.

This seemed like the weakest episode. There just didn't seem to be any real "reason" behind it.

Still good, but I sat back after watching and thought "Oh.". And not a good oh.

"How long do you think a guy who looks like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lasts in a zombie movie?".

Kudos to whoever came up with that line.

You know, every time I hear the intro to this series I can't help but think of Perfect Dark for the N64...

The music is just so... Familiar somehow.
Weird.

Someone's been reading tv tropes!

I like this episode, if only because of that one line.

The theme song is great. I mean the music played during the episode, it just didn't quite fit the action occurring at certian points.

i wish i quoted movies when i got nervouse

Awesome quotesploitation. The gag scene at the end is obviously brilliant because it made Mike laugh as well as the rest of us.

This is getting a little boring.

You realize, your story has to go somewhere in order to be interesting, right?
