But seriously 'the sweet IT guy who is terrible with women' is such a tired stereotype; and one that isn't even that accurate once you get out of university anyways...

What, you can relate to IT and don't like it? :D

No; as an IT guy I find the stereo type reasonably insulting, and largely incorrect

When I noticed Perfect Dark, I thought Retro got it and the flowers.
Racing sure knows how to CRASH! Oh, burn! (And an explosion)
I have the feeling that there's 100 pieces of paperwork to deal with, or something worth 50 gamerpoints once achieved.

Paul Hearding:

Yankeedoodles:
Out of curiosity are you using some kind of filter on I.T. during his rage scenes or does the man just have color changing abilities?

Glademaster:
Em how did you get his face to go so red?

As the director of this series and a friend of I.T., I actually called "Cut!" on him a few times during his rage scenes. I've never in my life seen someone able to turn that red and I was generally concerned for his safety. It looked even redder in real-life, but the camera did capture quite a bit of color.

Well glad to hears he's alright. In fact it sounds like he's more than alright what with his skin changing superpower and all.

Son of a mother's lover! Hypercube FTW. I.T.'s nerd rage makes me laugh every time I see it.

It's a character, you shouldn't take it so personally! Besides... IT started as Indentured Tenant... but he's slowly moving towards Action Master!

Good episode

I like this series the way it is but if they had to add a genre master please go with a stealth master, I think they could do some funny stuff with that.

Epic episode PgG team! I am very impressed with the flawless nature of the shorts and the full episodes coexistence. The story is shaping up rather well, and this episode just has all sorts of awesome packed into it. From wine goblets meant for giants, to horror giving fairly sound advice, to a great RPG battle. I really enjoy this series and compliment the writing, directing, and acting of this series! Shout out to the SFX IT peeps behind the scenes that make every episode awesome!

Yankeedoodles:
Nice long episode guys! That must have been a pain to edit. Out of curiosity are you using some kind of filter on I.T. during his rage scenes or does the man just have color changing abilities?

I can do that, easy, just think about multiplay-*IT RAAAAAAAGE!!!!!*

Methinks solving Puzzle's cube would be worth the reward :P

Loving the show, although in my opinion it needs a touch more Horror added to it

Loving each episode more and more keep up the good work everyone!

Tycoon is a fucking BADASS! My god!

Cain_Zeros:

Avaholic03:

I have to say, figuring out Puzzle's heart is still easier that most women. But I certainly wouldn't want to mess with her tetris attack.

Also totally worth the effort to solve. Puzzle's adorable.

There is probably a trick to it like normal Rubix cubes.

Peel and switch all the stickers?

The only bits that are "Meh" are the ones with I.T. I know you meant him as a character for a viewer to project onto and to be the one that evolves and grows during the storyline... But he is just not a likable character.

Other than that, amazing episode. And i loved the horror's card.

I was thinking something along those line. Maybe it might be something like the Lego Table though.

Darn, IT raged like he was playing Big Rigs.

Poor IT... So sad.
Also, RPG has quite a lot of HP, but RTS seems like a weaker version of Puzzle ( a bit more hp, but wayy to little MP for my taste (in the fight, that is :D)). But the RPG-stype fight was really awesome, loved it.
Also, wow... racing... nice moves. And even running away.
The VS fight was also quite cool. And all that food made me hungry.

Jesus Christ, Tycoon's evil as hell.

In conclusion, awesome episode, loving it!

Great episode, that was a very fast 20min.
Keep up the good work, all cast members were great again.
'Sports' with all the energy bars spilling out his backpack was hilarious, then showering them for 100+HP was too good. Reminds me of running around RPGS, with like 70 heal potions.
Awesome fighting sequences both them.

So, this was episode 5 of Season 1. I didn't see an episode 6 on the menu. Does that make this the last episode of the season? When can we expect more? And will me get more mini-episodes in the meantime? Seriously, a mini-episode should explore at least a little bit of what happened between MMO and Tycoon.

This all makes me wonder what happened in the virtual world with the previous FPS master. It didn't seem so bad. I would love to do something like that. But were are the Digimon?

This is most definitely not the last episode of season 1. You can expect a full-length episode once a month with mini-eps filling in the other weeks. We still have a ton of story to tell in season 1.

Cool. Good to know there will be more. I'll look forward to it. And the mini-eps as well.

I just wanted to pop in and say that I really enjoy this whole series.

And keep releasing those bloopers too. The Episode 2 blooper reel with Retro and RPG was just priceless. Plus, it just feels great to know you guys are having so much fun making PGG.

Implying what happened to the last FPS master happened in the virtual world.... : waves fingers mysteriously : this may eventually be explained.

Also I agree... where are the digimon... MMO would love to have himself a Gomamon... :D

Poor MMO. I wonder how many times Tycoon killed him.

Well, this episode was clearly one of the better. Really enjoyable in fact. I was actually considering to stop following the series, but this episode chaged my mind. Keep making episodes this good and... Well... Umm... I'll watch them? Which is good, I guess. Anyway, great episode!

I really needed a pick-me-up today, and this episode was it. Best of the bunch, and promises of even better to come. PGG is my new favourite thing on the Escapist.

Awesome to have a full episode again. Please don't deviate from the schedule again, waiting another week for this sucked.

I guess my only question was why so many of them were in the virtual world to begin with. Was it supposed to be part of the tour?

Early on in the episode, Retro made a point to say that having ushered so many masters into the VW would cut down on Tycoon related casualties.

I love this show! you guys have a great idea going with this.
btw, which master would be the master of minecraft?

It may seem difficult to believe at first.. but we gave it to Retro. The poor man is quite the fan and was most perplexed why he had never heard of this obviously graphically old game until recently and is an avid player. Retro even sports a shirt with 'explore & punch & mine & create' with pride on several occasions around the office. Most of us realize it is a new game and could be considered a puzzle game for the building or an MMO for the group play.. yet we have not the heart to tell him. The way Retro's eyes light up and his grin grows broad at the mere mention of it is a sight to behold! I can always tell by the twinkle in his eye that he has thought of a new plan to enact on the minecraft server he frequents. Quite an uplifting feeling I assure you.

that was freakin hilarious! I especially loved their battle stance dances and the power bar aoe heal! XD

great work gang!

Does anyone besides me notice that Fighting's Hadouken sounds like the intro soundbyte to Audiosurf? I swear it does.

Everyone really loves Horror and Retro and stuff but like...

Sports is the most hilarious shit ever. Didn't anyone else laugh hysterically when he just dived in that RPG scene and barrel rolled out of the screen?

I fucking love Sports, he's the best one lol.

What does I.T. stand for?

Professor James:
What does I.T. stand for?

It depends on who you ask. Ask most people it stands for Information Technology. Ask RTS and apparently it stands for Indentured Tenant (see Episode 2, 5min 41sec in: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/pro-gamer-guantlet/3241-Ep-2-Lets-Vent).
