Even after I saw the description I thought of this: "I don't mind it as an option I have nothing against homosexuality,even less so in a game." And it still stands after watching the video.

I try to keep an open mind and perspective.

Good for you Jim. The people complaining about the option for OTHER PEOPLE to persue a fictional relationship in a video game are just like the people complaining about the Archie comic with the gay wedding. Putting it on a store shelf isn't intrusive or oppressive. I can understand why people might be bothered by human-alien sex. The game developers point out some of the issues within the game, but homophobes just don't have any justification for their argument. I don't see agoraphobics complaining about multiplayer in games.

If that's what you want to do that's fine. It would have been nice to have a disclaimer to warn us viewers. I'm libertarian about it. As long as your not forcibly raping someone, stealing from someone, hurting someone (unwillingly), and/or killing someone I don't care. But just give me a heads up that your doing something that might offend.

P.S. I will probably still watch but the heads up will still be nice.

It could be considered too subtle because a lot of people here aren't the most intelligent people on the internet. You could have put a big flashing "THIS IS SARCASM" label for the duration of the video and it still would have been too subtle for some of these people. Well now, I do have a problem with gay people. Aka they are sick in the head and whatever excuse medics came up in USA when they realized they can't cure them did not just made them normal... Look, curing schizophrenia is not easy either. If possible at all.

That said excuses debunked in this video are pathetic indeed.
And pedophilia and homosexuality are indeed vastly different things. That said, both are cases of mental disorder but vastly different ones.

But what's most important here is that developers, Bioware, don't owe anything to anyone. If they want to include whatever new content it is entirely up to them. Your only choice is to either buy their game or don't buy it. It's as simple as that. Attacking writers for example is childish and outrageous. You may disagree with them or consider their creation abysmal.. But the only thing you're entitled to is ability to skip their game and don't buy it.

Based on what I've seen in past videos, like with his chainsaw sword, I'm beginning to wonder if Jim has some special fixation with melee weapons. Not that there's anything wrong with that. A man and his giant purple weaponized dong can be a beautiful thing.

I'm expecting the same excuses to come up anyway. And especially the people who blew through several of them, changing their story to conveniently dodge the real issue.

I have a problem with the gay relationship option. It's the same problem I have with the straight romance options and the cheating non-gender but looks like a girl so everyone's happy romance option. It's usually terribly written, usually unbelievable and any physical intimacy between two character models almost always looks stupid goofy.

...which of course doesn't mean I don't do them, I just admit they feel pretty stupid on the (w)hole.

1)It's normal to want things that make you happy
2) Your sexual organs cant tell the difference between other sexual organs(only your brain can)
3)They respond to physical stimulation
4)Arousal is all in the mind,your mind decides what you like.
5) Using your logic, should we bring it forth that people who only find models attractive are mentally unwell, as well as people who dont want to have sex with fat,disfigured or handicapped people of the opposite gender.
6)or should we say bisexuality, homosexuality and heterosexuality are all normal verations of sexual desire just as we say someone who doesnt find every women attractive isnt mentally unwell.?
