En Garde

The most important thing is to stay outside their vision cone.

Watch Video

Awesome as usual guys!

Guards: apparently peripheral vision is outside their paygrade...

commanders: knowing their inferiors is outside their paygrade...

Haha! I bet every guards in every stealth or with patrol games feel the same exact way too!

Ah, Loading Ready Run, you never cease to brighten my night.

this was brilliant, andys reaction to paul and matts conversation was so funny plus james with a moustache is all ways a good thing, great vid guys

Sometimes you guys just nail it. This is one of those times. Really hilarious episode.

Oh goodness, this was a fantastic episode.
Gotta love guards without peripherals.

Haha! That was one of my favourite episodes ever, very nicely done.

Tunnel-vision is also a requirement. Better safe than sorry after all!

Andy times are always good times. I also suddenly realized I have been prejudiced against the idea of a ginger gentleman being a secret agent all this time but he absolutely nailed it.

That was just brilliant all the way around.

James stylin' with the 'stash as usual :)

However, must that fucking ad really be half a minute long? Really now?

But apparently uniform uniforms were outside the budget of whoever they worked for. I know I'm not the only one distracted by the fact that Matt and Paul's uniforms don't match, or the fact that Matt's helmet didn't match the rest of his uniform.

I understand the LRR costuming restraints, and accept it as part of the joke, but it was still distracting.

Oh and... Yay, Andy.

Andy's making it into more and more LRR videos these days - is he going to make the jump into fully-fledged member sometime soon?
Also, this was brilliant.

This episode was insanely good. I'd love to have something like this in a real game - even a quick cutscene would do the trick. It would certainly liven up all those FPSs my brother insists on keeping around the house.

Love it!

Well, Matt and Paul were both without their glasses...

Really, really damned good, fellas.

Ah yes, the vision cone. I think its useful, maybe even necessary, for good stealth gameplay, but don't think about it for too long or your immersion will shatter. (Like in Deus Ex. The vision cone make stealthing so much easier. But how exactly do his implants tell Jenson where everyone is looking, at all times, even when he is hiding in an air duct?)

First thought: "ANDY!"
Second thought: "METAL GEAR!"

Quite funny. Maybe could have used a couple more cone-o'-vision gags, but funny.

Haha, Everything Andy is wonderful here. Everything everyone else is wonderful in a distinctly different way.

Never break the pattern so...

"Yay Andy!"

It was a great video as always guys!

This is what you get when the guy who designed your genre is Hideo Kojima...

:D

Yes XD "what a convienience"

now all he needs is a good cardboard box and he'll be completely invisible!

Well, Matt and Paul were both without their glasses...

so this whole time guards aren't dumb, they are just not alowed to wear their glasses. Tat kinda makes sense why you can be 14 feet in front of them and they'll spot you, but if your 15 feet away you're invisible. You just look like a blurry blob that blends into the rest of the blurry blob they see.

Love it. Keep up the good work LRR!!

Rather explains why they're such poor shots as well.

Fantastic skit, but the drill vocabulary seemed a bit off, Definitely if it was supposed to be American, but not familiar with Canadian drill.

It is always, always, ALWAYS a good day when Cownden shows up. :D
