I Liked it great episode.

And I liked the fact we got to see two of their jobs.

Well damnit, now I want to play some Realm Ball. I need people who know the rules.

Oh, right. Episode... It was awesome, CRITICAL VICTORY!

He'd have to reroll to confirm the critical hit otherwise a natural 20 is just a guaranteed hit.

OT: I liked it, kind of wish I had a giant D20 ball thing

The episodes are so different from eachother, and longer every time. This is turning into an awesome series

I am seriously loving this show. I have been on the escapist for a while, and decided to actually register an account so I could add my praise to the lot :P. I look forward to many more episodes!

Hmmmm....Well, he didn't get the point, but at least they were victorious. Maybe it will come to him later. Great episode. :)

yay the evil of larp was banished! Loved the episode

Did anyone else get a Harry Dresden vibe when Rufus walked into the bar?

WHY does this show continue to surprise me with just how GOOD it is....when I already know that it is excellent? It makes no fucking sense.

Also the lighting and character development in this episode was phenomenal. Same goes for the cartoon sequence. Well done guys. Well done.

The 'I <3 everyone' sign made me giggle a bit.

...also, I like the idea that dodgeball with d20s was what was needed to unite all roleplayers once and for all.

I think the best parts of this episode was where you could tell they were people who knew what they were doing. And they were some pretty amazing parts, the lollipop man joke was brilliant and the final Realm Ball was great because they were both taking it seriously and just having a bit of fun.

The timing on some of the middle parts could be improved and I didn't think the bar and call in the DM bit really worked but everything else was great.

This is by far and away one of my favourite Escapist series ever and tied top with Dorlareous and Associates when it comes to series which is more than some guy giving his opinion on something

i never liked your... spinach puffs!
great episode i was wondering why there was so much hostility between roleplay, now i can reference this episode ^_^

Role playing is cool na dhip now? cause it sees like enough people here alone make LARPers out to be these things that are somehow less human or under intelligent.

Excellent. Really weird, but excellent.

Awesome way to finish a boss fight - natural 20! lol

I want to play realm ball now! This series is great.

The entire episode I was waiting until he used his whirling dervish.

Mm, not my thing. I've enjoyed the "parallels between the real world and the gaming world" theme, and this seemed to occupy a space between "reality" and gaming that I couldn't quite swallow. Not a bad episode, certainly, but not one I'll long remember.

Still, nice to get a little more development on our barbarian, and I appreciated the Emperor's New Groove reference.

I just wish we saw some of the action take place in the "imagination realm"; Still cool episode though!

Agreed 1000%!

I cant wait for the official league rules for Realm Ball to be put up, great job Aardvarks Anonymous (strangest name for a production group). Lets get ready to REALM BALL!!!!!!!!

"You know the rules, and so do I."

Interesting choice of words...

This is still a great show, I just wish there was more of a continuing story arc.

Also, I really wish I could do some role playing. I only hope that one day I can find a DM that's as awesome as theirs.

I would assume that the official team rules would be some combination of larping weapons that can be used as a distraction or to block the ball and each other. Then the players themselves probably have a set amount of hit points that when the ball hits them get removed by how ever much the dice shows for. More than likely there would be a dice interference rule with a negative hp penalty as well.

Awesome episode, loved it. And i got rick rolled, lovely!
Realmball was also quite fun.

I look forward to this series everyday, I love these episodes so much

Just commenting because this is the first time I actually decided to watch your show and I think it deserves more attention.

Oh, that was wonderful; a great piece of writing and well acted. You do realise you're now obligated by our sheer enthusiasm to publish Realmball?

This episode is like a brilliant mini-movie, great episode guys, I watched it multiple times. It was nice to see some more back-story and you guys away from the table, but I think it's time you called the show 'Tales away from the table'... NOT! Seriously funny stuff with Sir Wolfgang and his crew. Realm Ball waz da Bom! Wanna play it sooo bad. That cartoon was fantastic. Good work on an allround engaging, fresh, funny story that is an enigma and kudos on the beer. Rufus for the win. Now let's get ready the REALM B... REALM BALL!!!! Jerk!

I think that was the joke.
Great episode, I'm really enjoying this series, even though I don't RP or anything. It is a shame this isn't watched as much as other shows, but I guess the plot orientated nature is just not as accessible as Yahtzee or unskippable's quick-fire jokes.

Think this whole episode is pretty much a good hidden rickroll. :)

Great show!

Utterly ridiculous and oddly heart-warming.

Another epic episode, this show keeps going from strength to strength! :D

I can't remember what Whirling Dervish was from... when did he use that first?
