i hope that my squad members get another loyalty mission and that your choices in the other games and the choices in the loyalty mission itself will decide what kind of badass garrus will be.
i wonder more about what kind of badass my shepherd will be. in the mass effect 1 he was a strong but nice soldier who needed his squad to survive in mass effect 2 he was still nice but he was overpowerd thanks to adrenaline rush.i think in mass effect 3 he powers his adrenaline rush up to a level where he moves as fast as the flash.i would pay for a flash costume in mass effect 3.

But seriously, I agree on Tali, Tali is a little girl and frankly I don't get why people want to get under her suit. I always preferred to go after the actual, full grown women (If Miranda's not back I'll be pretty disappointed) and treat Tali like a little sister. As for the people's love of Garrus? You can't not like Garrus. He's a bad-ass with a heart of gold.

If only he'd finish with those calibrations though. I want to see a bit in Mass effect 3 where he announces "The calibrations are finished!" and something annihilates the enemy. As it does it's bloody work, or after it has he turns to Shepard and says "I think I could improve it with a few more calibrations".

I have to agree on all points here xD Tali really was a little sister the Commander saved and took care of, and naturally she'd develop a crush on the dashing space hero, but not a romance option I'd consider fitting (a bit like relations between Kaylee and the Cap'n :p)

and Garrus...well I've got nothing to add except I really hope BioWare concludes this epic side sorry of calibrations in Mass Effect 3 (basically if it doesn't factor in some form of awesomeness in the final battle...I will be very very disappointed)

I could see it going that way, although it would make me sad to see Garrus become the bad guy.

I think this is what would make it a memorable twist; It makes sense within the arc (or could happen without a giant U-turn) and it would have a demonstrable emotional impact on the player. Most people like Garrus, I know I do (I nearly creamed when I first saw him in ME2), so fighting against him would be, genuinely, difficult.

That's how I felt when I was on Virmire and I almost had to kill Wrex. I was so relieved that I had put enough points into Charm and was able to talk him down. I don't think I could have been able to handle losing 2 crew members in 1 mission (although I didn't know it at the time).
