Nice song, and a surprisingly good Joker voice. Almost didn't think it was you there at the beginning!

Also, excellent reference to The Killing Joke in there. :P

this song sounds like its from batman the musical but it captures the spirt of the joker perfectly

1. Really like the lyrics. Wow, they are awesome :D
2. Digging the waltz feel to the song. It feels like underlying insanity. Like it wants to bubble to the top.
3. Great song!! Love the Joker voice.

Whoa ! It's like totally different voice. Nicely done sir !
(F*ck, is it really him ? I need to hear it one more time...)

Creepy circus theme. Make it stop...

P.S.

Wonderful, really wonderful, kinda reminds me of The Nightmare Before Christmas (which is only a good thing)

great music great lyric's and your voice just gave me Goosebumps! Cheers Gav

Wow don't usually comment on your videos cause I have nothing more to add than "That was awesome" but wanted to say that we may have finally found our voice replacement for Mark Hamil !

And ... That was awesome ...

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. You put on a great voice, had a great creepy carnival thing going on throughout all of it, had the right level of playfulness, captured their relationship well (at least how the Joker perceives it) and, all in all, made another terrific song.
Oh, and nice working in with the Killing Joke reference. So will you be putting your videos up on Thursdays now, then?

Oh come on if the Joker really understood Batman, he would have killed Dick Grayson rather than Jason, that would have him piss him off more a lot more :P

but its a great song

The opening tune was just perfect. The mad clown's voice was a dead ringer, and the laugh gave me chills.

DUDE. Really digging the vocals (and the rest of it too) on this song.

Though... be prepared to get lots of claims about there being a different singer this time. It happens every time Yahtzee has a cold or Moviebob let's his Boston accent slip in.

Definately a Nightmare before Christmas quality on some of the lines, intentional?

Holy cow, you nailed a Joker singing voice! Must repeat! Again, again!

awsome joker voice but i didnt realy like the song... sry :)

Channeling Danny Elfman, are we? (Val helped me pin down this familiar sound)

Fun song, Gav!

I really love the amount of effort that goes into these, and staying true to the source material is really important too, and you always nail it. Great Job MoS.

Great song. It's not that genre, but I really find that this voice would fit in a power metal song.

Even more strange that I think so, because I also think that this is really like a song from Nightmare before Christmas.

Not my kind of song but damn those vocals are impressive. Lyrics are fun as well. Just don't like the style (carnival/disney-esque or whatever genre it is).

But meh, it'll probably grow on me.

I guess someone really does know the mind of the bat. :)

I love it and it's so true. Batman without the Joker is like Yin without Yang.

I do believe this has replaced Sovengarde Song as my favorite song of yours Gav. I got a huge creepy circus vibe at the start of the song which fits the Joker perfectly, truly some of your best work.

Well fuck me sideways. No. Don't. Actually. That'd be weird.

That was awesome. I wasn't expecting it to be quite as good as it was!!! I loved your Joker voice and the lyrics were perfect for Joker and Batman. Read Killing Joke recently? XD It does remind me of a Nightmare Before Christmas song as well. Except. Ya know. Better. Because it's the Joker.

I'm rambling again. -.- This song is going to be stuck in my head now.

This one was just damn fun. Not musically brilliant like usual, but FUN. In caps. Which is a good thing.

I was grinning with amazement all the way through this one.
Great job, Gav.

Also, i imagine you had fun writing down the lyrics for the actual laugh.

While I know it was kind of the point (being Joker and all), but that laugh for the Catwoman part went on a bit too long for my tastes (though I got used to it).

Otherwise, you did amazing with this, especially with the Joker voice, not just the way you sounded, but also your pacing and subtle changes while doing it where you raised your voice or coughed during a verse. It also helps that it really sounds like something that I'd have heard Hamill himself singing in the Animated Series.

Also, you seriously have to update your bandcamp so I can give you my money for your newer songs. These need to get on my iPod right now.

Now your just toying with me Gav! Every time I'm sure you've reached the peak of what you're capable of you surpass it once again. You must be hacking!

Well I was not expecting that. As per usual, absolute genius.

That was awesome. Loved the kind of musical/Disney villain song feel to it. Very good!

Love this tune and especially the singing: the perfect mix of a little Mark Hamil and a little Tom Waits.

I'm starting to wonder what Gav would do with a game that isn't heavy on narrative like Tetris or CluClu Land.

of course great voice work. the song was really refreshing. it felt really odd for me in the beginning because you last songs were all pretty serious and/or epic. (which is good, don't get me wrong) but then to hear this song that is a bit more "fun". which felt really refreshing and only shows how good you are with this stuff.

impressive.

Hmm, yeah, I could see it there. I noticed Sovngarde Song reminded me of Blind Guardian.

Good song yet again Gav, keep up the good work and try out for the Joker next time to see what happens ;)

Was that David Gilmour doing the vocals?

I am glad people are spotting it ;)

Parts of that were pure awesome. I don't think I'll watch/listen too it over and over again like I have some of these, but it was still very good.

is the closest reference I could get. Not exactly what I thought of, but sorta. Just a tad bit darker voice.

Flip, that was Epic man! One of my favorites after just one listen you have done well :). Looking forward to seeing more the future!
