I have to agree, I never quite get why people get up in arms every time there's a ME3 update...or any time a game developer decides that they want their female character to actualy be pleasent to look at. | |

Though who knows, if ME3 ends up being good, I'll probably suck it up and buy it on Origin, so whatever. OT: Good comic. I like the idea of Tali (and the rest of Shep's crew) just shopping normally, it's amusing to me. To say nothing of the actual content, which was also quite good. | |
:P To me the obsession with Tali is as hard to understand as why many apparently get off on seeing Rei from Evangelion chopped into pieces and stuffed into suitcases. Am I curious about what she looks like behind the mask? Sure, I think everyone is. But apparently the simple fact that you can link suits and give her a staff infection *drum rimshot* in ME2 has all the fanboys "pitching tents". | |

Looking at that "making an appearance" link, it became a lot clearer on why the camera angles are constantly focused on asses. | |
I really don't have too much of a problem with our quasi-journalist stowaway. The Normandy's a big ship, and you have a team half the size of your ME2 crew, with the DLC members, of course. If you don't like her, just don't go to the lonely part of the ship she's on. Joker: "But that doesn't change anything! She's still watching... like that creepy kid who sits behind you in comp sci, and just want to punch him... but he's special and sets fires or something..." Shepard: "Your problem, not mine." | |

I don't care about her being in the game, even less do I care about that "conflict of interest". She's just a reporter on the Normandy, so I don't have to talk to her the whole time or take her to missions. She might even be a decent character. I reserve judgement. I mean, just because the character LOOKS like a melted Snooki and is voiced by a...whatever you want to call Chobot (I prefer "glorified booth babe"), that doesn't mean the character is horrible and unlikeable. Granted I'm kind of banking on her being unlikeable and cribbing renegade points off her by treating her like crap, but still. Also, Tali shopping for swimsuits is hilarious, however I must ask you to please stop feeding the fanartists and fanfic writers material. | |

I'm getting the 360 Kinect edition, so at least the R(EA)per invasion will not get on my computer. I'm with you on hating Origin, but this is a case of EA having me by the Citadel. Bioware is the ONE company I will buy games from without waiting on reviews. So while I would normally boycott EA games on principle, I'm not even going to pretend I have that kind of leverage here. I will say, the Kinect integration REALLY impressed me. I'm used to shouting at the Netflix app at the top of my voice for it to pause... I was on my couch this morning talking with my inside voice in the middle of a firefight, and everything I said was being picked up. It even let me add "Muahahahah!" to the renegade response options during convos without a blip. March 6th, WHERE ARE YOU!?!? | |
I assumed the reference to her fellating a PSP served to show the sort of "journalist" she is. The text under the strip kinda supports that: "Chobot is in the business of game previews - I.E: standing in front of a screen showing game footage, occasionally interjecting with some guff about how awesome it all is/was/or is going to be, ohmygosh - these features aren't exactly Frost/Nixon to begin with. "I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite game on the citadel," and all that."" Although the idea of people being okay with having their teeth punched out so they could give better oral sex is kinda funny. | |

Only a Critical Miss can do a comic about characters shopping, and somehow still make it all the funnier with very clever dialogue. I'm impressed, and thank you guys personally for having Tali for being the one to deliver the joke altogether (lol). She's my favorite in Mass Effect. Even though she seems to be the reasonable one, she is also the one to get mixed up with things, being confused now and again (I don't blame her, more then half the things that happen in Mass Effect I have to go to the journal and let the narrator explain what he/she/things are pretty much.) Good comic overall! :D | |
